    The workers on site shall be responsible for their basic safety. The Management will cooperate with workers and this will ensure safer working conditions and a more accident free work place. MAIN POINTS: Do not take chances or short cuts-carry out instructions/procedures If you do not know-ask Rectify or report all unsafe conditions Use correct tools and equipment Help to keep the work place clean and tidy Have all injuries, however slight, properly attended to Do not indulge in horseplay or distract others Wear the appropriate protective clothing and equipment provided for your safety (Safety harness, helmets, safety shoes, hand gloves etc) Do not use the machines unless you are authorized to use Strictly follow the Work Permit Procedures, Hot works, Lifting, Blasting, Excavation, Lock out and Tag out, Confined space, Radiography etc Scaffoldings must only be erected/dismantled/modified by authorized persons only Do not leave tools on the floor or where they can fall on people below Always use safe access Get to know your Assembly point Get to know the location of your First Aid Centre and Fire Points Do not jump from one elevation to another, Use proper access If you missed out on the induction, tell your Supervisor so you can get one now Do not remove any barricades or edge protections, if removed for any work, must be replaced immediately Safety harness to be used at all times while working above 2 m height Never keep opened the control panel doors and the landing doors unattended Housekeeping to be done on a regular basis.
