Jasper’s Angel
Chapter 1
“Jasper! Hey Jazzy!” Alice came bounding down the stairs.
“Hello, my dear wife.” Jasper responded. “Where is everyone?”
“Edward took Bella to the bookstore. I can’t believe it! She should be
shopping for clothes! Have I not rubbed off on her? I need to take her on
another trip! But still! She’s reading Wuthering Heights again!” Alice
babbled. “Didn’t we all read that? Oh, sure, Jazzy, it’s a little older than you
but nothing Carlisle can’t read! Just because it was published in 1847 doesn’t
mean you should be jealous of a book!” What did she just say? Jasper
thought. Who said I was jealous of a book? “And Rose and Emmett went to
the lake and I’m not going to even try to see what they are doing.” Alice
shuddered and Jasper saw her point. Rosalie and Emmett seem to have sex
every night – no wait, they are obsessed with sex.
“Ali-.” Jasper tried to cut in but Alice just kept on babbling and repeating
things, just to keep talking. Knowing it was pointless to try and interrupt
Alice, Jasper used his ability to calm Alice. When Jasper looked into Alice’s
emotions, he too began to babble like an idiot.
“Uh... Jasper? Alice? Are you alright?” someone asked from the doorway.
Edward snickered like an idiot.
Jasper began babbling about what happened. “Well, well, well, Alice, Alice
came down the stairs and then, and then, I, uh, asker, I mean, I mean asked
her where everyone was and then she said that Edward took you to the
bookstore and she started babbling about how you should be shopping for
clothes and how she didn’t rub off on you! Then she said she had to take you
on another trip and then about how you were still reading Wuthering Heights
and then about how I was supposedly jealous of a book that’s older than me.
And about how Rose and Emmett went to the lake and about not wanting to
try and see what they’re doing. And after that she kept on babbling about
random stuff that were not even related to the subject and she also repeated
things which I thought was really pointless. When I tried to get her to calm
down and I looked into her emotions, I started talking like an idiot too
because her emotions are so strong that it is controlling me! Help me, help
me, help me, help me, plea! I mean, please! Edward and Bella! HELP ME!”
Jasper said at a human speed which took forever to come out of his mouth.
“Um... wow, Jasper.” Bella stared dumbfounded at two vampires jumping
around the room talking continuously at a human pace.

“You have to get used to it, Bella.” Edward whispered.

“ARE YOU GOING TO HELP OR NOT?” Jasper screamed.
“Nothing we can do about you, Jazzy.” Edward laughed.
“What about Alice?”
“Oh.”
“NOOOO!!” Alice screamed and bounded out the door.
“Alice!” Edward yelled, beginning to run after her, slowing deliberately to
annoy Jasper.
“EDWARD!” Jasper roared.
Bella still stared at the scene in front of her then fell on the ground laughing.
Jasper, picking up her strong emotion began babbling and laughing like an
idiot.
Rose and Emmett came through the door. Rose stared. “WHAT HAPPENED?”
Bella stopped laughing momentarily. Then burst out in giggles again. “Alice.”
Laugh. “Started.” Laugh. “It!”
“Started what?” Emmett asked eagerly.
“Well.” Laugh. “Alice.” Laugh. “Was Babbling.” Laugh. Suddenly the laughing
overtook her. Jasper somehow managed to calm Bella and Alice was now out
of range of his ability. He explained to Rose and Emmett who burst out in
laughing fits.
Suddenly, Jasper started babbling again. OH no. Did that mean that Alice was
in range again? This was not good.
“I LOVE THE JONAS BROTHERS!” someone screamed out like a 7-year-old girl.
Just then, everyone realized that it was Jasper as Edward and Alice came
through the door. Everyone burst out in fits and Jasper calmed down. If he
could blush, he would have been beet red. (A/N: Once, when I was in
swimming lessons, we had to act and a ‘lifeguard’ would pull us to
the edge of the pool. This 16-year-old guy had to act like a 7-year-
old girl who loved the Jonas Brothers. He had to say things like,
“The Jonas Brothers will save me!” and “Let me go! Nick, save me!
Joe! Kevin!” It really was hilarious. He was supposed to scream at
the top of his lungs like Jasper, “I LOVE THE JONAS BROTHERS!” But
he didn’t. . I wish he did. That would have had awesome results!)
“Did I...?” Jasper asked embarrassed. Edward composed himself for the
second to nod ‘yes.’

“Oh my god! I really said I loved the Jonas Brothers? They suck!” (A/N: No
offense to JB fans. I hate them too. Sorry.)
Jasper Whitlock Cullen Hale ran humiliated out the back door followed almost
immediately by Mary Alice Brandon Whitlock Hale Cullen. “Jasper Whitlock
Cullen! Come back here!” she screeched.
“Leave me alone, Alice!” Jasper yelled back. Bella barely heard it with her
less sensitive ears.
“Never!” Alice screamed, her voice even more distinctive now.
“Oh boy.” Emmett chuckled. Suddenly he started making out with Rosalie.
“Stupid Jasper.” Rosalie muttered evilly.
Emmett suddenly straightened up. “So... what now?”
“Don’t look at me.” Bella warned, holding her hands up.
“I’m looking.” Emmett teased, turning his head.
“Ugh!” Bella said exasperated, throwing her hands up in the air.
“Don’t listen to him, Bella.” Edward soothed, taking Bella’s hands down from
the air. Then he gave Emmett a look that yelled ‘I’m gonna kill you!’
Rosalie growled and Bella, not knowing what it was about, screamed.

“No, Alice! Leave me alone!” Jasper called over his shoulder.
“No way, Jazzy! I’m not leaving y-!” Alice’s voice was suddenly cut off.
“Alice? Alice! Alice, where are you?” Jasper called.
“Stay away from me, you freak!” Jasper heard the distinct voice of Alice
scream. “Oh my gosh! What happened to your clothes? If you become good
again, I have to take you on a shopping trip to replace those! Gross!” Jasper
smiled. That sounded like Alice alright. But where was Alice?
“Alice!” Jasper called again. “Alice! Can you hear me?”
“Jasper? Yes, I can hear you! But barely!” Alice’s distinct voice sounded
again. “Why won’t you leave me alone?” she screamed again but obviously
not at Jasper. “Hey! Jas-!”
“Alice!”
(A/N: I know it’s strange for Alice to get captured but... oh, why am I
telling you?)
