Scenario: Anna on the left and Wendy on the right are both tired from a long day at school. Anna knows a short cut and discusses with Wendy, but Wendy is unsure however Anna knows she can persuade Wendy by going with her. Sound: The score music which I am to be use will be calm and relaxing as the two protagonists are walking up the pathway; it was also contrast with the dialogue being spoken by the two young girls. Cinematography: A medium shot is used to show both the girls walking out of school; Anna on the right is showing her power telling Anna we are going left instead of right. As confident as Anna is Wendy is shown to be the one who doesnt project her voice. Close ups of both characters will be used to show fear and isolation however Wendy dislikes the whole idea which will allow the audience to see the expression on her face. Mise en scene: The costumes of both characters are different to each other. Anna is shown to be in non uniform connoting she may be involved in a school play whereas Wendy who is made to look the typical young school girl in her uniform.

Scenario: Both girls are now walking up towards the pathway, according to Wendy she knows where she is going whereas Anna is still negative and unsure about going this way. Sound: A slow build up of non diegetic score music will be used to create the tension between the two protagonists with Wendy being negative, afraid whereas Anna who is confident and shows her authority. Cinematography: Shot reverse shot will be used while both characters share dialogue with one another. I will also use various close up shots showing the different expressions of the characters faces. Mise en scene: The costumes will still be the same reinforcing they are coming back from school and are taking a short cut. The lighting will be kept as low-key lighting reinforcing the themes of isolation and fear.

Scenario: Both girls come to a two way and Anna begins to question her actions she becomes slightly worried however does not show this through emotion. On the other hand Wendy is panicking and shouting at Anna and questioning Annas actions Sound: Fast paced non diegetic music which will contrast the dialogue and explore the themes of fear and isolation. Cinematography: Close up showing the reactions of both protagonists, also using a tracking shot that allows the camera to follow the protagonists walking up towards the pathway which will lead them to a peculiar place and lastly a medium wide shot showing the surroundings. This will create suspicion and mystery in the audiences mind. Mise en scene: Wendys facial expression will look to be scared and terrified as she is a nervous person. Annas facial expression will remain the same and does not change as she is one who is confident and shows authority by leading. The lighting in the scene will remain as low- key giving a mysterious effect.

Scenario: Wendy is terrified, scared as she has no idea where she is going and isnt so sure if Anna knows what she is doing. Anna is adamant that she knows the correct way to get home; she will not admit that she is wrong. Sound: Non diegetic eerie music, which will reinforce the expression on Wendys face also connoting to the audience that she is a nervous person who is terrified. The score music will be used to have a build-up showing both protagonists becoming helpless. Cinematography Extreme close ups will be used showing the emotion on the characters faces supporting the themes of fear and isolation, a wide shot showing the surroundings. This will raise questions in the audiences mind wondering what is about to happen and where could this path lead to. Mise en scene: The costumes will not have changed; the lighting is still the same supporting that the scene is still the same.

Scenario: Anna has walked up a bit more to see if there is anything she can see whereas Wendy is in the same place waiting for Anna to tell her to come however Anna walks up more and does not come back after 10 minutes. Wendy waits patiently and begins to call Annas name out consistently but there is no reply in which then Wendy walks up to find Anna has disappeared. Sound: Slow score music having a build-up as Anna is walking far ahead reinforcing Wendy being isolated and scared without no one by her side in this place where has not been before. Cinematography: A long shot showing Anna walking off, tracking shot following Anna close up shots of both characters expression showing fear and isolation. Mise en scene: The location is the key element as it as a horror look to it showing that the place is derelict. The lighting is slightly darker supporting the themes allowing the audience to give uncomfortable and tense throughout.

Scenario: The characters are now walking up the pathway; while Anna is pulling Wendy unwillingly. This shows Annas dominance over Wendy supporting that she is confident and over powering however at the same time Anna is also confused as she may have taken the wrong turn. From the surroundings it looks derelict reinforcing isolation and fear. Sound: Fast paced non diegetic music consisting of eerie music and wind allowing the audience and characters to hear the chains rattling in the wind giving a sense of fear and mystery. Cinematography: Tracking shot allowing the camera to follow the characters walking up to the pathway. A close up showing Annas expression showing confusion and dominance and one of Wendy showing that she is terrified and not confused as she has feels that where she is does not feel safe. Mise en scene: The location however is different to what the characters started off with as the pathway has leaded them to this unknown place.

Scenario: Anna has been gone for 10 minutes while Wendy has been waiting patiently however Wendy starts calling out Annas name which shows that she coming impatient now. Wendy now walks up the same pathway and tries to look for Anna. Sound: Non diegetic slow paced music having an intense build up to Wendy and the audience connoting that she is afraid. Cinematography: Shot reverse shot showing Wendys perception. Also various close ups showing Wendys facial expression allowing the audience to feel sympathetic towards her. Mise en scene: The costumes and lighting are the same as of the previous key frames above.

Scenario: Anna decides to walk up the same pathway trying to look for Anna. Wendy sees something at the corner of her eye however the first she looks to the right the hand disappears. When she looks the second time the hand reappears which is now a big problem for Wendy, as her character is nervous and she does not know what to do in this situation. Sound: Fast paced non diegetic music making the audience intense and creating mystery allowing them to question themselves of what is going to happen
Cinematography: Shot reverse shot showing Wendys perception of what is in

front of her and beside her. High angle shot showing that she is powerless and vulnerable allowing the audience to feel empathy towards her. Lastly a close up of Wendys expression connoting how isolated and scared she is. Mise en scene: The costumes and lighting are the same as of the previous key frames above however the only difference is the individual showing his hand whose costume is a jacket

Scenario: Wendy has looked to her right for the second time and has now seen this mysterious hand which worries her becoming more and more intense and she has feeling that whatever happened to Anna is about to happen to her. Sound: Fast paced non diegetic music allowing the scene to build up becoming more intense for the character and the audience. The audience will become more suspicious as they do not know what has happened to Anna and now the same thing could happen but to Wendy Cinematography: Shot reverse shot showing the perception. Another high angle shot showing she is powerless and vulnerable. Several close ups showing Wendys facial expression allowing the audience to see her expression. Mise en scene: The costumes and lighting are the same as of the previous key frames above.
