The aim of writing a work like Fragments from Chronos is simply to portray the mysterious in the pages of a book. It is a rare and unusual invention of some originality which hopes to find appreciation in the lover of unique things.
The fiction, poetry and apothegm that constitute this collection are loosely related and endeavor to portray a sort of literary Oroboros of recurrent Time, a tautological adumbration of the Eternal Return. Their hypothesis is built upon Pre-Socratic cosmologies, chiefly that of Heraclitus, Anaxagoras and Parmenides. Their relation to one another is based on the idea of chronothesia, which is an awareness of both past and future happening concurrently with the present. The accumulative effect should resemble more a photo-mosaic where a collection of images are arranged in such a manner as to resemble another image in the whole when viewed from a distance. It is an endeavor which may sound more challenging than it actually is.
