The main colour of the costume will be black as this is commonly seen in the rock genre as it connotes darkness

which reflects on the music. However to indicate the pop part of the genre, accessories and shoes may be in a different colour e.g. red or blue. An example of a costume would consist of black ripped jeans or leather skirt, with a plain top and blue or pink converses. The accessories will be trendy and mainly black and silver as these will match with the clothes. I think that the combination of trendy accessories and dark clothes will give off a good rock/pop image. I will use some props in the photoshoot and these will probably be guitars, microphones and amplifiers as these represent the pop/rock genre very well. To avoid it looking just rock, I will make sure that the costume is slightly more colourful to balance it out.
