A. Public Works Director1. Sewer Service ChargeImplementationPublic Works Director Brannigan presented the staff report recommending theCouncil adopt a resolution to change the date of monthly service charge increasesfor sewer rates from January 1, 2014 to July 1, 2014.A motion was made by Council member Scheel, seconded by Council memberMattina, and unanimously carried by voice vote, to adopt the proposed Resolutionand amend Resolution No. 2463 (2012) and Resolution No. 2478 (2013) providingan additional six months before the next sewer rate increase, continuing annuallythereafter through 2017.
VII. CITY COUNCIL COMMUNICATIONS:
A. Miscellaneous Reports, if any
Council member Scheel reported that the Police Department has receivedfunding from Indian Gaming Committee.Council member Parlet reported that he attended the League of California CitiesConference and reported back on some sessions attended.Council member Mattina reported that the League Conference was very helpful.
