TheMDGsare8measureablegoalsdesignedbytheUnitedNations(UN)in2000 tocombatknownfactorsthatcauseextremepoverty.EOTOWorldbelievesthat thesemeasures,whichhaveaprojectedgoalofachievementinvaryingdegreesby 2015,shouldbeconsistentlyworkedonuntilpovertyiseradicated.Likewise,COP isaUNconceptthatsuggeststhatinordertoeliminatesystematicviolence,one mustcultivatepeacefortheenvironment,betweenandwithinnations,aswellas withintheself.Povertyandviolenceareinextricablylinked.EOTOWorldbelieves inpromotingaCOPtoachievesustainableworldpeace.
