Roundtrip
travel
(to
and
from
Las
Vegas
for
Miss
USA),
hotel
accommodations
and
per

diem
will
be
covered
for
the
selected
assistant/intern
by
the
Miss
Universe

Organization.
Other
incidentals
and
expenses
associated
with
this
position
are
the

responsibility
of
the
candidate.



Responsibilities:

•
Work
closely
with
VP,
PR
Director,
and
Coordinator.

•
Assist
in
coordination
of
media
opportunities
on
location.

•
Attend
media
events
and
Host
Committee
related
events
with
contestants.

•
Pitch
and
coordinate
media
opportunities
for
celebrity
judging
panels,
hosts,
pageant

contestants
and
Miss
Universe
Organization
executives.

•
Assist
in
the
writing
of
necessary
media
alerts,
tip
sheet
updates,
photo
captions
etc.

•
Interact
with
talent
(judges,
hosts
etc.).

•
Monitor
print,
television
and
internet
press
coverage.

•
Liaise
between
media,
Host
Committee
and
the
Miss
Universe
Organization.

•
Manage
media
crews
on‐location.

Qualification:

•
Proven
ability
to
prioritize,
multi‐task
and
adapt
to
a
changing
environment.

•
Strong
leadership
necessary
and
strategic
perspective.

•
Candidate
must
be
proactive
and
take
initiative.

•
Skill
in
a
second
language
a
plus.

•
Expert
in
MS
Office.

•
Working
knowledge
of
production
is
a
plus.
