Why is TfL pushing for an Overground station?

Offers substantial dispersal relief to Euston 10% of HS2 passengers would use Old Oak Common instead Allows for a new interchange in west London bringing 250,000 more people within an hour of Old Oak Common, including linking to other OAs Allows greater access to HS2 for vast swathes of west, north-west and south-west London Overground station could facilitate large scale Heathrow T5 regeneration at Old Oak Common up to 20,000 more jobs
