Action:
• Players pass and follows the pass
• Receiver takes 1st touch through Yellow Orange gate
then passes to the next player
• Begin with 1 or 2 balls
Variations:

V3) limited touches
V4) add 2-4 Limited Pressure defenders in the centre who
press the ball at each cone on pass, begin again with 2 balls

Speed Drill
Topic: Speed
Purpose: to improve running with the ball speed
Action:
• Players Speed dribble around outside of square
• Once back at their own corner they shoot to knock ball
off the cone in centre
• 1 point for team if player knocks off
Variations:
V1) Players makes Coerver® Move between each cone
V2) Touch inside each cone

Moves 1v1 Drill
Drill Topic: 1v1
Purpose: to improve decision making when to
use 1v1 to create space to pass
Action:
• 2v2
• Red Defenders passes ball across
• Attackers tries to score in either goal
• Defenders is full pressure
• If defender wins ball they can score
Variations:
V1) 3v3

Group Play Drill
Topic: Group Play
Purpose: to improve small group team play
Action:
• 4v4 or like numbers
• Score points by passing and receiving the ball in one of
the orange squares
• Defenders are not allowed in squares
Variations:
V1) Pass to team mate running into an box
60 V2) Receiver must play the ball immediately to another team
mate outside the box for a point
Coaches Tip
• Adjust numbers to make harder or easier (create overloads)
Players Tips
• Communication
• Change the Point of attack often and quickly
Practice Time:
• Remember the player on the ball relies heavily
on communication from team mates
