Bajan los tres y les reciben dos

Estibaliz: Hi! Welcome! How are you?

X: Fine, thanks, just a bit tired. These are my friends, Y and Z.
Estibaliz and Naia: Nice to meet you.
Estibaliz: This is my friend Naia.
Naia: Hi. So it was a long journey then?
Z: Yes, quite long.
Naia: Oh, do you want to go home and have a rest?
X: No way! We prefer to meet your friends!
Estibaliz: OK, great, let’s go. I think I know where they are, and we can show you our
village.

ARCADAS

Estibaliz: We are going to start here. This place is called “Las Arcadas” because, as
you see there are several arches.

Off voice (Nora): On these arches we can see the Town Hall. It’s one of the oldest in
Navarra. Behind the Town Hall se can see “Príncipe de Viana Palace”. Now we can
find the library.

Off voice (Leyre): Between the Town Hall and thepalace we can see “patio de armas”
where the people who worked for the prince trained for the battles. Now it is a place
to rest.

Naia: Now we are going to go up the main street, called “calle mayor” and we will
reach a typical place there, “El prau”. There we’ll meet some friends.

Out from book shop: Angela, Belén, Marjorie Silvia and Cristina.

Cristina: Ey! What are you doing here?

Estibaliz: Look, these are some English friends who are visiting Sangüesa. These are
Angela, Belén, Silvia, Marjorie and Cristina.
All together: Hi!
X, Y and Z: Hi there!
Belén: Where are you going?
Naia: We’re going to el prau. Do you want to come?
Marjorie: Sure, why not?
Silvia: Sure, it’s not far.
Angela: Yes, I think the others are there playing football. Let’s go.

Prau

People playing football.

The ball leaves accidentally the pitch and it reaches the group.
Javier goes to pick the ball
Javier: Ey, who are your friends?
Belén: They are some English friends. They are visiting Sangüesa.
Javier: Pleased to meet you. Do you want to join us? We’re playing football.

Background:
Eduardo: Come on, Javier! We are waiting for you!

Javier: so, are you coming?

X: Ok, let’s go.

Adrian: Here! Here! Pass the ball!

Borja: Careful! He’s behind you!
Ohiane scores
Daniel: Goaaaaaaalll!

Everybody sitting on a bench, resting.

Marisa: Have you seen Santiago?

X: Santiago? What is it?
Jennifer: It’s a Romanique church and it’s important for the pilgrims who walk
towards Santiago de Compostela..
Marta: It’s really nice, but maybe you are too tired to go there.
Z: Actually, we are really tired.
Ohiane: But you have to visit our school!
Mishell: yes, that’s where we spend most of our time.
Y: Sure.
Z: I’d love that.

2º A

P: And this is our school. Ey! Those are my friends. Hi!

All the people: Hi!
P: Look, this is X, Y and Z. They are from London and we are showing them
Sangüesa.
Blanco: Hi, my name is María and these are my friends Patxi, María, Ana and Sergio.
Ana: Would you like to see our school?
Sergio: And you can meet our other friends.
Y: Ok! Your school is very big. It looks like a church.
Ana: That’s because before it was a religious school.
X: And what is this? (pointing at the written stone)
Urrutia: That is the name of the woman who gave the money and the land to build the
school.
Off-voice (Blanco): This building is about one hundred years old. One lady wanted to
build a school for women, because at that time women didn’t study. It was a religious
school until 1984, when it became IES Sierra de Leyre, our present school.
Patxi: I think the others are playing football. Let’s go.
Escena en marcha rápida o corte limpio.

Some people are playing football. Patxi, Sergio and Blanco join them.

Sergio: Ey! Pass me the ball!

Pablo, Victor and Andrea come.
Pablo: Ey! My name is Pablo, what are your names?
X: We’re X, Y and Z. What are you doing?
Andrea: We’re playing football. We usually play football during the break.
Victor: Yes, we have a 30-minute break and we do sport or we just walk and talk.
Pablo: And we eat! Because after three lessons we are really hungry!
Ana: Where’s Carmen? Isn’t she playing football with you?
Andrea: No, she’s playing basketball with other girls. They are there (pointing).
Blanco: Ok, I’ll stay here, can you go with them?
Victor: Of course, let’s go.

Blanco and Ana stay playing football and the three strangers go with Andrea, Victor
and Pablo. Some people are playing basket. They stop when they see the six people
coming.

Victor: Hi guys! These are our new friends.

Everybody: Hi!
Carmen: Do you want to play basket with us?
Y: Yeah, why not?

They play basket for 20 seconds, quick scenes, quick music.

Next scene: sitting down, they all look tired.

Z: Do you do any other activities apart from football and basket?

Montañés: Yes! We play table tennis inside, in a big room. (Off-voice: we have two
tables and boys love playing!)
(short scene people playing table-tennis)

Carmen: We also dance hip-hop in the sports centre. (Off.voice: It’s really funny and
we have a great time).

(Short scene people dancing hip-hop)

Beroiz: Ey, you’re forgetting the skipping rope!

(Short scene people jumping)

Beroiz: After jumping you feel very tired, but isn’t it funny?
Everybody nodding: Yes!

Y: Do you organise any competitions?

S Martínez: Yes, of course, from time to time we organise sports competitions:
football, basket, table-tennis… and the winners get T-shirts!
(The bell rings)

Montañés: Time to go back to class. Now we have P.E.

Carmen: You can come with us! Our P.E. teacher is really nice, and she speaks
English quite well!

(They all go to the sports centre)

X: Ouau! This is a big sports centre!

Beroiz: Iñigo! Look, these are our new English friends, X, Y and Z. Where is the P.E
teacher?
Iñigo: Hi! Edurne is coming in a minute. Look, here she is. Edurne! These are some
English friends. Can they stay with us and play volleball?
P.E. teacher: Yes, sure. Go ahead!

(They all play volleball for some seconds. Quick images)

Off-voice (Andrea’s) In P.E. we do a lot of different things. At the moment we are

playing volleball, but we also play basket, football, we run, etc. After P.E. we always
have a shower and then we come back to the classroom.

(The bell rings)

Montañés: Now we have Geography. But you can stay with some other friends. Ey!
Beatriz, Isabel! These are some English friends, X, Y and Z.
Carmen: We have geography now, can you show them the school? They have seen the
playground. Can you show them the building?
Beatriz: Sure, let’s go!

2B

Beatriz: Did you like the playground?

Z: Yes, sure. And your friends are really nice.
Y: We played football and basket with them.
Isabel: Well, this is the main entrance and here are Rosa and Eneko. You can count on
them for everything. Hi Rosa!
Rosa: Hola!
Beatriz: She doesn’t speak English.
Isabel: This is our corridor and that’s our class.

The people are outside the class.

Isabel: Ey! Is the English teacher inside?

Adrian: Not yet.
Oziel: Come on, give us a break, we need to relax.
Alvaro: Look! She’s coming!
Iñigo: Let’s get ready for the class.

And they all rush into the classroom.

Lydia: I like English, it’s better than maths.

Esther: No way! The English teacher is very boring. I prefer music.
X: Oh, do you learn music?
Samuel: Yes, and we have a lot of instruments to practise. It’s fantastic.
Esther: It’s the best classroom in the school. We sing and play the flute.
Amaia: I hate music. I think English is more creative.
Cesar: Look, those are our posters. It was a competition organised by the English
teachers.
Lydia: And we won!
Cesar: Yes, but we got the best English award! Jeje!
Sergio: Excuse me? Can I go to the toilet, please?
Teacher: Ok, but don’t be long.
Sergio: Can the English students come with me?
Teacher: that’s fine.
Leyre: Can I go too?
Teacher: Pfff, Ok, anybody else? (Irony)

Leyre: Look, that’s the Head Teacher, and she’s really strict.
Sergio: Shhh, don’t make noise…

Sergio: And this is the Teachers’ Room. Do you want to have a look inside?
They open the door and there is a party…
Strange faces and they leave.

Back in class.
Bell rings.

Sergio A.: Now we have IT. We have two computer rooms, they are quite good. Do
you want to come a see it?
Y: Sure, so I can send an email to my parents.
Antonio: Vamos a ver, a ver si nos callamos de una vez.
Y: Something is wrong with this computer, I can’t send my email!
Leticia: Have you pressed “send”?
Y: Of course, do you think I’m an idiot?
Vanessa: Antonio, este ordenador no funciona.
Antonio: qué pasa.
X: sorry, we speak in English.
Antonio: What happens?
Y: I can’t send this email.
Antonio: let me see (he types something) No problem. Sent!
Vanessa: Oh, it’s working now!
Z: Oh, thanks!

Leticia: Finally, this is the library.

X: Do you normally use it?
Carlos: We sometimes come here during the break to revise.
Leticia: Only if we have exams, we are not nerds, jeje.

Vanessa: Well, I hope you liked our school and Sanguesa.

X: Of course, we had a great time.
Y: Yes, thanks for everything.
Leticia: Come back! We also had a great time with you.
Z: See you soon.
