CMA to celebrate Dhanavantri Divas on 15th October -09

As an interface on “Life Style Management through Ayurveda”
CMA is celeberating Dhanvantri Day on 15th October. Sh Satish Chandra, IAS, Hon'ble Secretary
Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Punjab. The event is being sponsored by ITFT College.
Ayurveda is a spiritual science in itself. It is believed that Ayurveda, as a branch of the Vedas, is a
stream of the knowledge passed down from generation to generation since eternity, much in
the same way as Vedic literature and the Vedic scriptures were.
Lord Dhanvantari is known as the father of Ayurveda, since he was the first divine incarnation
to impart its wisdom amongst humans.
Birth day celebration of Lord Dhanvantari, the God of health, healing and cure, is celebrated
with great enthusiasm and happy environment, by the practitioners of the Ayurveda every
year, on Dhan Teras, two days before Deepwali.
