Ana H. Voss, being first duly sworn, says: 1. I am an Assistant United States Attorney and one of the attorneys for the
United States in the above action. 2. 3. The complaint in this action was filed on January 17, 2014. The summons and complaint were served on March 4, 2014, by the United
States Marshal, as set forth in the return of service contained in the Court's file. 4. More than 21 days have elapsed since that service, and no answer or other
pleading or notice of appearance has been served upon me or on the United States; accordingly, the defendant is in default in the premises, and the United States is entitled to judgment as sought in the complaint.

The amount due and owing by the defendant to the United States is: $558,076.53 $189,861.09 400.00 $ $ 195.00 $748,532.62
and this judgment will accrue interest from the date of judgment at the then legal rate. 6. On information and belief, defendant, Sean R. Nienow, is commonly so
known and is by occupation a Minnesota State Representative, a last known address of 139 Sixth Avenue, SW, Cambridge, Minnesota 55008. Plaintiff understands and believes that defendant is not an infant or incompetent person, nor does the Defense Manpower Data Center indicate that defendant is in military service or in the armed forces of the United States of America or other friendly powers. 7. This affidavit is made in compliance with Rule 55(b) of the Federal Rules
of Civil Procedure, for the purpose of requesting entry of a default judgment by the Clerk of Court, and the United States requests that the Clerk enter default judgment in this action.
