Student Government of Seattle University Senior Events Committee Description and Duties:

Senior Week committee has been designed in the hopes that 2 seniors and 2 juniors, working along with the Senior Class Representative can plan and implement a fun week of activities for seniors to celebrate the hard work and dedication they have shown throughout the years at Seattle University.

What is Senior Week? Senior Week is a weeklong program of activities, which offer a time for reflection, service to the community, and a celebration of all that has been accomplished by the seniors of Seattle University. In the past these activities have ranged from a day dedicated to Campus Ministry (this included breakfast at Arrupe with Jesuits, lunch with Magis, a wine and cheese mixer, and more! ), to a BBQ with Career Services, to VIP treatment at a Sounders Game, to Rec Fest, to Senior Soiree. As you can see there are many fun and exciting events that occur during Senior Week, which is why SGSU would love to have more students help plan and offer input on this week.

**Senior Events are tentatively planned for Monday, May 12th- Thursday, May 29th, 2013** Duties:
Meet as a committee at least 1 hour a week (Not likely during Fall Quarter but more so for Winter and Spring Quarter) Work alongside Senior Class Representative to contact possible partners for Senior Events Meet with campus partners to plan Senior Week Events Help plan and implement Senior Week Events Attend as many Senior Week Events as possible (although academics always come first!) Be creative and have fun!

How to Apply:

1. Read over the Description of the Senior Week committee 2. Fill out the Application for Senior Week committee 3. Submit your filled out application, along with a Resume to the Student Government office located in Student Center 360 or email all materials to SGSUSeniorRep@seattleu.edu

Applications are due electronically by Friday, October 11th, 2013 @ 10pm or hard copy by Wednesday, October 9th, 2013 @ 5:30pm to Student Center 360. Interviews will be taking place the following week from Monday, October 14th, 2013, to Friday, October, 18th, 2013.
