Every year, more than 4,500 people receive technical and industry training, including classroom, and hands-on training through our global training centers.
Marinette, WI, USA Founded in 1948, Ansul Fire School is located on a 350-acre (1.4 square kilometer) campus in Marinette, WI, USA. Created to teach people how to use dry chemical re extinguishers, the school has since evolved and expanded to train more than 50,000 people. The basic three-day ANSUL Fire School course includes a mixture of classroom and eld instruction in proper techniques of ghting 25 different types of ammable liquid and gas res, simulating actual hazards found in the industry.
Mexico City, MX Built in 2013, this 3,300 square foot (300 square meter) education center provides classroom courses covering water-based and special hazard systems and hands-on alarm and detection education. The facility is equipped with a discharge room to demonstrate the activation of INERGEN, SAPPHIRE, and ANSUL R-102 Restaurant systems as well as spray patterns of various TYCO sprinklers and nozzles.
Port Arthur, TX, USA Located in the heart of Americas oil & gas corridor, TYCOs newest operating facility strengthens our position as a leader in xed and portable suppression systems manufacturing. Including advanced equipment testing and maintenance capabilities, WILLIAMS FIRE & HAZARD CONTROL will also provide technical response and equipment application training in the state-of-the-art training facilities. Site location also maintains a strategic deployment advantage housing WILLIAMS largest cache of portable re response equipment dedicated to protect oil & gas clients throughout the gulf south and across the Americas.
Cranston, RI, USA For over 30 years, this 4-acre (16,100 square meter) site has been TYCOs technology center for water-based re protection and mechanical piping products. In 2012, the 14,000 square foot (1,115 square meter) Frederick Grinnell Education Center (FGEC) underwent a major renovation to expand the hands-on educational offerings to include 16 fully functional riser assemblies, re pumps, a special hazards training section, mechanical products lab, re demonstration cells and a water spray distribution room. The FGEC is designed to provide a world class learning environment for anyone involved with the re protection industry.
