CISA Certification Recognitions

ISACAs certifications have been recognized by government entities, major industry publications, standard bodies and major consulting groups. The lists below detail many of these recognitions. The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has awarded accreditation under ISO/IEC 17024 to the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification programs.

CISA EXAM

CISA exam is offered three (3) times a year during the months of June, September & December. The CISA exam consists of 200 multiplechoice questions that cover the five (5) job practice domains created from the most recent CISA job practice analysis www.isaca.org/cisajobpractice. The job practice analysis was developed and validated using prominent industry leaders, subject matter experts and industry practitioners. The CISA exam registration closes ~2 months prior to exam date. Register directly with ISACA www.isaca.org/certification before exam closing date. ISACA does not accept late registration under any circumstances.

Course Description

The CISA Review Class focuses exclusively on the essential areas covered in the CISA exam. This review class covers the core sections and a series of sample exam questions that provide participants with a "feel" of the format and the types of questions encountered on the CISA exam.

The CISA designation is for Information Systems professionals who have frontline experience in information systems auditing, control or security work.

Course Structure

Covers job practice domains as follows: Domain 1The Process of Auditing Information Systems Provide audit services in accordance with IT audit standards to assist the organization with protecting and controlling information systems. Domain 2Governance and Management of IT Provide assurance that the necessary leadership and organizational structures and processes are in place to achieve objectives and to support the organizations strategy. Domain 3Information Systems Acquisition, Development and Implementation Provide assurance that the practices for the acquisition, development, testing, and implementation of information systems meet the organizations strategies and objectives. Domain 4Information Systems Operations, Maintenance and Support Provide assurance that the processes for information systems operations, maintenance and support meet the organizations strategies and objectives. Domain 5Protection of Information Assets Provide assurance that the organizations security policies, standards, procedures and controls ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets. Mock Exam 4 hours simulation test.
