The First Phase of the ADOC
Chinese Taipei first proposed in the 2003

Project (2003 to 2008):

APEC Economic Leaders Meeting. It aims to assist in transforming digital divides into digital opportunities throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Formed ADOC International Alliances with 10 PMEs Established ADOC International Partner Offices and 100 Centers among PMEs, across 3 Continents Invited more than 1,000 Organizations from PublicPrivate Sector to get involved in the project:

Encouraged more than 1,800 International Volunteers to Participate


Developed 7 Types of Digital Opportunity Centers to Meet the Needs of Different Groups Trained more than 380,000 People

Provide a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Platform Offer down-to-earth Vocational Training Programs Bring Mobility
Allowing APEC member economies to share their experiences & collaborate with ideas and initiatives that contribute to bridge the digital divide.

Offering vocational training programs is an effective way to help those who need it the most to advance in their careers and studies ultimately improve the quality of their lives.

The ADOC 2.0 Digital Hope Train concept, through its Mobile Digital Opportunity Centers (MDOCs) delivers education & training to those who have no access to conventional centers
