Project Experience:
IFPA, SA: Senior Oracle Principal Consultant
March 2001 to Present
Client: Barrick Gold, North American Division, Salt Lake City, Utah
iProcurment/Purchasing, Inventory, Project Costing Technical/Functional
Consultant. I was a team member responsible for the setup, configuration of
the Oracle iProcurement/Purchasing, Inventory, and Project Costing modules
for the Pueblo Viejo Mining operations in the Dominican Republic. The
project required globalizations and localizations for the Dominican Republic
and multi-currency for the US Dollar, Canada Dollar and the Dominican Peso
and multi-lingual for Spanish and English. Additionally, I was responsible
for the data interfaces from 3rd party software for Purchasing and Project
Costing. I did the implementation in Spanish and English. The
implementation impacted processes such as Quote to Cash, Order to Cash
and Procure to Pay. I developed and presented labs covering those process
cycles.
Client: Agilysys.
Agilysys was maintaining over $5 Million dollars in ‘Return to Vendor’ credit
memos on an Excel Spreadsheets. I was tasked to build automated interfaces
from their proprietary Inventory, Sales, Procurement system, PIOS to their
proprietary payment receiving system, GetPaid and Oracle Accounts Payable,
Receivable and General Ledger. I created an interface to load Vendors as
Customers, match Vendor Invoices to Credit Memos from Accounts Payable,
AP, to Accounts Receivable, AR, to reduce vendor payments in AP and
generate Customer Invoices to vendors in AR to interface with GetPaid. I
created Auto Invoicing and Auto lockbox processes.

Project: EFTS AMSTERDAM SUPPORT. Responsible for internal training
of Oracle Staff in Amsterdam in the use of EDMS to migrate data.
Jan 2000
Project: CSES HVA PHASE II Oracle Designer 2000 Release 6.0 Evaluated
the logical and physical database design and process model of the
Michigan Child Support System after the Initial Analysis and Design
phase of the project. The legacy of the system uses a data warehouse to
store and retrieve information. The evaluation of the proposed-modeled
system was used to develop hardware and software recommendations
and produce the cost estimates for Phase II of the project. The cost
estimates were produced using the Oracle Custom Development
Methodology, CDM to show time and materials required for a successful
and timely delivery of the proposed system. Recommended that the
project use Enterprise Data Modeling System to interface external
systems to the Child Support System.
Sep 1999
Project: HUGHES IRM Migration of Data warehouse to Oracle
Applications versions 11. Responsible for the development of packages
used by EDMS to transfer data from Oracle Data warehouse to Oracle
Applications at Hughes Aircraft.

Project: BATELLE/DPS Designer 2000 100% Generation of Reports 2.5 and
Forms 4.5 for Department of Public Safety for the State of Ohio. My
ability to generate reports and Forms with the Designer 2000 tool Suite as
the Senior Consultant to Battelle allowed the client to bring their project
ahead of schedule and under projected costs. I was able to transfer to the
team members 'How To' knowledge the proved valuable and essential to
the successful completion of the project.
standardize the Meta data used by DFAS. I was the key member on the
team that built the Entity Relationship Diagram for the corporate data
model. I accomplished this by splitting the data model into manageable
subject areas. The model was loaded onto a central repository in Kansas
City and accessed via SQL*Net to allow Designer 2000 analysts and
functional members to work from various locations on the central
repository housed on a remote sever. Trained client personnel in
Designer 2000 to generate Reports 2.5, Forms 4.5 and Web server
applications.
Develop reports for the Standard Army Maintenance System, SAMS, and
Standard Army Ammunition System, SAAS, using Oracle Reports 2.0 and
Oracle RDBMS V7.0. Using the Texas Instruments IEF CASE tool to assist in
the design of the SQL statements required to run the Oracle Reports. I use
Oracle Data Browser to validate the results returned by Oracle reports.
Additionally, I have built the front end using Oracle Forms 4.0 to load data
for testing scenarios for Oracle Reports. Oracle Reports is running on a HP
9000/750 UNIX platform and SCO UNIX workstations.
As Senior Member of the software fielding team I trained the site personnel
in database modeling for Oracle Browser training and Oracle Reports 2.0
operations. Additionally, I worked at the site as a UNIX Systems
Administrator on the HP 9000 Model 750.
