Choral Talent Grant Auditions May 8, 2014

(3:00 PM 7:00 PM)

For the 2014 2015 Academic Year

Full-time talent grants cover full tuition in addition to a stipend for books.

Audition Expectations:
1. A performance of one vocal selection (Art Song, Aria, or something students have sung in Solo and Ensemble). 2. A range assessment administered by Dr. Workman in the form of scales and vocal warm-ups. 3. A demonstration of tonal memory by successfully listening to and repeating a unique scale pattern played by Dr. Workman. 4. A performance of a basic sight-reading exercise. **Please do not sing Pop or Belt styles. If you do not know a classical song, please be prepared to sing something like America the Beautiful or the Star Spangled Banner. An accompanist will not be supplied. You may bring your own or sing A Cappella. Auditions will be held in: Building N, Room 101 FSCJ South Campus 11901 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32246
