If one were to ask my friends about me, they would describe me as a pleasant, diverse, active and intelligent person.

I think this is one of my most distinguishing characteristics I possess . I am a science student with a flair for technical aptitude and an interest in Management. I also have a passion for travelling and understanding different cultures of the world. All these elements have given a broad outlook with varying degrees of knowledge in range of topics. I strongly believe that all these qualities will certainly enhance my graduate work by adding new perspectives such as how International Business works, cross cultural experiences. My Engineering Degree has given me a strong foundation of analytical skills since instrumentation engineering involves a lot of complex, long, and intricate calculation and the application of advanced math skills. In todays job market, the employers always want to see whether a particular candidate has all the knowledge of how to work in a team, how the business works along with the candidates specialization in his or her subject. This made me to go for global masters in international business program as master of international business focuses on strategic planning for international operation and provides in-depth understanding of the organizational capabilities required for international operation including specialized functions such as international marketing, finance and human resource management, the three fundamental tools very essential for working of an organization .

Over the last 3 years, I have been a active member of AIESEC, the largest student run organization in the world. AIESEC is a organization that provides students international platforms to showcase leadership, chance to go for international internship in top companies like MICROSFT, ELECTROLUX, ASTON MARTIN, etc and also to go for an international volunteer internship in developing countries. Being a member of AIESEC, I had the opportunity to go for an international volunteer internship in TANZANIA, where I led 20 members of my project, TAGDEP(TANZANIA GENERATION DEVELOPMENT PIPELINE). I also managed to fundraise 80000 shillings (200 AUD) for the my project. In TAGDEP, I worked on CHILD EDUCATION , LEADERSHIP AWARNESS PROGRAMME . I organized seminar in UNIVERSITY OF DAR-ES-SALEM, the largest university in TANZANIA, gave presentation on LEADERSHIP and managed to get 10 students to work for our project. I think this is one of the greatest achievements of mine till date of having managed to work in TANZANIA, despite the hot weather and language problem. I am also the founder of NAGTARAJ KALAKENDRA, where I along with my 5 friends impart musical training to students. I founded this coaching centre based on one incident , when I was working for social club in our locality. I came across a orphaned child who once asked me if I could help him to learn dance , as he was very passionate about dancing. That incident has left me to think that there are so many children who waste their parents hard earned money, while the re are some children who wants to learn something, but dont have the platform or financial resources to do so. So I along with my 5 friends decided to teach different forms of music to students such as dance, guitar, Sarod, etc irrespective of their background. I had the opportunity to go for an summer school program in LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS, AND KINGS COLLEGE LONDON, where I did course on FINANCIAL MARKETS and STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT respectively. Doing those courses in two of the top universities in the world, I managed to bag a internship in SHANGHAI in CRCCASIA, through the recommendation of one of the alumni of LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS. The summer school course on STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT in Kings College London helped me to learn about how a companys top management tak e major initiatives on behalf of owners ,involving recourses and performance for internal and external environment. The FINANCIAL MARKETS course in LONDON SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS helped me to understand global markets in which people and entities can trade financial securities , commodities and other fungible items of value at low transaction cost and at prices that reflects current supply and demand. I think the prior knowledge of these subjects will certainly help me to understand the subjects taught in INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS better than that of other students. The professional internship in CHINA, has helped me to learn how a corporate business works , the different etiquette , and knowledge of Chinese business culture. I feel that China being a important business partner of Asia Pacific countries, this knowledge will certainly help me to share with my peers in the classroom.

One of the key achievements of mine was when I managed to increase the sales of retail outlet of BHARAT PETROLEUM, where I worked as a business executive in 3 different months during my college semester break. I did campaigning in TEMPLE MOTORS, the retail outlet of BHARAT PETROLEOUM, organized transporter meet, talked with taxi drivers , truck drivers, and surveyed them regarding the responses of the product that the pump has been selling, and realized that it was the price that concerned them. So I convinced the outlet dealer and managed to reduce the price of the lubricants (MAK LUBRICANT). This helped the outlet to increase the sales of the lubricants to 250 percent in span of 3 months. This success proved my business management skills. I think these blend of experiences have helped to foster my personal development and encouraged me to aim big in life.
