ADVERTISEMENT FOR VACANCIES OF 160 HLSSF VOLUNTEERS.


POST: PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS (VOLUNTEERS) REPORTS TO: CHIEF PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER LOCATIONS: 160 districts of Tanzania mainland. That is, all districts of Tanzania mainland. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION: Effectively and efficiently facilitate Implementation of program development and sponsorship at the district level to ensure that communities are empowered for sustainable development and they contribute to students better studying and living environment as per HLSSF standards. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Sensitize, Mobilize and facilitate Community engagement in the HLSSF INSURANCE PROGRAM and advocacy for HLSSF projects within the district area. 2) Searching for and coordinating all sponsors, partners and donors for HLSSF projects within the district and abroad if possible. 3) Organizing youths who are ready to employ themselves through their talents like music, film acting,comedies,small businesses,etc 4) Visiting secondary schools in the district; sharing with the school management and the students about the presence of HLSSF, its services, students membership and benefits for being a member of HLSSF through HLSSF CLUBS in schools. 5) Coordinating and supervising all HLSSF public meetings at the district, giving directives to all those who want to join HLSSF and how to obtain the forms and how to communicate with HLSSF TOP MANAGEMENT.

Minimum Qualification required: Diploma in Social Science, public relations, marketing, sociology, community development, accounting, public administration & other related from accredited College/University.

Experience: Ability to communicate with the community through Village Executive Officers, Ward Executive officers, etc .That is, being able to disseminate the correct information.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Report writing skills Confidence in working. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of members and donors. Computer skills. Community Facilitation skills.
