In 2013, childrens access to mobile media devices is dramatically higher than in 2011. (Source: Zero to Eight) Kids are multi-media taskers - cramming 8 hours of media exposure into 5 hours by using more than one form of digital media at a time. Home Agreements
Discuss when and for how long it is acceptable for your child to use the digital media Agree how to treat personal information (name, address, telephone, e-mail). Discuss how to behave towards others when gaming, chatting, e-mailing or messaging (THINK acronym) Agree what type of sites and activities are OK or not OK in our family. Develop a plan for dealing with a sticky situation
