Daily Crude oil price of Indian Basket increases marginally at US$ 106.44/bbl on 28.2.2014

Regarding international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by PPAC the price went down to US$ 106.44 per barrel (bbl) on 28.2.2014 as against US$ 106.62 per bbl on previous trading day of 27.2.2014. In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket increased marginally to Rs 6606.73 per bbl on 28.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6604.04 per bbl on 27.02.2014. This was due to price rise in dollar terms and rupee appreciation. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 62.07 per US$ on 28.02.2014 against Rs 61.94 per US$ on 27.02.2014. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket declines to 106.95 per bbl on 26.2.2014

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 106.95 per barrel (bbl) on 26.02.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 107.35per bbl on previous trading day of 25.02.2014 In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket slipped further to Rs 6624.48 per bbl on 26.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6653.55 per bbl on 25.02.2014. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms. Rupee remained unchanged at Rs 61.94 per US$ on 26.02.2014 as it prevailed on previous trading of 25.02.2014. The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down to US$ 107.35 per barrel (bbl) on 25.02.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 107.40per bbl on previous trading day of 24.02.2014 In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket declined to Rs 6653.55 per bbl on 25.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6671.69 per bbl on 24.02.2014. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 61.98 per US$ on 25.02.2014 as against Rs 62.12 per US dollar on previous trading of 24.02.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 107.54per bbl on previous trading day of 21.02.2014 In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket fell in tandem to Rs 6671.69 per bbl on 24.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6684.69 per bbl on 21.02.2014. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and rupee appreciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 62.12 per US$ on 24.02.2014 as against Rs 62.16 per US dollar on previous trading of 21.02.2014. The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas fell to US$ 107.54 per barrel (bbl) on 21.02.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 107.58 per bbl on previous trading day of 20.02.2014 In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket fell in tandem to Rs 6684.69 per bbl on 21.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6700.08 per bbl on 20.02.2014. This was due to fall in price in dollar terms and rupee appriciation. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 62.16 per US$ on 21.02.2014 as against Rs 62.28 per US dollar on previous trading of 20.02.2014. The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas rose to US$ 107.84 per barrel (bbl) on 19.02.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 107.24per bbl on previous trading day of 18.02.2014 In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6699.02 per bbl on 19.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6661.75 per bbl on 18.02.2014. This was due to price rise in dollar terms. Rupee dollar exchange at remained unchanged at weaker at Rs 62.12 per US$ on 19.02.2014 as on the preciouss trading on 18.02.2014. The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up further to US$ 107.24 per barrel (bbl) on 18.02.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 107.03 per bbl on previous trading day of 17.02.2014 In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6661.75 per bbl on 18.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6630.51 per bbl on 17.02.2014. This was due to price rise in dollar terms and rupee depreciations which absorbed to a great extend the impact of the price rise in dollar terms. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 62.12 per US$ on 18.02.2014 against Rs 61.95 per US$ on 17.02.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 106.40 per bbl on previous trading day of 14.02.2014 In rupee terms however, the price of Indian Basket increased marginally to Rs 6630.51 per bbl on 17.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6626.59 per bbl on 14.02.2014. This was due to rupee appreciation which absorbed to a great extend the impact of the price rise in dollar terms. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 61.95 per US$ on 17.02.2014 against Rs 62.28 per US$ on 14.02.2014. Daily Crude oil price of Indian Basket remains unchanged at US$ 106.40/bbl on 14.2.2014

Regarding international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by PPAC the price moved up to US$106.40 per barrel (bbl) on 14.2.2014 as against US$ 106.06 per bbl on previous trading day of 13.2.2014. In rupee terms also, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6626.59 per bbl on 14.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6604.36 per bbl on 13.02.2014. This was due to price rise in dollar terms. Rupee closed almost at same level on Rs 62.28 per US$ on 14.02.2014 against Rs 62.27 per US$ on 13.02.2014. The table below gives details in this regard

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas fell to US$ 106.06 per barrel (bbl) on 13.02.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 106.31 per bbl on previous trading day of 12.02.2014 In rupee terms however, the price of Indian Basket declined to only by a fraction Rs 6604.36 per bbl on 13.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6605.04 per bbl on 12.02.2014. This was due to rupee depreciation Rupee closed weaker atRs 62.27 per US$ on 13.02.2014 against Rs 62.13 per US$ on 12.02.2014. The table below gives details in this regard:

This was higher than the price of US$ 103.65 per bbl on previous trading day of 05.02.2014 In rupee terms, also, price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6515.63 per bbl on 06.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6472.94 per bbl on 05.02.2014. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket marginally increase at to US$ 103.65 per bbl on 05.2.2014, falls in rupee terms as Indian currency closes stronger

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has went up marginally to US$ 103.65 per barrel (bbl) on 05.02.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 103.58 per bbl on previous trading day of 04.02.2014 In rupee terms, however, price of Indian Basket declined to Rs 6472.94 per bbl on 5.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6492.39 per bbl on 04.02.2014. This was due to stronger rupee which negated the losses from price rise in dollar terms. Rupee closed at Rs 62.45 per US$ on 05.02.2014 against Rs 62.68 per US$ on 04.02.2014. Global crude oil price of Indian Basket falls sharply to US$ 103.59 per bbl on 03.2.2014

The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went down substantially to US$ 103.59 per barrel (bbl) on 3.02.2014. This was lower than the price of US$ 105.50 per bbl on previous trading day of 31.01.2014 In rupee terms also price of Indian Basket declined to Rs 6494.06 per bbl on 3.02.2014 as compared to Rs 6591.64 per bbl on 31.01.2014. This was due to decline in price in dollar terms though rupee depreciation wiped out a part of the gains. Rupee closed weaker at Rs 62.69 per US$ on 3.02.2014 against Rs 62.48 per US$ on 31.01.2014.
