COLLEGE OF AFRICAN WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT MWEKA


The College of African Wildlife Management - MWEKA was established by an Act of College of African Wildlife Management No. 8 of 1964. The college offers programmes in Wildlife Management, Wildlife Tourism and Tourism Hunting.

1.1 PRINCIPAL PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER I (1 POST) 1.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Edits press materially ready for publication Approves radio/Tv programmes for the College. Analyses and responds to public criticism and complaints Manages production and distribution of calendar, cards and posters. Handles protocol & travel arrangements for the College dignitaries Responsible for managing public relations functions of the College Plans, organises and implements marketing, marketing research and marketing development Overall co-ordination of presentations and management of all College publicity activities Conducts research and consultancy Co ordinates preparations and manages budget of the Public Relations Unit Prepares programmes for promoting and enhancing the good image of the College Ensures close liaison with the press Writes and edits College Publicity materials and press releases Performs monitoring and evaluation of the College Public relations Unit

INSTITUTE OF ADULT EDUCATION

The Institute of Adult Education is a Government Institution established by Act of Parliament No.12 of 1975. It is a leading Institution in the provision of quality Adult and Non formal Continuing Education.

2.1

LECTURERS (3 POSTS)

Masters Degree in Education with background of Chemistry or Physics in undergraduate studies. Proven applicable working experience preferably in teaching/research and or consultancy.

Assesses the systems clientele needs, Analyses programme loads and implementation techniques, Finds out operational efficiency of the programme using costs and other indicators, Prepares basic statistical and management reports, Stores and retrieves inventory information, Interprets and analyses data plan formulation and Performs any other related duties as assigned by supervisor. 2.7.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor degree either in Economics, Educational Planning, Management, Statistics, or any other relevant field from recognized institution. At least three (3) years working experience in a similar position.

2.7.3 REMUNERATION Attractive remuneration package in accordance with the Institutions salary scale PGSS 12. 2.8 PERSONAL SECRETARY I - (1 POST) 2.8.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. DAR ES SALAAM MARITIME INSTITUTE (DMI)

Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute (DMI) is an Insititute under the Ministry of Transport established by an Act of Parliament No. 22 of 1991. DMI is a specialized Institute for Maritime Education and Training. It develops and produce competent trained and qualified Maritime personnel for World shipping industry. 3.1 LECTURER SCIENCE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT (1 POST) 3.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. TANZANIA COTTON BOARD (TCB)

Tanzania Cotton Board is a regulatory body established under the Cotton Industry Act No. 2 of 2001 whose functions are provision of regulatory, development and promotion services to the cotton industry in Tanzania. 4.1

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT - (1 POST)

4.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Supervise preparation of bank reconciliation statements, Verify reconciled general ledger balances with subsidiary ledger balances for approval, Authenticate correctness of claims and retirements, Assist in the preparation of accounts reports, Assist maintaining fixed asset register, Assist in preparation of unit annual budget, Assist in correcting and approving internal audit query reports, Performing any other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor. 4.1.2 QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Diploma in accounting from a recognized university /institution. KIBAHA EDUCATION CENTRE (KEC)

Kibaha Education Centre is a multi-purpose Educational Institution that is located in Coast Region (Tumbi area) about 40 kilometers (24 miles) West of Dar es Salaam along Morogoro Road. This Centre started in 1963. Kibaha Education Centre (KEC) was established through Act No.17 of 1969. The overall objective of the Centre as originally conceived was, combating three enemies of development namely Poverty, Ignorance and Diseases in integrated approach. 5.1 ASSISTANT PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS OFFICER II - (1 POST) 5.1.1 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology was established by Act of Parliament, Act No. 6 of 1997. Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology is a leading in applied research and teaching institution and one of the best Eastern and Central Africa Institute of Technology.DIT is a fully accredited institution by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE). It offers a wide range of full-time, part-time and professional engineering qualifications and courses.
