All our products are intricately handcrafted. Their mild

imperfection represents their natural beauty and rawness. We use
only pure fabrics to maintain the highest standard of quality.
Our conceptualization and tailoring is done in Bengaluru
and the hand embroidery is executed through a team of artisans
in Kashmir.

 HOW TO IDENTIFY THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN HAND AND MACHINE EMBROIDERY
To check if the embroidery is handmade - look for the mild imperfections at the back of
the product and observe the little variation in the size of stitches, knots and messy
thread endings. Every work in hand embroidery is unique to the person who stitched the
garment, unlike machine embroidery where every stitch is very uniform and identical.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All our products at Urzuv are intricately handcrafted. Their mild imperfection represents
their natural beauty and rawness.In order to maintain the stoles it is recommended that you
follow these care instructions:

~ Dry-cleaning is the recommended & ~ Stack stoles one over the other

~ Wash or bleach your shawls/stoles in a
~ Since food stains and body oils attract moths, washing machine or in hot water
ensure that your shawl/stole is clean before packing it
~ Store in plastic it can lead to the

a protective case which is moth-proof
~ Use naphthalene balls or cakes while storing
~ Airing your shawl regularly helps keep it stay

~ It is recommended that you always use steam
when pressing wool
~ While ironing, cover it with a protective cloth
& keep the iron at a low temperature

Our products are handcrafted by artisans in the Kashmir valley and it could take up to
3-4 weeks to create an outfit from scratch. However, if the product is available in stock,
orders get dispatched within 7 working days from the date of purchase.

All our products are handcrafted by artisans from small villages in Kashmir. Unlike machine woven
pieces that are identical, each of our products are completely hand made hence there might be a slight
variance in the colour/embroidery from the one depicted in the picture.
