Resetting the D-Link wireless router to the factory default settings
If you forget your D-Link router settings, you may have to reset them to the factory defaults so you
can access the configuration utility. If you don't have the router user name and password, you can't
access the security settings without resetting them to the factory defaults.

To reset your D-Link router to the factory default settings:
1. Hold the reset button on the back panel of the router for 10 seconds. All your settings will be
lost including WEP encryption information, MAC Address filtering information, and any SSID
information you have entered. The router user name and password will revert to the default of
admin as the user name and no password.

2. When you access the router utility to change the router settings from the default values, be
sure to enter admin in the User name field and leave the Password field blank.
