RDI, the launchpad for anew range of IT and Computing Programmes

There is no no doubt that , in the past few years, digital literacy has become an inevitable part of world economic growth, impacting heavily on employment. Digital literacy is now key part of both personal and professional development.

A study on this has revealed that in the present economic scenario, 90% of jobs will demand refined digital skills and digital literacy. As a result, graduates who can seamingly develop and design codes, software and hardware systems, solve complex problems, and integrate well in teams are in great demand. RDI comes to support the development of digital literacy via new course offering and great tutorial support. RDIs initiative to support Digital Literacy This autumn, RDI is preparing to launch an array of IT and Computing specialisms at both degree and Masters level. Its mission is to contribute to the professional and vocational

development of learners. In line with RDIs expertise, these new range of programmes will be delivered worldwide through online distance learning. RDI will offer these courses in collaboration with Anglia Ruskin University, a UK university that has one of the highest employability rates in the HE sector.

Undergraduate level courses The following three routes or courses in Computing can be studied as a full degree. The list includes: Degree in Computing and Information Management The subject focuses on the power of computer technology that can be used for supporting different business operations

Degree in Computing The subject is focused on use of web technologies, like online business systems and e-commerce Degree in Mobile Computing The subject offers an insight into the use of computer technology so as to deliver communications, ensure capability and provide access to information while the user is on the move.

Postgraduate level courses The new postgraduate programmes are designed around the management of proper information systems in businessesas well as in other contexts. These programmes facilitate the development of learners on diverse topics of interest, so as to assist them in exploring issues relevant to the workplace. These programmes are:

Masters in Systems Security The course deals with issues related to threats found in security systems; the course also covers the methods in mitigating those threats. Masters in Information Systems The course delves deep into retrieving and handling information, which is stored on computer systems and which isaccessed through web technologies.

Masters in Mobile Systems Yet again, this course is focused on the provision of accessing information systems when the user is on the move.
