Dia 1- Friends ,let us simplify the internal capsule by drawing a simple cartoon of a face.

Dia 2- Take a white paper of 6" * 6".

Dia 3- Fold the paper vertically and horizontally dividing into 4 equal parts.

Dia- Put 4 dots 1cm inside 12,3,6,9 position.

Dia 4- Use grey colour to draw a face by connecting 4 dots of 12 , 3 , 6, 9, O clock position,leaving a gap of 0. 5 cm at 12 and 6 O clock position.

Dia 5- Draw 2 grey lines parallel to vertical fold at 12 O clock position covering the forehead representing a tilak.

Dia 6- At the lower end of the tilak draw black eyebrows keeping white gap.

Dia 7- Draw the oval grey eyes horizontally placed.

Dia 8- Draw 2 green lines representing the bridge of the nose.

Dia 9- Draw a black thick line inside these green lines.

Dia 10- Draw nostrils with grey color and a black line in the centre of the nostril.

Dia 11- Then draw black moustaches.

Dia 12- Draw a downward white curve representing the lower lip.

Dia 13 - Draw the ears by grey colour with black circle in the centre.

Dia 14- Draw grey cones between ears and nose . The base of the cone is near the ear and the apex is near the bridge of the nose.

Dia 15- Draw a black line inside the cone parallel to base dividing the cone into a larger inner part and a smaller outer part. Label the curve as" P".

Dia 16- Draw 2 curved lines outside the cones, parallel to its base. Label it as " C".

Dia - Friends, let us correlate the organs of the body with the structures of the section.

Tilak represents great longitudinal fissure. Eyebrows represent genu of the corpus callosum. Eyes represent caudate nuclei. The bridge of nose represents septum pellucidum. The nostrils represent thalami.

Moustaches represent posterior horn of lateral ventricles. Lower lip represent splenium of the corpus callosum. The area between 2 central lines of the nose indicate third ventricle. Ears represent insula. Cavities of the ears represent lateral sulcus. Cones represent lentiform nucleus. Dimple chin represents great longitudinal fissure.

Dia -Friends , now let us associate the areas which is not expressed by the organs.

Dia 17-The orbits represent anterior horns of lateral ventricle.

Dia- The black line between the green lines indicate cavity of septum pellucidum.

18- The gap between 2 central lines of nose indicate 3rd ventricle

Dia 19- The line "p" represents putamen.

Dia 20- The line " c" represents claustrum.

Dia 21 - The area on the inner side of the claustrum is external capsule.

Dia 22- and that on the outer side is extreme capsule.

Dia 23- The area between eyes and upper margins of cones represent anterior lim of the internal capsule.

Dia 24- The areas between lower margin of cones and outer margin of nostril represent the posterior lim of internal capsule.

Dia 25- The bend between anterior and posterior lim of the internal capsule is called genu.
