A beautiful project that was born to support Colombian artisans during these days due to Covid 19.
We work directly with every artisan to understand their product, their production process and to build a relationship based in trust and respect.

The products we offer are handwoven with love by talented artisans from different places and different cultures around the country, using natural
fibers like Iraca Palm, fique, junco, with ancients techniques to preserve their culture and pass their knowledge through generations.
We aim to build a sustainable market where our profits are reinvested in more opportunities for artisans, help them improve their situation, their
families and their community.

The iraca is a tropical palm that produces
robust and light fibers that are just perfect to
handcraft the most amazing crafts; from the
traditional hats to small decorative bowls,
hanging mobiles, handbags, round woven
placemats, and the most incredible array of
woven baskets.
Women weave in groups using techniques
that have been passed on to them by their
mothers, and many generations of women
before them. Such techniques are also part
of their cultural heritage, received from their
indigenous ancestors.

Petacas Guapi

These amazing baskets are handwoven from

natural fibers by the Eperara Siapidara people in
Guapi, in the Pacific Coast of Colombia.
The Baskets are made from two types of naturally
dyed palm fibers and each basket can take up to
several weeks to complete

The Eperara Siapidara, who for various reasons

were forced to leave their native lands, have
established residence in Guapi and formed the
Canaan Community, where they are reclaiming
their ancestral customs and traditions.

the municipality of Quibdó in western Colombia.

Mochilas

These beautiful Colombian mochila bags are

handmade by women from the Kankuamo
Indigenous comunity in the Sierra Nevada de
Santa Marta. The crossbody bags are woven from
fique fibers which are processed and dyed with
natural plant coloring, assuring that no one bag is
identical to any other.

Woven by women from the Embera Chami indigenous community,

these necklaces combine beads of different sizes and colors,
creating wonderful pieces.

Mothers have taught their daughters from generation to

generation the techniques, the meaning of each color, the signs
and the drawings, leaving the cultural legacy through the fabric.
Necklaces are a work of art that beautifies and empowers the
woman who wears them.

A handcrafted basket made out of recyclable material .

Zuncho is a type of plastic that is commonly used for packaging
purposes, the artisans recycle the zuncho and mix different
colors to create a handcrafted basket that resists heavyweight
and hardly deteriorates despite the rain.

For the elaboration of these Colombian crafts, the artisans

recycle different colored zuncho strips, which have become
industrial process waste.

Is as an eco-friendly alternative that replaces plastic bags when

you go shopping.

 Molas

Molas are hand made using a reverse appliqué

technique. Several layers (usually two to seven) of
different-coloured cloth (usually cotton) are sewn
together; the design is then formed by cutting parts of
each layer away.

The edges of the layers are then sewn down; the finest
molas have extremely fine stitching, made using tiny
needles.
