"An honest man, the outstanding intuitionist of our age, and a primeexample of what may lie in store for anyone who dares to follow the beat of adifferent drum"
- Dr. Julian Schwinger
The ideal physicsprofessor. Utterlybrilliant and engaging,he was an inspiration.

“I find it odd when anintroduction mentions that Iplay the bongo drums itrarely finds it necessary tomention that I also dotheoretical physics. It showsthat we have more respectfor the arts than for science.” Richard Feynman
Problem with science is that a lotof people don’t find it interestingor relevant
Very neat. That time reversal signal thing could be done if a crystal mirror had a variable time delay in it so that the signal beginning is released at 2x the signal duration and the signal end is released immediately :) I entirely agree about making science fun too, right on with what Feynman was saying in his book: http://irrationaltheorist.blogspot.co...

Talk I gave at the Optical Society of America (http://www.osa.org/) in Washington, DC. It is part of a series of talks titled "The Pleasure of Finding Things Out" inspired by physicist Richard Feynman's book. The talk discusses applications of wave theory to photonics and telecommunications. Moreover, it is a journey into some interesting research topics such as writing at the tiniest of scales, to inspire young people to learn about science.
