Dear friends, almost honorary citizens of Coy,

My name is Francisco Perán Albarracín, responsible for the Leisure and Free Time
Department of Iniciativas El Gigante, the company which managed the Work Camp of
Coy, in which you all took part.

In other words, I am Cristina, David and Gregorio’s “boss”. My job is to make sure
that everything is ready and right and prove it to the Youth Institute of the Region of
Murcia.

I am writing this letter to you in order to thank you for the selfless work you did in
these, your new homes: Coy and Lorca.

As you noticed during your stay in our district, we proposed a series of socio-cultural
performances. This was the first time all ages were included in the camp activities. In
previous camps (from 1982), the activities were mainly archaeological along with the
restoration of old façades.

I have to tell you that we were really keen and excited about the preparation for
this work camp and we were really willing to keep this camp working all over the
years. There was only one very important factor left: YOU, as an essential piece to
make everything we had planned happen.

The results have been absolutely fantastic, but some things can always be
improved. Therefore, we are working so that the 2010 work camp is even better than
the previous ones.

That is why I am addressing you. You, together with your 21 partners, Cristina,
David and Gregorio, Iniciativas El Gigante S.L., and the Youth Institute of Lorca Town
Council have planted a seed in order that a big tree grows up, year after year, in this
deputation of Lorca: Coy. Likewise, other young people from different parts of Spain
and other countries will have the chance to live with the residents in Coy as well.

That is why I would like to suggest to you that, in case you intend to take part in a
work camp, you look for Coy, Lorca in the official lists of your province.

Of course, as I said before, this land thirsty of water is your home and you are more
than welcome any time you want to come back.

Although we have not had much personal contact, I am here to help you in case
you need anything from Lorca or the whole Region of Murcia. If you feel ashamed,
please apply to Cristina, David or Gregorio so that all of us together can be useful.
