Position Title:

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST


Salary Grade is based on U. S. Mission Local Compensation Plan

Position Summary: The Information Technology Specialist serves as a member of the Management & Operations Team: Primary contact for first-tier support for all technical and communication components of Peace Corps Liberia. Ensures posts technical operations are running at optimum capability at our main office, training center and hub facilities . Coordinates the development and training of Peace Corps staff on Microsoft products and Peace Corps agency software programs. Uses innovation and web base tools to enhance work flow and communication process for the entire organization. QUALIFICATIONS: Advanced experience (3 years +) in Information Technology and Communication. Exceptional and proven written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrate proficiency and ability to train other in Microsoft products such as Excel, Work, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook. Experience with project design and implementation. Ability to construct a website (all platforms) and ongoing maintenance. Adaptability to web and access based programs. Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to perform complex duties with minimal supervision as needed to support the group effort. Must be very organized, efficient and have the ability to prioritize many projects at one time. Must be solution oriented and resourceful in problem solving. Position Summary:

Incumbent assists in providing administrative support to all Peace Corps Volunteers/ Trainees and all staff. S/He provides logistical, maintenance, vendor and management support to post relating to properties and Peace Corps assets, working with the Director of Management & Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Has a historical background in property maintenance and related experience such as construction, electric and other. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to create and maintain a spreadsheet) and Word (ability to create and maintain documents). Experience in Microsoft Outlook and computer basics. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to perform as a team leader and work effectively as a team. Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. Must be very organized, efficient and resourceful in problem solving. Maintains a valid drivers license for operations of vehicles in Liberia. Position Summary:

Incumbent serves as the Transportation Coordinator and oversees procurement of all PC required furnishings, and office supplies as well as provides administrative support services as needed. S/He assures that vehicles are properly serviced and operated according to Peace Corps and USG guidelines, and manufacturer specifications. S/He maintains an understanding of all country-specific laws regarding the ownership and operation of motor vehicles and the specific requirements related to diplomatic license plates. Position works directly with the Director of Management & Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Has a historical background in mechanical maintenance for vehicles and generators. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (ability to create and maintain a spreadsheet) and Word (ability to create and maintain documents). Experience in Microsoft Outlook and computer basics. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Ability to perform as a team leader and work effectively as a team.
