Office of the Commissioner of Baseball, et al,, 12-CIV-3704 (SAS) Laumann, crt al. y, National Hoc)<ey League, et aL, 12-CV-1817 (SAS) Dear Judge Scheindlin: On behalf of all defendants in the above actions, we submit this letter pursuant to the directive the Court issued during the May 8, 2014 telephonic court conference. As discussed during the conference, defendants' April 8 submissions complied with the limits set by the Court's March 27, 2014 Order and the Court's Individual Practices. In accordance with the Court's direction, the defendants have now reviewed their submissions and further streamlined the declarations and exhibits. The resulting reductions reduce the total pages of supporting materials by approximately 40% for the defendants' six sturunary judgment motions. The foregoing reflects the efforts of the defendants to reduce the overall volume of the submissions while still providing the Court with important docwnentation that defendants believe will facilitate the Court's analysis of the issues presented in the defendants' six. motions. If the foregoing is acceptable to the Cou1t, the defendants are r ared to re-file their motions five (5) business days fromH e ate the Court So Orders this letter or __ _ otherwise approves As discussed duiing the May 8 conference, defendants will Withdraw the existing submissions upon filing the revised submissions. We ask that Plaintiffs' opposition papers be due five (S) business days after defendants re-file as none of the defendants' arguments made in 2014 changed:- -- ------- 8oca Rton I BostDn I Chloego I Hong Kong I London I Los AngelH I New Orlean I New York I Nawark I Paris I Siio Paulo I Wa9hh111lon, D.C. 6613/55837-011 current/43298214v1 Case 1:12-cv-03704-SAS-MHD Document 268 Filed 05/12/14 Page 1 of 2 05/12/201'1 MON 15: 58 FAX Proskauer Honorable Shira A.
