Robert Hawkins is in captivity a prisoner in a secure military facility in Jericho.

While Hawkins is under surveillance twenty-four hours a day as the A.S.A.s most wanted man, we soon realize that this is a setup by the resistance to draw Thomas Valente, the head of the A.S.A. brass, to Jericho. Valente is now on his way, where he hopes to interrogate Hawkins and grill him on the location of John Smith. Valentes arrival in Jericho will be a game changer for the resistance, a major step towards preventing the Civil Warbut Hawkins and Jake Green have already foreseen that Smith may want to derail the visit. That is unless Jake succeeds in his mission to wrench away Smiths leverage. While carrying out a risky plan to sneak into Smiths residence, Jake manages to gain access to the Precipice, the flash drive that grants complete entry to the J&R mainframe. With Smiths agenda still unclear, Jake is beginning to realize that the only person who may be able to help him is the person he cares about the most: Emily. Meanwhile, Dale confronts Mimi about her clandestine activities on the farm, only to be dragged into a conspiracy that is darker and deeper than either of them realized. And things for Major Beck and Heather take a turn for the worse, when Valentes top lieutenant Adam Palmer learns of their secret romance
