*For each one tenth of one percent that actual weekday ridership grows in excess of the District's Short Range Transit Plan projections, there will be an increase of one tenth of one percent in base wages.

Pension

Cost neutral pension swap separate from wages. For each $1 of increased employee pension contributions, employees will receive 72 cents.
Increased healthcare contributions for family coverage. Over three years, increased cost of thousands of dollars for workers who require family coverage and triples the cost in the first year alone. Increased healthcare contributions of more than 15% across the board for all BART workers.

Healthcare

Note: Short Range Transit Plan (STRP) ridership estimates determine revenue projections annually. Wage increases, under the unions October 2nd counterproposal, would increase .10% annually for each .10% increase in ridership.
