President Sandra Guggino called the meeting to order at 6:07PM. Attendees Sandra Guggino, President; Alisha Pergola-Moralejo, Vice President; Kelly Verra, Secretary; Taffy Walker, Treasurer; Lisa Robbins, Communications Director; Michael Hart, Director At-Large; Gail Demeker, Sherrie Heinz, Phil Kessel, Marc Levine, John Mahoney, Cate ODowd, Brian Rice, Andrea Roshaven, Dina Vann and Danny Zigrino, Members. Absent (excused) Sherrie Moore, Business Liaison. Meeting notice was emailed to the general membership on January 4; agenda posted on Facebook and blog on January 27. 1. Members welcomed first-time attendees Gail Demeker, Marc Levine (Congregation Schaari Zedek) and Danny Zigrino. 2. Officer reports: Sandra - The Pines is the recipient of a $2,161 Hillsborough County neighborhood grant for marketing and membership initiatives; January 14 coffee meeting with Councilman Mike Suarez and Legislative Aide Lorena Hardwick provided an opportunity to discuss neighborhood concerns; several new committees are forming tonight as a result of this meeting. Alisha - funds are available with the City to beautify and maintain medians in the area. Kelly - several neighboring restaurant owners/operators are interested in hosting a culinary walking tour. Taffy - $260 in treasury; visiting financial institutions to set up an account; working on road improvements within neighborhood and surrounding areas. Lisa called on businesses along Henderson Boulevard with Sherrie; Neighbor Day date set. Michael Mayors Neighborhood University will be accepting applications for next class. 3. Upcoming events and activities: Membership Happy Hour Wednesday, March 19, tentatively at Ceviche Neighbor Day Saturday, April 26, details still to be determined

Member announcements: Cate Gasparilla Arts Festival March 1-2 at Curtis Hixon Park Sandra Kahwa giving away free coffee on Thursday, January 30, 8:00 10:00AM with Mayor Bob Buckhorn working the drive-thru window 6. Prize drawing! Gail Demeker received a gift basket from Larrys Ice Cream. Meeting adjourned at 7:40PM.
