Three specific goals: My goal as a board member is to support the objectives of the school district, which is to focus on student achievement so that we create an environment that enables all students to reach their full potential, as well as improve our academic state rating. We believe that the best approach to this is to strengthen our relationship with parents and the community so that we foster the partnership that would aid in driving results for student achievement. In addition to working to improve the academic

health of our school district, and building lasting relationships with parents and stakeholders, I would simply aim to be the voice for parents and members of our community. So many times there is a disconnect between what parents/community want and what elected officials are actually doing. I am striving to eliminate status quo, and to be the bridge and the voice for the community who knows the best approach to excellent schools.

Why me? I am a parent working on behalf of children. I have a proven track record of a student centered belief in policies that foster equity and implementing /sustaining programs and ideas that provide academic support to students so that they are motivated to strive for excellence.
