Subject: WV Teacher pens new novel—Inky & the Missing Gold!

(Terra Alta)— Don Stansberry, Vienna, WV resident and former
Parkersburg High School Girl’s Basketball coach, has a new novel
released by Headline Books, Inc. Inky & the Missing Gold. —a
fanciful tale of a very small wizard charged with solving a very large
problem for the King.

“Don Stansberry is an articulate story teller and I am very happy to

have him as a new author,” says company president, Cathy Teets. “We
currently have one title out for the Harry Potter age group with two
more to be released this fall and Don’s is one of the best! He incorporates
history into his medieval tale of treasure, magical creatures, and one
very smart wizard—it is definitely a page-turner!”

Inky has been cursed for three hundred years and his adventures have
become ledgendary among the royals in the kingdom. The King sends
his courier to find Inky in his remote home in the ruins of an ancient
castle and has him brought to the castle to find out who is stealing the
gold from the treasure room. Inky is befriended by castle resident,
Oglebee and together they set about to discover who the thief is.

Don Stansberry is a native West Virginian and an elementary school teacher. He has been in the public school
system for 23 years and always had an interest in writing. He was the head coach for the Parkersburg High Girls’
Basketball team for 16 years and retired from this position with four state championships. Stansberry will be
traveling as part of the Headline Books School Show Program as his schedule allows and will be featured at the
October West Virginia Book Festival at the Charleston Civic Center with Headline Books.

Don lives in West Virginia with his wife Patty and his two daughters Shay and Sydney. He is currently working on
his next novel, Inky, Oglebee, and the Witches. Look for Inky & the Missing Gold online or at your favorite
bookstore.
