Equipme Resp. nt 1730 Grandhowl Skin Akela 10mi Flag Flag ns Attendance Register Inspection- Clean hands and nails Bones Cubs are very clever and know about 1st Aid so we have been asked to help staff the Ambulances. The first job is to check we have all the equipment. 1740 Steam release- Checking the Ambulances. Soft ball Baloo 5min The players are divided into two teams (hats on and hats off) and s one cub is given a soft ball. That cub throws the ball at a member of the other team and tries to hit them below the knees, while that team tries to avoid being hit. The person who is hit must then name an item found in a first aid kit or Ambulance within the count of five. If they fail, they join the other team; if they are right then they throw the ball. The winner is the team with the most players at the end of five mins. We cant go out in the Ambulances until weve checked our knowledge. 1745 Quiet Game- Red Light Green light. List of Kaa 10mi Prepare a list of first aid statements that can be replied to with a true ns true or false answer. Cubs stand in a straight line side by side, false 1st with a goal of reaching the end of the hall. As the statements are Aid read cubs take two steps forward if they believe the answer is true, Questions stand still if the answer is false or if they are wrong go back to the beginning. There has been an emergency call and you need to give the message to the Ambulance Crew. 1755 Relay Game- Emergency message. Emergenc Akela 10mi The pack lines up in their sixes with the second at the front and the y ns sixer at the back with every cub about 2m apart. The second runs up message to the leader who will whisper a message which involves dealing with per six an emergency. They then run back to the first member of the six and pass on the message; this is passed on through the six until it reaches the sixer at the back who repeats the message. Quick.. Its time to man the Ambulances. 1805 Team Game- To the Ambulances. Baloo 10mi Divide the pack into threes. Two make a seat and carry the third to ns the end of the hall and back then swap until all have been carried to the ambulance. The first team to finish wins. (try to match the sizes) We have time to go over our skills on the way. 1815 Instruction- Chums All Akela 15mi Cheetahrelevant Baghee ns Leopardteaching ra Lionaids Kaa Baloo I wonder what sort of injuries we have to deal with. 1830 Play acting- Accident scene. Cards to Akela 20mi The members of one six are each given a card to hang round their hang ns neck describing the injury they have sustained in a car accident. round They then lie in a position to reflect the accident.
