    Open "Portable Origin 8" and start using.

    The folder "origin_by_PP" is a sandbox that the application uses for storing met adata. (So you have to place the application in a location that has read/ write access. You cannot use the application when its location is read only - eg. a CD /DVD drive or a Read-Only network location.) You can safely delete the sandbox folder if you face a problem. The application can recreate the sandbox within a minute.
