Dear Chris,

Regarding Your £41,678 in Claims for Your "Main Residence"

It is clear to us that your main residence is not your home in Eastbourne, Sussex. It
is also clear that your London home in Stockwell, which is a mere two miles from
your usual place of work, is not in truth your second "holiday home". You have for
some time avoided giving a full explanation of your affairs, instead you have said
that "At every stage I have confirmed the propriety of my claims with the House
authorities."

Could you explain to us how you justified claiming to the House authorities that your
Stockwell home is in fact your second home? If not, when do you propose to repay
the £41,678 that you have falsely claimed from the taxpayers on the basis of a
misrepresentation of your actual circumstances.

If we do not receive a satisfactory reply from you it is our intention to pursue this
matter with the House authorities. We reserve the right ultimately to bring a private
prosecution if no other remedy can be found.
