Description Identifies the AAL2 node. Because AXC represents a single AAL2 node, the identifier is always 1.
Indicates whether BTS Parameter Modification is enabled. If disabled, no BTS related Parameter modification is supported (e.g. RNS Split) Enables AAL2 multiplexing functionality in the AXC application software. The parameter also influences the possible kinds of AAL2 user paths: if multiplexing is switched off, the AAL2 VC connection kind cannot be RTDCH nor NRTDCH (see A2UT - aal2UpUsage). AAL2 End Address of the WAM. Fixed length of 20 Octets. The A2EA uses AESA format. The Authority and Format Identifier (AFI) field of AESA is used to identify what AESA format is used.
AAL2 endpoint address (A2EA) for a signalling link. The A2EA value has to be different for each signalling link towards the WAMs and RNC. The values have to be the same as configured in the RNC. The A2EA is also required on the AXC's adjacent AAL2 node towards the RNC. AAL2 endpoint address (A2EA) for a signalling link. The A2EA value has to be different for each signalling link towards the WAMs and RNC. The values have to be the same as configured in the RNC. The A2EA is also required on the AXC's adjacent AAL2 node towards the RNC. This attribute lists all connected WAMs and it's related AAL2 destination endpoint address (A2EA). Two cases can be destinguished. 1. AAL2 Multiplexing is disabled For each AAL2 Signalling Link exactly one WAM and it's A2EA is to be specified. 2. AAL2 Multiplexing is enabled: All supported WAMs and it's related A2EA are to be specified. Maximum 5 WAMs are supported. Note that WAM 5 is not supported.
Enables or disables Performance Monitoring for the AAL2 signalling link Trail Termination Point.

Enables or disables Performance Monitoring for CPS HEC Errors for an AAL2 User Path Trail Termination Point.
Defines the usage of the AAL2 User Path. A Virtual Channel connection dedicated to AAL2 user path can carry for instance HSDPA traffic or DCH traffic or HSUPA traffic or also shared DCH-HSDPA traffic or shared HSUPAHSDPA traffic. The allowed values depend on the parameter enableAal2Multiplexing of class A2NE. Defines the maximum period of time that CPS packets with one or more octets wait before they are scheduled for transmission. CU Timer does not apply to full CPS packets. They are scheduled for transmission immediately. Associates AAL2 signalling messages to the VCC (AAL2 user path) that has been selected as the carrier for the AAL2 connection. The PID is unique for each AAL2 signalling link (A2ST, ANI). Identifies the ATM Access Profile. It is always 1.
Defines the maximum allowed egress bandwidth in cells per second for a logical ATM interface. The AXC Manager automatically sets the following values (cells/s) for each interface type: - STM-1/STS-3c: 353207 - E1/VC-12: 4528 - T1/JT1: 3622 - fractional E1: int(m*150,9434) where m = number of timeslots - fractional T1/JT1: int(m*150,9434) where m = number of timeslots - IMA E1: int[n*4528*(m-1)/m*2048/2049] where m = Tx Frame Length and n = number of IMA links in a group - IMA T1/JT1: int[n*3622*(m-1)/m*2048/2049] where m = Tx Frame Length and n = number of IMA links in a group - ATM over Ethernet: 72452

Password of the local user account. It is available only in encrypted format. Username of the local User Account. It is available only in encrypted format. Label that can be used to describe the geographical location of the network element.
Describes the major SW Release Version of the AXC. Examples are: C2.0, C2.1, C2.5, C2.6, C2.7. Label that can be used to enter the name of the network element.
This parameter activates or deactivates the unique BFD session of the AXC. Activate: if set to value true, the transmission of BFD control packets towards the remote peer is started and, in case the BFD session fails, alarms are raised. Deactivate: if set to value false, the transmission of BFD control packets towards the remote peer is stopped. Also the BTS discards every received BFD packet for a deactivated BFD instance. Moreover all active alarms related to the BFD session are cleared. The BFD session effectively does not exist at all. This parameter controls the admin state of the unique BFD session of the AXC. If set to false, the session enters the "Down" state. Only control messages with state "Admin Down" are sent to the peer. All active alarms of the BFD session are cleared. If set to true, the session leaves the "Down" state. It will reach the "Up" state if the remote peer is also in "Up" state. If the BFD session fails, alarms are raised for it.
The negotiated BFD control word transmission interval, multiplied by this parameter, provides the detection time for lost packets in the unique BFD session of the AXC. Roughly speaking bfdDetectMult is the number of BFD control packets that the AXC may lose in a row, before it shall declare the BFD session to be down. This is the naming attribute of the unique instance of the Bidirectional Forwarding Detection object class of the AXC. The value is always 1. This is the IP address to be used in Bidirectional Forwarding Detection. To be entered in dotted decimal format.
Identifies the ATM cross-connect entity in the AXC. Because the AXC represents one ATM cross-connect, the identifier is always 1. List of ATM VP or VC cross-connections between two termination points.
Identifies the instance of the VPCT or VCCT managed entity that represents one of the cross-connected CTPs. The VPCT or VCCT must be defined before creating one endpoint. A cross-connection can only be done between two VPCTs exclusive or two VCCTs. ATM cross-connections are always bi-directional. Specifies one of the connection termination points (VPCT or VCCT) of the VP or VC cross-connection that will be deleted. This attribute is used to explicitly enable (TRUE) or disable (FALSE) the usage of UBR+ in the network. If set to FALSE then the network element ingnores the parameters ingress/egress Minimum Desired Cell Rate (MDCR) and ingress/egress UBRshare in the traffic descriptors. If set to TRUE, the network element uses these parameters for handling UBR+ traffic. There are default values for MDCR and UBRshare, which are used when UBR is enabled but MDCR or UBRshare are not defined explicitly. The usage of UBR+ requires the availability of a licence. Optional label that can be used to associate a text string to a cross-connection for documentation purposes. Optional label that can be used to associate a text string to a cross-connection for documentation purposes.
This parameter enables VCC bundling for collecting extra bandwidth unused by neighbour VCCs.
Identifies CES interworking function. The object is identified by unit and interface location of the CBR interface. slot#-if# slot#: 1..6 if#: 1..16 Identifies the number of leading payload octets in the AAL-1 payload used for structured IWF interfaces. Setting the parameter to 47 disables partial fill and causes the cells to be completely filled before they are sent. Smaller values decrease delay, but require a greater bandwidth. Points to the interface that is cross-connected to the CBR interface. It can point to an ATM interface (VCTT) or, in case of pass-through configuration, to a CBR interface (PPTT IWF interface).
Defines the operation mode of the CES interworking function. CES can be operated either in structured (partial E1/T1/JT1 frames) or unstructured mode (whole E1/T1/JT1 frames). Defines a sequence of consecutive timeslots on the CES interworking (TDM) interface in structured operation. In unstructured mode the sequence is empty. When the PDH interface is E1, timeslot 16 is handled as a normal timeslot. Used to lock and unlock the interface. Locking the interface deactivates it and all alarms and any ATM cell transfer is suppressed. The local MO id is formed as "ETHLK-s#-p#" where s# is the slot number 2..6. For AXCC/AXCD the right most slot. p# is the port number [1..3]. Example "ETHLK-2-1" The ethLinkId is the "trunk" part of the LMOID, i.e. in the above example "2-1" This parameter specificies if link characteristics are autonegotiated or not. If no, the attribute contains the capacity and the duplex mode to be set forcibly. Note that 100 MBit is available only on Fast Ethernet interfaces (FE) and 1000 MBit only on the Gigabit Ethernet interface (GE). Enables or disables alarm blocking.
List of alarms that are to be blocked. Blocked alarms are not sent to NetAct.
Specifies a list of consequtive timeslots that are to be used for an ATM interface, starting from timeslot 1. The maximum number of timeslots for E1 is 31 and for T1/JT1 24. For E1, timeslot 16 is optional and can be left out if not used. The capacity for 31 timeslots is then higher (4679 cells/s) than that of a non-fractional E1 (4528 cells/s). At least one timeslot must be used. On T1/JT1 timeslot 16 cannot be excluded and at least two timeslots are required (1, 2). Fractional interfaces are only supported on IFUA and IFUD. Identifies the fractional interface of a unit. The object is identified by - unit location (slot#) - interface location (if#) Format: slot#-if# Range: slot#: 2..6 if#: 1..8

With this parameter the user can select the way how to define source two. Possible values are: ALIAS: reference to an IP source already configured in the system for other contexts SINGLE: a single IP address RANGE: a range of IP addresses given by an IP address and a subnet mask WILDCARD: any IP adress is allowed Identifies the Restricted Mode Functionality (IP-Filter).The value is always 1.
This parameter is meaningful if and only if source two is defined as RANGE; in all other cases it is ignored. "IP Subnet Mask" specifies a netmask which, when applied to "IP address for source two" yields the allowed range of IP addresses for source two. The netmask must be given as "dotted decimal" string, e.g. "255.255.255.0" This parameter is meaningful if and only if source two is defined as SINGLE or as RANGE; in all other cases it is ignored. "IP address source two" specifies a single IP address; if source two is defined as SINGLE, this is the only allowed IP address. If source two is defined as RANGE, then the allowed range of IP addresses is obtained by applying the "IP subnet mask for source two" to this IP address. The IP address must be given as "dotted decimal" string. This parameter is meaningful if and only if source two is defined by "ALIAS". In all other cases this parameter is ignored. It specifies source two by reference to a sigle IP address (or a group of IP addresses) and ports which have been defined already in another configuration scope. Referencing it with an alias name saves the user to specify it here again. Allowed values are: - RNC - NWI3_REGISTRATION_SERVER - NTP_SERVER - LDAP_SERVER Define the port(s) which will be associated to source one in this RM exception. Allowed input is EITHER "*" for all ports OR a range of ports in the form "200-280" OR a list of single ports like "15, 17, 1055". (But no combinations like "15,200-300") Lists of ports are limited to 10 ports. Port 0 must not be included in the resulting set. This parameter is ignored if source two is defined as "ALIAS". Define the port(s) which will be associated to source two in this RM exception. Allowed input is EITHER "*" for all ports OR a range of ports in the form "200-280" OR a list of single ports like "15, 17, 1055". (But no combinations like "15,200-300") Restricted mode provides protection of the mobile carriers' network against intrusion through interfaces of the Base Station, in particular the LMT. By default, all traffic to other destinations will be barred. However, from AXC C3.0 on, it is possible to configure exceptions, so that defined IP traffic will still be allowed, for example communication with an LDAP server or administration of other base stations through the LMP of the local one. This means that administration of the Restricted Mode consists in defining exceptions from the general blocking of traffic to the outside world. An RM exception is defined in terms of the near-end IP source ("source one") such as LMT, TRS, BTS and any far-end IP source ("source two"), such as a server, the RNC or a remote base station. IP sources are defined as combinations of (sets of) IP addresses and IP ports. Selects the near-end IP source for the RM Exception. Possible values are BTS, TRS and LMP

Value to be selected as percentage of the available bandwidth. ("utilization zone")
Connection Admission Control Committed Bit Rate. CAC committed bit rate is a total bit rate, which is available for guaranteed traffic at the Iub. Signalling bit rate and DCN bit rate are subtracted from the CAC committed bit rate and the rest is available for the user-plane data connections which are under transport connection admission control. Used in Iub/IP transport mode. DCN Committed Bit Rate. This parameter is only valid in case of IubIP mode.
This is the IP address to be used in the transport network at the far end of the SCTP tunnel. The address is the SCTP tunnel subnet address, i.e all its host bits must be set to 0s. It must be entered in dotted decimal format. This parameter is only valid in case of IubIP mode. The associated subnet mask is defined in parameter farEndSctpSubnetMask.
This is the subnet mask for the far end SCTP tunnel subnet IP address (parameter farEndSctpSubnetIpAddress). To be entered in dotted decimal format. This parameter is only valid in case of IubIP mode. This is is the minimum value of the port number to be used for SCTP. This parameter is only valid in case of IubIP mode. The value range is [49152 - 65529] for Ultra and [49152 - 65534] otherwise. Default value is 49152. This is is the minimum value of the port number to be used over UDP connections.
This is a the next hop IP address to reach the router for Iub/IP.
This parameter specifies the unit over which the Iub/IP traffic is carried. Value range = 1..6, the slot number of the unit, as follows: In case of AtmOverEthernet transport mode the parameter has no meaning. It references the AXU unit and has value 1. In case of IubIP transport mode the parameter references one of the IFUH units, value range = 2..6. Signalling Committed Bit Rate. This parameter is only valid in case of IubIP mode. This parameter identifies the unique object instance of the TMPAR clas. Value is always 1.

NE-RNC-<index> | NE-IADA-<index> <MOID::LocalMOID> = unique identifier of the WBTS in which the AXC is located and that belongs to the RNC or IADA. DN:NE-WBTS-<index><MOID::BaseId> and <MOID::LocalMOID> specify a unique identifier for the WBTS in the whole network. Example: WCDMA: NE|NE-RNC-123|DN:NE-WBTS-1 I-HSPA: NE|NE-IADA-123|DN:NE-WBTS-1
Specifies the acceptable variation (in microseconds) of the egress traffic over the peak cell rate and is applied to all service categories. It provides a measure of jitter in the transmitted cell pattern due to multiplexing.
Specifies the type of conformance test performed on the traffic stream by Usage Parameter Control (UPC). The AXC enforces the correspondence between conformance definition and service category. For CBR the conformance definition is CBR.1 and for UBR either UBR.1 or UBR.2. Minimum Desired Cell Rate (MDCR). Is the targeted minimum throughput of a UBR+ connection in cells per second. The parameter can be set optionally for UBR connections. The MDCR value applies to both ingress and egress traffic. Note: The MDCR cannot exceed the Peak Cell Rate. Specifies the peak cell rate (PCR) assigned or reserved in both egress and ingress directions of transmission across the VP or VC link that is terminated. The rate is given in cells per second. It cannot be greater than the line rate of the source. This parameter identifies a traffic descriptor in the AXC. The parameter type is a string. Please use numbers "6".."1024" as values. Traffic descriptors with number "1".."5" and with value "NND-UBR" are for internal use in the AXC and shall not be used for connection termination points on traffic interfaces. UBRshare allows to weight the traffic exceeding the Minim Desired Cell Rate among UBR connections that share the same ATM interface. An individual UBR connection may get at least the egress MDCR and up to egress MDCR + egressUBRshare_i / Sum(egress UBRshare_i) * egress EBW. Where egress EBW is the currently available egress bandwidth for the traffic of all the UBR connections sharing the same ATM interface. The value of UbrShare applies to both ingress and egress traffic. A string that can be used as label to describe the ATM traffic descriptor.

The default value (2 ms) is a recommended compromise between efficiency and delay.
The default value as configured by the NE when no other value is given depends on the interface type. However, in the context of ATM overbooking, other (higher) values can be configured. Re-configuration of this parameter requires deleting und re-creating the whole ACCP instance.

In case of non BTS AAL2 Multiplexing the A2EA is calculated according to the folowing rule: "49" (AFI) + 5 digits (BTS_id) + 2 digits (WAM id) + 1 digit 0(filler). The remaining digits are filled with "F".
The slot and interface, imag, klm, vpi and vci values are to be identical with the values as specified for the vcTTptr.

Values NRTDCH and RTDCH are allowed only in case multiplexing is switched on.
The relation applies for non- BTS AAL2 Multiplexing: For Iub the Path identifier for VCCs carring AAL2 traffic is calculated from BTS identifiers in the following way: btsid * 1000 + 10*wamId + AAL2 VCC count (1N)
In AXC, 13 VP/VC bits can only be used for up to 14 interfaces. With 12 bits 32 interfaces are supported. In AXC Compact, the maximum VP value is fixed to 7 bits.
In AXC, 13 VP/VC bits can only be used for up to 14 interfaces. With 12 bits 32 interfaces are supported. In AXC Compact, the maximum VP value is 5 bits, but only for one ATM interface. The other seven interfaces cannot be enabled. All eight interfaces can be taken in use with the default value of 2 bits.
The value must be identical with the value specified for cesCbrIfPointer.

The parameter Upper Layer Shaping decides if the bandwidth value of parameter Shaping Bandwidth is related only to the IP header (Upper Layer Shaping = true) or if this bandwidth also takes the ethernet overhead into account (Upper Layer Shaping = false).
Parameter Vlan ID is only relevant if parameter Vlan Enabled flag has value true.
The value must be identical with the value specified for protectingInterface.
Interface protection configuration always consists of a pair of interfaces. The protected interface is the one originally defined to carry the user traffic, and the protecting interface the one that carries the traffic in case the protected interface fails.
