INT. LUCIUS FOXS OFFICE AT WAYNE ENTERPRISES - DUSK
The glow of the setting sun shoots rays of golden light
into the glass walled office of Lucius Fox. Lucius, at
his desk, on the telephone, the conversation is heavy.
LUCIUS FOX
Choice. Are the lives we lead
dictated by the horrors that sway
us or do we choose to become the
things we have to just to survive
those horrors?
Lucius reacts to the person on the other end of the call.
LUCIUS FOX
If thats your choice, then I
choose to stand with you. Are you
back for good this time? Will this
be a league of two?
Lucius hangs up the phone, turns his chair to the setting
sun outside his office window an stares pensively.
EXT. SPACE - ANYTIME
A massive five mile wide asteroid rolls through space.
Its on a collision course with the planet. The asteroid
enters the planets atmosphere and begins to burn. Smaller
pieces break off from the whole, smoke and flames trail
behind. The asteroid hits the planet and explodes. Dirt
and debris shoot ten miles high into the sky. A giant
shock wave radiates from the impact and a rumbling roar
silences everything. Wind, smoke, dirt and debris roll
across the planet like a tsunami, devouring everything in
its path. The dirty, destructive wind reaches the cities,
buildings and structures crumble and fall. From a
distance, people on the street are seen running away from
the cloud thats coming for them. Just before the cloud
bears down on the people, a person turns around to reveal
that it is an alien, they are all aliens, and this planet
is not Earth.
INT. THE BRIDGE OF A MASSIVE WAR CLASS SPACE VESSEL -
ANYTIME
At the helm of a dimly lit bridge atop of a massive war
class space vessel half the size of a small moon, gloved
hands are surveying planets on a viewing screen set
inside a large console. The camera follows the hands up
the arms to reveal two uniformed operators. They are
aliens.

They both wear thin gold shock bands upon their heads.
The bands have a small red blinking light on the side,
the bands are worn by slaves. The thin rings have prongs
that are pushed down into the flesh of the wearer. The
operators are searching for planets to plunder of their
natural resources, they turn their attentions to the
Milky Way Galaxy. They view the planets, Pluto, Saturn,
Jupiter, Mars and then stop at Earth. The two operators
type on their console and begin receiving on screen data
about the planet. The two look at each other with regret,
this is not a job they want. They both stand at
attention. Operator #1 looks forward with sadness in his
eyes as he reports his findings.
OPERATOR #1
Sensors have detected another
planet with desired resources.
What is your will my lord?
In the half light, a hulking, muscular figure sits on a
throne. Two glowing slanted red eyes stand out in the
shadows blinking off and on. Moving closer, the large
shadowy figure rests its huge head upon an even larger
fist. The figures face looks like its made of chard
coal, battle warn, leaning brow, it wears a gold band
upon is head like a crown, it controls the shock bands.
The figure lets out a deep guttural sigh and opens its
glowing red eyes, a sizzle is heard and steam rises from
them. It is Lord Darkseid, the ruler, tyrant, warlord and
mass murderer of the hell world Apokolips. A voice of the
deepest register is heard.
DARKSEID
What of this world?
There is a quivering in the operators tone.
OPERATOR #2
It is called Earth my lord.
Darkseid has seen thousands of worlds and is almost
bothered with this information.
DARKSEID
Which Earth?
OPERATOR #2
Earth Prime my lord, The
Untouched World, protected in the
New Genesis treaty.
Darkseid could care less about the treaty.

DARKSEID
And its inhabitance?
Operator #2 is receiving more data.
OPERATOR #2
Feeding beasts: a magnitude of
species. Intelligent life: a human
population of seven billion, nine
humanoid aquatic species and a
colony of Seeker Gorillas, they
number over four hundred.
DARKSEID
Humans, is there no where in the
universe their kind has not
festered and multiplied?
(emotionless) Reduce it to rubble.
Send retrieval vessels for my ores
and my feeding beasts.
Operator #1 types on the console.
EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE SPACE VESSEL - DEEP SPACE - ASTEROID
BELT - MOMENTS LATER
A city size panel opens on the bow of the vessel. A giant
cannon extends in layers, illuminates at the tip. A wave
of humming is heard, a ten mile wide asteroid is being
pulled to the barrel of the cannon. The asteroid is
positioned at the end of the cannon, the humming stops.
The sound of a thousand winds screaming are heard. The
fabric of space tears opens into a worm hole (tube) in
front of the space vessel. Its sucking in pieces of
debris. The ship fires thrusters in the opposite
direction of the tube to prevent being sucked in.
MOMENTS LATER
DARKSEID
Level that world.
Darkseid uses asteroids as weapons of mass destruction.
Darkseids eyes illuminate brighter and steam rises from
them. With tears in his eyes, operator #1 presses a
button and the cannon is heard charging up to fire.
OPERATOR #1
Darkseid, thy will be done.

EXT. OUTSIDE OF THE SPACE VESSEL - DEEP SPACE - ASTEROID
BELT - MOMENTS LATER
The giant cannon pulses and then sends out a sonic boom
that propels the asteroid through the tube.
INT. TUBE - MOMENTS LATER
The tube is a tunnel, its filled with clouds of swirling
lights, it connects one part of the universe to another
part of the universe. It is a means of transportation by
which a being can travel great distances through space
with little travel time (a short cut in space), it is a
space bridge. Darkseid has the technology to employ
tubes and uses them as a weapon. The asteroid is
barreling through the tube on its way to Earth.
MOMENTS LATER
Operator #2 has just received another piece of data from
Earth.
OPERATOR #2
(urgent) My lord, with the tube
open to the Earths quadrant we
are receiving new readings, there
is a living Kryptonian on this
world.
Darkseid rushes out of his chair to the console, he is
ten feet tall, menacing and overshadowing. The two
operators cower away from the console. As Darkseid reads
the data his eye begin to smolder.
DARKSEID
Stop that rock!
OPERATOR #2
It can not be stopped my lord.
With one hand Darkseid grabs operator #2 by the neck and
snaps it, the operator falls. Darkseid calmly turns to
operator #1.
DARKSEID
Stop that rock.
The operator bows his head.

OPERATOR #1
My lord, once the weapon has been
deployed there is no force strong
enough to stop it.
DARKSEID
You fool! We need not stop it,
only divert it from its course.
Send a distress beacon through the
Tube. Make sure it is on a
frequency monitored by the Green
Lantern Corp.
Darkseid has a menacing smile and his eyes begin to
flame. The camera moves closer and closer into Darkseids
flaming eye.
INT. THE DAILY PLANET NEWS ROOM - DAY - MOMENTS LATER
A computer monitor on a desk is open to a news alert that
reads: Daily Planet News Wire - 600 Miners Trapped, Gold
Mine Collapse In Central Africa.
The camera turns to a desk plate that reads Kent and an
empty chair.
EXT. GOLD MINE - CLEARED AWAY JUNGLE - CENTRAL AFRICA -
MOMENTS LATER - DAY
Seen from above, a crater/sink hole 300 feet across and
six feet deep sits in the middle of a mining operation.
Massive metal machines are twisted, they chug fire and
smoke into the air. There has been a cave collapse.
Workers and family members of trapped mine workers gather
and threaten the owner of the mine. The mine owner could
care less about the trapped workers, he has armed thugs
holding back the angry crowd.
BROTHER OF MINE WORKER
(To mine owner) (angry) How are
you going to get my brother out of
there?
GREEDY MINE OWNER
Your brother? What about my gold?
EXT. THE SKY - MOMENTS LATER
Ripples of displaced air are seen, the sound of something
tearing through the sky is deafening. The crowd looks to
the sky.
7.
Superman flies in for a soft landing in the middle of the
crowd, the people spread out, some are afraid of him.
SUPERMAN
How can I help?
The crowd closes around Superman. The people point to the
crater.
This crater is one large stone.
The men hit a large vein of gold
and he (greedy mine owner) made
them dig underneath it and it fell
on them. Brothers and fathers and
sons are trapped.
Unsure of his abilities.
SUPERMAN
One rock?
They are alive, we hear banging.
The greedy mine owner approaches Superman, throws his arm
over his shoulder in a sleazy way and propositions him.
GREEDY MINE OWNER
These little people, they dont
understand great men like you and
me. Ill make you a deal, if you
go down and get my gold, well
split it. Good for me, good for
you, good for everybody.
Superman turns his x-ray vision to the ground and sees
the trapped miners 200 hundred feet below, he scans the
ground around them and the giant rock that has caused the
collapse. He then turns his eyes to the greedy gold mine
owner.
SUPERMAN
Stand aside.
Superman leaps into the air, builds up speed and arches
backwards and heads for the ground. Several hundred feet
away from the disaster site in an over grown part of the
jungle he dives into solid earth.
8.
INT. DIMLY LIT COLLAPSED MINE - MOMENTS LATER
The trapped and injured miners hear a rumbling, they cry
out, they believe its another cave in. The giant rock
that caused the collapse begins to lift up. Dust and
sunlight come from underneath the giant rock. (As seen
from the POV of the miners) A blue and red figure and
then hands and then a face is seen as the giant rock is
lifted. Superman hoists the stone on his shoulders, he
looks like Atlas from Greek mythology holding up the
world.
EXT. GOLD MINE- CLEARED AWAY JUNGLE - CENTRAL AFRICA -
MOMENTS LATER
The crater created by the collapse lifts up several feet
as Superman raises the large stone from underground. The
spectators react and back away.
INT. DIMLY LIT COLLAPSED MINE - MOMENTS LATER
SUPERMAN
Follow the light!
The miners rush past Superman and toward the tunnel he
made. The miners carry the injured and some thank
Superman as they pass him. All of the men get out of the
mine. Superman notices the gold on the wall of the mine,
he drops the rock.
EXT. GOLD MINE- CLEARED AWAY JUNGLE - CENTRAL AFRICA -
MOMENTS LATER
The crater falls in again and the onlookers scream and
react, they think there has been another collapse.
Suddenly, the freed miners run out of the jungle to their
awaiting family members.
The ground rumbles and bulges, the crowd steps back.
Superman bursts out of the ground and into the air. Hes
holding arms full of gold, he dumps the gold on the
ground. The crowd scrambles for it.
Superman then quickly snatches the guns from the mine
owners thugs and throws them down the hole he just flew
out of. The thugs look at each other and run away.
Superman steps to the greedy mine owner and looks him in
the eyes.
SUPERMAN
Good for everybody.
9.
Superman raises and eyebrow, the mine owner scowls at
him. Superman leaps into flight. The crowd screams thanks
to him as he flies off.
EXT. THE OPEN SKY OVER THE OCEAN - MOMENTS LATER
In a streak, Superman flies from the coast of Africa to
Japan. Quickly flying through time zones it goes from day
to night.
EXT. SKIES OVER A TOKYO - NIGHT - MOMENTS LATER
Superman flies over Tokyo and scans the city for
problems. He hears a womans cry and changes course.
EXT. GANGWAY BETWEEN TWO BUILDINGS - MOMENTS LATER
In a gangway, a block over from the bright lights of
Tokyo, a pimp has a knife pressed against the face of a
young prostitute. She is crying, he has her pinned
against a wall. The pimp is young Japanese hipster, he
has long spiky hair. Behind them, at the other end of the
gangway, in the darkness, Superman slowly lands in
silhouette.
PIMP
You choose, my money or your face?
PROSTITUTE
Please dont!
Superman walks from the darkness and grabs the pimp by
the top of his spiky hair and lifts him off the ground
with one hand. The pimp screams and wiggles and drops the
knife, the prostitute falls to the ground frightened and
amazed.
SUPERMAN
Are you okay?
The prostitute stands up and throws her arms around
Superman and holds on tight. Her relief quickly turns to
anger for the pimp, she lets go of Superman and begins to
beat the pimp. The pimp is defiant.
PIMP
When hes gone, your dead!
10.
Superman, turns the pimps head to face him and scowls.
Superman slaps the pimp in the face, the sound is so loud
that the prostitute winces, it carries down the gangway.
The pimp is knocked out and goes limp.
SUPERMAN
Do you live around here?
PROSTITUTE
Osaka.
SUPERMAN
Go back there, now.
The prostitute hugs him again, lets him go and is about
to walk off.
SUPERMAN
Hold on.
Superman scans the pimps pockets with x-ray vision and
then rips one open, its full of cash, he gives the money
to the prostitute.
SUPERMAN
A new life.
The prostitute nods yes and runs off. Superman cuts his
eyes down to the pimp.
INT. TOKYO EMERGENCY ROOM - MOMENTS LATER
Nurses and doctors are servicing patients. Superman walks
through double doors holding the pimp in his arms, he
lays him down on a gurney. A nurse rushes to him.
SUPERMAN
This man has a broken jaw.
Superman turns to walk away and then stops. He turns
around and walks over to the pimp.
SUPERMAN
(to the nurse) Oh yea, he also has
a burn on his chest.
Superman pushes down on a spot of the pimps jacket that
has a burn mark, the pimp cries out in pain.
SUPERMAN
Never again.
11.
Superman turns and walks off. The nurse cuts open the
pimps shirt and there is a small Superman symbol burned
into his chest.
EXT. TOKYO EMERGENCY ROOM DOORS - MOMENTS LATER
Superman considers what he just did, he sighs and then
leaps into flight.
The asteroid and distress beacon fly through the tube.
EXT. TUBE - DEEP SPACE - MOMENTS LATER
In view of the planet Saturn the fabric of space opens up
and the tube expels the asteroid and the beacon.
EXT. SEVERAL DIFFERENT ALIEN WORLDS SIMULTANEOUSLY -
MOMENTS LATER
Simultaneously on several different worlds, several
different Green Lantern rings are being signaled. Only
the ring holders hands are seen, they are of varied
forms.
EXT. THE OPEN SKY - NIGHT - MOMENTS LATER
Superman is flying at super sonic speeds, he follows the
curve of the Earth as it changes from night to day. He
flies to Metropolis.
EXT. ROOF TOP OF THE DAILY PLANET - MOMENTS LATER
Superman glides to the top of a monumental globe that
rests on top of the Daily Planet building, where he
works. In a corner of the rooftop he grabs a bundle of
clothes and changes. He puts on his glasses, they project
a slightly different image of his face, like a
holographic mask that protects his secret identity.
INT. THE DAILY PLANET NEWS ROOM - MOMENTS LATER
Clark enters the office, its frantic, people are on the
phones, screaming at each other, packing up there desks.
Clark inquires to a fellow reporter.

CLARK
Whats going on?
The reporter is stressed out and loading his bag.
STRESSED OUT REPORTER
I see youve been on one of your
extended lunches again, try
pulling your head out of your ass
Kent, its about to go down!
CLARK
Whats going down?
2012! The Mayan calender,
Nostradamus? Read a book man!
CLARK
But its 2016. - (or year
appropriate)
NASA is reporting a meteor twice
the size of the one that killed
the dinosaurs is headed for Earth.
In less than two hours, partys
over! Im going to go get laid,
then drunk, then laid again!
The reporter rushes out of the office. Clark pulls out
his phone and logs on to a Daily Planet live news feed. A
NASA scientist is talking to a crowd of reporters.
NASA SCIENTIST (ON SCREEN)
(cell phone video) We consider
this an Extinction Level Event.
Clark puts the phone in his pocket, he knows what he has
to do.
EXT. ROOF TOP OF THE DAILY PLANET - MOMENTS LATER
Clark takes off his glasses and his face looks like
Superman again. He leaps into flight, his office clothes
fall out of the air onto the roof top.
EXT. OPEN SKY - MOMENTS LATER
With pointed fists, Superman cuts through the sky, he
brakes the sound barrier. He flies so fast that the
atmosphere has begun to burn around him.
13.
He pulls away from the Earth and looks down at it like it
might be the last time he sees it.
EXT. SPACE - MOMENTS LATER
Earth is seen from a distance, a thin streak is seen
rising out of its atmosphere. Outside of the Earths
atmosphere, the streak speeds up exponentially. In space,
Superman flies at warp speeds, he blur into a phantom.
EXT. DEEP SPACE
The ten mile wide asteroid is seen rolling through space,
the distress beacon trails it.
INT. A GLOOMY BAR - GOTHAM CITY - MOMENTS LATER - DAY
The bar is full with warn down people. Two drunken
regulars toast the end of the world.
BAR FLY #1
(Irish accent) To the grand old
girl.
BAR FLY #2
(Boston accent) When its your
time, its your time.
On a TV posted high in the corner of the bar, the Pope is
leading a mass prayer. The bartender switches channels,
NASA has a live feed from the Hubble telescope showing
the asteroid speeding towards Earth. The bartender
switches channels again and network news is showing video
of Superman leaving the planet, they are getting comments
from people on the streets.
STREET PEOPLE #1 (ON SCREEN)
(sarcasm) Way to go Superman! (to
the reporter) We give that bum a
home and he jumps ship like a rat!
Sitting in a booth John Blake cuts his eyes at the TV, he
has a hard look about him. John Blake, ex Gotham police
officer, he is no longer clean cut, hes nursing a beer.
BAR FLY #2
(to the entire bar) Fairweather
freak!
The bar erupts in laughter, John Blake begins to simmer
over.

JOHN BLAKE
(to the bar fly) why dont you
have a little faith, huh?
BAR FLY #2
Sorry, I didnt know we was
drinking with the Dolly Lammer
over here! (Dali Lama)
The bar erupts in laughter again, John Blake raps both
hands around his beer and pensively looks down in it.
Superman speeds through space, he can see the asteroid in
the distance, he speeds up.
EXT. SPACE - THE BELT OF ORION - MOMENTS LATER
Several ribbons of glowing green lights converge through
The Belt Of Orion, its The Green Lantern Corps.
Superman approaches Mars, the asteroid is only a few
thousand miles away, its true sizes is revealed the
closer it gets. The Green Lanterns are flying toward the
asteroid in formation. Impact is seconds away. Superman
raises both fist in front of him, he has a determined
look on his face, he releases a guttural wail and then he
unleashes all of his fury upon the enormous asteroid. He
hits the rock off center and changes its course, debris
vomits from the impact, shock waves ripple through space,
the Green Lanterns are hit by the shock waves and it
knocks them out of formation.
EXT. TIME SQUARE - MOMENTS LATER - DAY
People are watching a NASA news feed on a jumbo screen,
NASA reports that the asteroid headed for Earth has
mysteriously changed course and will miss the planet. On
the jumbo screen, people all around the globe are seen
cheering.
INT. GLOOMY BAR - GOTHAM CITY - MOMENTS LATER
The bar cheers the news, John Blake does not, he sighs,
has a drink of beer and sits there. He knows that there
is always another fight.
15.
As the asteroid and debris spin away, an unconscious
Superman spins away with it. Hes like a bloodied rag
doll rolling through space, his knuckles are shredded,
his face is dirty and bleeding, his suit is torn in
several places. Hundreds of baseball sized pieces of
asteroid that broke from the whole continue to Earth. A
single beam of green light grabs and then envelops
Superman. One by one, green beams of light are seen
enveloping debris of the asteroid and towing them away.
EXT. THE SURFACE OF MARS - MOMENTS LATER
The surface of Mars is barren, red and rocky. Shrouded in
green light, the asteroid is deposited on the planet, the
green beams retract and the debris falls to the ground.
INT. THRONE ROOM IN DARKSEIDS PALACE - MOMENTS LATER -
NIGHT
Darkseid and his chancellor Desaad discuss the
ramifications of destroying Earth. Darkseids throne room
is massive and cold, it is in the tallest tower on
Apokolips, he has a large balcony to address the masses.
Darkseids gigantic throne is ornate, it is built from
the bones of his enemies. Sculls of every species
imaginable are fixed along the trim of the mighty chair,
both as trophies and warnings to all that come before it.
Darkseid sits upon his throne. Desaad, the chancellor is
as evil as his leader, he is the right hand of Darkseid,
thin, insect and reptilian like. Desaad views Earth on a
large console in the throne room.
DESAAD
Lord, This is Earth Prime, The
Untouched World, this will bring
war.
Darkseid responds with a calm defiance.
DARKSEID
Then let there be war, these times
of peace offer me nothing.
DESAAD
Our treaty with New Genesis and
the Alliance states that travel,
warfare or communication with
Earth Prime is strictly
prohibited.
16.
It is to remain pristine in its
knowledge of the universe.
A soldier enters the room and kneels on one knee.
SOLDIER
My lord, The Green Lanterns have
stopped the asteroid.
Desaad shoos away the soldier. Desaad compliments
Darkseid.
DESAAD
There will be no war, you are
truly the master of all you
survey.
Darkseid stands, clinches his arms behind his back and
walks to the balcony and looks out.
DARKSEID
And yet it is not enough. Ive
crushed one thousand worlds, I
will crush one thousand more,
still never coming any closer to
the true power that should be
mine.
DESAAD
The Anti Life Equation?

Darkseid describes The Anti Life Equation with a longing.
*(seen in montage) Images of alien rulers on different
worlds searching for The Anti Life Equation. Conquering,
killing, burning and destroying planets.
DARKSEID (V.O.)
Sense before the star Polaris
brightened the north sky, beings
of strength have sought to become
the thing that brings us all to
our knees, a god.
The Anti Life Equation, the power
to control a mind, a soul, a will.
It was told to me that the keeper
of this knowledge was the Codex of
Krypton. (cont.)

INT. THE CONGRESS OF KRYPTON (*HISTORY OF THE ANTI LIFE
EQUATION) - MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid stands before the congress of Krypton. Darkseid
is surrounded by Kryptonian soldiers with weapons pointed
at him. The congress is comprised of elders, scholars and
scientists. The congress looks to each other as Darkseid
speaks, they all gesture no. Darkseid is seen
grimacing.
DARKSEID (V.O.)
(cont.) First, I asked for the
equation, then I demanded it, and
before I could return with an army
to take it, Krypton had destroyed
itself. I was left to feel the
weight of regret for all days
sense. Every day, until this one.
INT. THRONE ROOM IN DARKSEIDS PALACE - MOMENTS LATER
DESAAD
But billions already kneel before
you.
Darkseid turns to Desaad.
DARKSEID
And every one of them would see my
end if given half a chance. Those
that knell before me choose my
will over death, what I seek
removes choice from the equation.
The Kryptonians cherished
knowledge above all else, they
would have found a way to protect
that which was most important. The
last Kryptonian has found a
sanctuary, treaty or not, Earth
will know Darkseid.
EXT. THE NATIONAL MALL - WASHINGTON DC - MOMENTS LATER -
DAY
Tens of thousands of people have gathered at the National
Mall in Washington DC to celebrate Earths survival. A
giant Jumbotron plays the NASA news feed.
NASA NEWS REPORTER (ON SCREEN)
Tiny asteroid particles have
caused a harmless meteor shower on
the globe.

The crowd cheers, a camera man begins filming the crowd
and it shows on the Jumbotron. The meteor shower has tiny
flaming ribbons slowly crossing the sky, the crowd
cheers, it looks like the 4th of July. A green glow can
be seen in the sky, the camera man films it.
EXT. THE PLANET APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
The sky is red and black, smoky fast moving clouds move
across it. Enormous smoke stacks rise up strait out of
the planet fueling the darkened sky. Fire pits thousands
of feet wide, blanket the planet. Its alien, industrial,
half lit. Every being there has but one task, to serve
Darkseid. Armed soldiers are posted everywhere, some have
leashed snarling attack beasts at their ready. Every
being on Apokolips was taken and enslaved by Darkseid
before he destroyed their home worlds. Everyone wears a
shock band implant on their heads.
EXT. DARKSEIDS BALCONY - MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid steps out onto his palace balcony to survey his
army. His army is made up of the finest warriors from a
thousand conquered planets, all different, fierce and
strong, they are forced to serve.
A million troops stand in formation waiting for their
orders. The tanks of Apokolips are the size of aircraft
carriers, smoking, grinding, heavily armed fortresses.
The fighter air crafts are sleek exoskeletal one man
standing type platforms. The pilot stands up in to
operate it, easy to launch and maneuver, They are piloted
by genetically enhanced, soulless clones called
Parademons, Darkseid has created millions of them.
Parademons are biological killing machines with no
ability to speak or think for themselves, they follow
Darkseids every command. Parademons carry staffs with a
laser weapon and bayonet at the tip. Desaad joins
Darkseid on the balcony.
DARKSEID
Ready my finest divisions, two
tanks and my flagship.
DESAAD
Very well my lord, do you expect a
battle?
DARKSEID
No, the Kryptonian is as weak as

Darkseid grins.
EXT. APOKOLIPS - DARKSEIDS TROOPS - MOMENTS LATER
The rank and file troops of this massive army are lined
in formation. A battle scarred commander points to two
squads, each member possessing extraordinary strength and
special abilities. He speaks with force.
BATTLE SCARRED COMMANDER
Dog Cavalry! Justifiers! You will
accompany our lord on this days
conquest, bring your weapons and
armor to ready!
Dog cavalry is Darkseids most elite fighting division,
ten soldiers, they can bring victory with little blood
shed. On their worlds they were protectors, military,
royalty, but those worlds have be destroyed by Darkseid.
One soldier in Dog Cavalry has reached his breaking
point, he cries out.
SOLDIER WITH STRETCHING ABILITY
Enough! I will not play a part in
the death of another soul!
The soldier is tall and thin, he has the ability to
stretch his body. From twenty feet away he stretches his
arm and wraps it around the neck of the commander, he
squeezes. With his other hand he stretches all five
fingers around his own head and attempts to pull off the
shock band thats embedded in his skull. Others in his
division beg him to stop, the band begins to loosen,
blood drips from the embedding wounds, he looks to his
division with reverence.
SOLDIER WITH STRETCHING ABILITY
I am free. I choose to be free.
As the last world leaves his mouth, the shock band beeps
and explodes, taking off his head, flesh flies. His
division drops their heads, his grip loosens on the
commander as his body falls.
The second division, the Justifiers laugh and mock the
dead soldier. Justifiers are Darkseids most vicious
fighting division, twelve soldiers. They a war mongers,
killers and mercenaries from harsher worlds. Dog Cavalry
and The Justifiers dont like each other and often find
themselves in skirmishes between the two divisions.
20.
EXT. THE NATIONAL MALL - WASHINGTON DC - MOMENTS LATER
A green glow lowers onto the National mall, the crowd
opens. Seven members of the Green Lantern corps touch
down on Earth cradling a broken Superman bathed in green
light. The Green Lanterns are all different species.
These Lanterns have seen many battles, some are scarred.
The crowd is stunned, some frightened, the camera man
records the Lanterns and it shows on the jumbo screen.
One Green Lantern steps forward and addresses the crowd,
she is a beautiful feline like humanoid.
AYALA
I am Ayala, Green Lantern of this
sector, we serve where we are
needed.
Some one screams from the crowd.
PERSON IN THE CROWD #1 (V.O.)
What did you do to Superman?
Ayala looks at superman.
AYALA
He stopped an asteroid and changed
the course of this worlds certain
doom.
People move close and touch Supermans injured body.
EMTs roll a gurney toward Superman. Lanterns lay him on
the gurney and EMTS wheel him away. The crowd moves in
closer to the Lanterns, they show curiosity and wonder,
they shake their hands and paws and tentacles.
One Lantern has no arms, his power ring is on a unicorn
type horn at the top of his head. A person in the crowd,
(working class Philly type) extends their hand to greet
him, the Lantern looks at the hand and then the person.
The person sees that the Lantern has no arms, shrugs his
shoulders and gives the Lantern a hardy pat on the back.
EXT. OUTSIDE THE WHITE HOUSE GATES - MOMENTS LATER
Crowds are gathered outside the White House gates waiving
flags and celebrating. A strong wind blows through the
crowd, a tube opens. The wind increases, people are
falling over, some people run. Red flames and black smoke
rise from the top of the opening. The tube is several
hundred feet wide.
21.
INT. AMBULANCE - MOMENTS LATER
An EMT cleans Supermans bloody face, she then puts an
oxygen mask on him.
EXT. AMBULANCE - MOMENTS LATER
Headed to the hospital, the streets are littered with
people and abandoned cars, the ambulance is moving very
slow.
EMT
(to EMT driver) Does this guy even
breath oxygen?
The sound of grinding and clanking is heard coming from
the tube. The Secret Service and armed personnel run out
of the White House and create a parameter on the White
House lawn. A giant tank type vehicle the size of an air
craft carrier rolls out of the worm hole and onto the
White House lawn it has multiple cannon turrets on top of
it. Armed White House personnel opens fire. Marines
posted on the roof of the White House fire anti air craft
missiles, the tank stops rolling. When the dust settles,
its revealed that the missiles did no damage to the
vehicle. The grinding and clanking sound is heard coming
from the tube again, another tank rolls out and flanks
the first tank. People take cell phone video.
EXT. DARKSEIDS FLAG SHIP - MOMENTS LATER
A tank twice as large as the other tanks begin to push
its way out of the tube. It looks like a battleship on
tank wheels. Standing on the deck, at the edge of the bow
is Darkseid, his arms clinched behind him. On the ground,
two soldier division hop out of the flag ship with
weapons in hand, Dog cavalry and the Justifiers flank the
vessel in tight formation. The armed White House staff
looks at each other, they dont know what to make of it,
they back up. In Darkseids hand he holds a small device,
he presses a button on it and the worm hole closes. The
device is called a Mother Box, it controls the worm
holes. Desaad approaches Darkseid monitoring a GPS
device.
22.
DESAAD
The Kryptonian is near.
DARKSEID
Let them fetch my prize.
Desaad transmits Supermans location to the troops.
Desaad pushes a tiny pea sized comlink in his ear, all of
Darkseids troops wear one.
DESAAD
Retrieve the specimen!
Dog Cavalry and the Justifiers spring into action, some
fly off, some run. Along the way the Justifiers randomly
hurt people and cause destruction. Desaad and Darkseid
look out on to Washington DC.
DESAAD
A search of this worlds data
stream says that this, is one of
Earths greatest cities of
monument.
Darkseid stares out.
DARKSEID
And now it will serve as a
monument to destruction.
Darkseid nods his head and gives the go ahead.
The two smaller tanks rev up and head for the White
House, smash into it Monster Trucks style, reducing it
to ruble.
EXT. THE STREETS OF WASHINGTON DC - MOMENTS LATER
The two tanks turn direction and head for other
monuments, they crush everything they encounter,
buildings, people, cars. They are clearing the way for
Darkseid. Darkseids flagship slowly rolls like a parade
float towards the direction of Superman.
EXT. THE NATIONAL MALL - WASHINGTON DC - MOMENTS LATER
Simultaneously, the Green Lanterns rings illuminate
alerting them of trouble, they take flight.
23.
People are celebrating, no one is watching TV. John Blake
glances over at the screen and sees the devastation. He
jumps out of his seat and pushes his way to the TV. The
TV shows Darkseid, Blake runs out the door.
EXT. THE CAPITAL BUILDING - WASHINGTON DC - MOMENTS LATER
- SUNSET
The two tanks fire on the Capital Building, they destroy
it. The Green Lanterns flying over head descend on the
tanks and open fire. The Lanterns fire rapid staccato
laser blasts from their rings.
INT. TANK - MOMENTS LATER
Inside the control center of one of the tanks, a wall of
circuits explode and a console is not responding, a
gunner barks out for assistance.
GUNNER
Toyman! My weapon is offline!
A creature of short stature is strapped into a seat at
the back of the control room, he is asleep, he isnt
affected by the sounds of battle, he has seen many, the
fight does not concern him, the gunner calls again.
GUNNER
Toyman! My weapon!
Toyman wakes, sighs and unstraps himself. The gunner
screams and pounds on the console. Toyman approaches and
mocks the gunner.
TOYMAN
Hit it again, perhaps that will
help.
The gunner grabs Toyman by the collar, Toyman is no
stranger to abuse, he doesnt except it but its his
normal. Toyman was a genius mechanic and inventer, now a
slave. With a diagnostic device in hand, Toyman scans the
console.
TOYMAN
This weapon is jammed at the
source.
Toyman points upward. The gunner pushes him to the floor.
24.
GUNNER
Then go fix it!
Toyman picks himself up and grabs his satchel of tools.
EXT. TOP OF TANK - MOMENTS LATER
Toyman is on top of the massive tank, its jerking and
firing the other working cannons, the Lanterns are firing
on the tank. Toyman dodges Lantern blasts, he gets to the
weapons turret and hides behind it.
EXT. THE STREETS OF WASHINGTON DC - MOMENTS LATER -
SUNSET
The alien soldiers with GPS devices are zeroing in on
Supermans location.
The leader of Dog Cavalry, Diana, the former princess of
the dead planet Themyscira flies over cars, her back is
scarred from whippings, despite her lifes outcome, she
believes in good. She carries a sword and a lasso that is
equipped with taser capabilities. On each wrist she wears
indestructible Themyscirian gauntlets of royalty, they
can never be removed.
She is flanked by The Martian, a shape shifter and
telepath. Once a leader in his planets armed forces. In
phantom form he can enter the body of others.
At his side in flight, Cyborg, the soul survivor of a
horrific machine/organics hybridization program that
Darkseid sanctioned. Darkseid wanted to build an army of
soldiers with the intuition of a living creature and the
cold unfeeling, armor and weaponry of a machine.
Thousands perished during these experiments. Cyborg is
now mostly machine, almost every part of his body
contains a concealed weapon or tool, he flies by way of
hover technology.
Racing through cars and people at lightening speeds is a
red blur, he calls himself The Flash, hes young and
arrogant, he has the ability to run at almost light
speeds, hes used for retrieval and reconnaissance
missions.
With GPS in hand, The Aquatic (Aqua Man) is an amphibian,
he is best suited for battles on water worlds but is
formidable on any Touraine, his hands are webbed, his
skin is pale blue, eyes large and gills on the back of
his neck.
25.
In water hes lethal but chooses to never take a life
unless necessary, he can communicate with all higher
aquatic life forms, he fights with a retractable trident
with blaster capabilities (the staff of the trident
retracts to half size for holstering, he carries it in a
back holster when retracted). Several other members of
Dog Cavalry have scattered throughout the city.
Members of the Justifiers crush their way through the
same streets. With genius level intelligence, Grodd, a
huge telepathic gorilla, curiously resembling Earths
Bigfoot takes pleasure in scaring humans, he carries a
portable laser cannon strapped to his back.
Grundy, a twelve foot tall hulking albino, Cro-Magnon,
half-wit with an explosive temper uses brut strength to
turn over cars and toss them about.
With thorned club in had, Barda, born on Apokolips, bread
for war, flies low, searching. Shes a killer, she
believes there is no honor in being a slave.
Devil ray, an assassin from a world of assassins, he
would be a killer even if he wasnt forced to. He wears a
full helmet and respirator at all times, the respirator
allows him to breath in any atmosphere, even water. The
sound of the respirator is chilling, he carries multiple
guns and poisonous projectile darts. Other members of the
squad have fanned out in their search.
With his GPS , Grodd pinpoints Supermans location. He
snarls,
GRODD
The Kryptonian, is here!
Grodd and Grundy attack the ambulance in an animal style
frenzy. Grodd rips the driver out the ambulance window
and sticks the GPS type device to his skin, it reads
negative, Grodd tosses him fifty feet away into a car
windshield. Grundy rips the roof off of the ambulance.
Grodd jumps in the vehicle and puts the device to the
EMTs skin, it reads negative. Grundy throws the EMT one
hundred feet in the air. Diana, flying overhead swoops in
and catches her, she glides to the ground and drops her.
Grodd puts the device to Supermans skin, it reads
positive. Grodd makes excited gorilla sounds. He picks
Superman up and holds him over his head and roars. Grundy
beats the hood of the ambulance in celebration.
26.
Flying, Barda grabs Superman by his cape and flies off
with him, Superman is still unconscious.
EXT. TOP OF TANK - MOMENTS LATER
Toyman is still hiding. The Green Lanterns are winning
the battle, the tanks are heavily damaged. Toyman pokes
his head out from hiding to see Darksieds flag ship
slowly approaching.
TOYMAN
(to himself) Here comes trouble.
EXT. SKY ABOVE THE TANKS - MOMENTS LATER
GREEN LANTERN #1
Focus your blasts on the bridge of
that vessel!
The Lanterns all aim at the bridge of the giant tank that
Toyman is hiding on, they increase the assault. The
bridge explodes rocking the entire vehicle, Toyman is
shaken, he knows that the rest of the tank is sure to be
destroyed, with tool bag, he looks over the side of the
tank and sees a tree twenty feet down, he jumps into the
top of it, shimmies down it and hides behind it. The tank
explodes.
Standing at the bow, Darkseids flag ship slowly
advances. Desaad stands behind him.
DESAAD
They must be the Green Lanterns
that stopped the asteroid.
The Lanterns are firing on the second tank and it
explodes. Desaad is worried.
DESAAD
They will be upon us next my lord!
Darkseid shows no concern.
DARKSEID
This will make for fine sport.
Fifty U.S. Military helicopters fly in and descend on the
flag ship and fire missiles and guns.
27.
Desaad runs into the vessel, Darkseid doesnt budge,
missiles are exploding all around him. One hundred police
cars and countless military vehicles loaded with soldiers
rush in and surround the massive machine.
Dog Cavalry and the Justifiers are returning to the flag
ship, they join the battle. Barda tosses Superman onto
the deck of the flagship, his limp body rolls to
Darkseid. Darkseid uses his foot to stop Supermans
rolling body, he rests one boot on Supermans chest and
looks down at him, hes pleased.
DARKSEID
My prize.
The Lantern advance on Darkseid, Grundy begins picking up
arriving police cars filled with officers and hurling
them into the air as Grodd fires on them with his laser
cannon, they look like mid air exploding projectiles.
Barda is smashing the tail rudders on helicopters with
her club, they are crashing into each other and hitting
the ground and exploding. Diana grabs helicopters by the
landing gear, drags them to the ground without taking any
lives. The Martian shape shifts into a giant, snarling
twenty foot tall alien monster to scare people away,
soldiers run from him. Devil Ray is killing
indiscriminately. Cyborg fires electromagnetic pulses at
in coming military vehicles, frying their circuits and
rendering them inoperable. Darkseid is sparkling with
bullets ricocheting off him.
DARKSEID
(calmly) Annihilate them!
Like an old pirate ship, hundreds of panels open on the
sides of the flag ship, large projectile, sonic and laser
weapons of many sorts open fire on all who appose
Darkseid. Turrets by the dozens raise up out of the deck
and begin firing laser blasts at the helicopters and the
Green Lanterns. Dozens of helicopters explode in air and
drop to the ground. Police and military vehicles are
rained upon by flaming helicopters as they are blown up
themselves. In seconds, every vehicle on the ground or
air has been destroyed, hundreds are dead or screaming
out in pain. The sound of suffering and agony are being
heard by an unconscious Superman, still under Darkseids
boot, he wakes. The laser turrets then turn all fire
power to the Lanterns and although they have force fields
around them, they are overwhelmed, one by one they fall
and hit the ground in front of the flag ship. Darkseid
raises a fist and the firing weapons stop on a dime. The
Justifiers and the Dog Cavalry surrounds the Green
Lanterns, Grundy beats them while they lay wounded.
28.
Ayala is unconscious. Darkseid looks down from his ship
and mocks them.
DARKSEID
Are you not the Green Lantern
Corps, emissaries of will? Would
you like to see the power of my
will?
The red light on Darkseids control band brightens, he
gives Dog Cavalry a glare and they begin to quiver, their
shock bands are activated. There is defiance in the eyes
of Dog Cavalry, then pain, blood begins to flow from
their noses, the shock bands on their heads begin to
smoke. The pain becomes too much, Dog Cavalry knows what
Darkseid wants, they raises their weapons. Cyborgs hand
transforms into a laser cannon, he fires it into the face
of a Green Lantern, its skull splatters. With tears in
her eyes, Diana grabs another Lantern and snaps his neck,
she cries out. The Aquatic pushes his trident through a
Lanterns chest. Justifiers laugh, The Martian fazes into
the body of another Green Lantern and fazes back out,
tearing out the screaming soul. The Flash pummels a
Lantern with blinding fists until blood flies and the
Lantern is reduced to mush. Dog Cavalrys shock bands
turn off and they collapse to their knees.
DARKSEID
Finish them.
Barda raises her club to smash Ayala, Ayala wakes up in
time to see the club falling towards her, she raises her
ring and it collides with the club. Ayala gets off one
blast at close range, the blow back tosses both of them
in separate directions. Ayala is thrown into the tree
that Toyman is hiding behind, her Green Lantern ring is
smashed, sparks fly from it. Barda is thrown into the
air. Under Darkseids boot, Superman wakes up, he sees
this behemoth standing on him. Superman grabs Darkseids
boot and throws it off of him, Darkseid stumbles
backwards and hits a cannon turret, the Mother Box flies
out of his hand. Stunned, he has never encountered a
Kyptonian with such strength. Superman gets on his feet,
looks around and there is destruction and death
everywhere, hes confused. He turns to Darkseid who is
approaching him with clenched fists. The two step to one
another, like Greco Roman wrestling, they grab each
other. Superman gets behind Darkseid, raps his arms
around his massive waist and power slams him backwards.
Superman gets from under Darkseid and climbs on his chest
and begins to punch him in the face. Barda gets control
of herself midair, sees Darkseid being attacked and she
rushes to his aid. Taking punch after punch, pieces of
Darkseids face chips.
29.
Darkseids control band shatters, at the same time, all
of the shock bands on the Justifiers and Dog Cavalry
power down. At that moment Barda has reached the deck of
the ship and crashes her club into the back of Supermans
skull, he collapses face down. Darkseid gets up, his face
has a hairline crack exposing his red hot molten insides.
Barda sees the band break and cries out to her fellow
soldiers.
BARDA
We are free! The demons chain has
been broken!
She drops her club and pulls the shock band out of her
skull. Blood drips down her face. She throws it at
Darkseids feet as she hovers over the deck.
BARDA
Never more!
They all drop their weapons and pull their shock bands
out of their skulls. Devil Ray flips his helmet forward
and removes his band, never showing his face but exposing
the back of his alien skull. A look of freedom washes
over the aliens, Grodd roars and beats his chest, Grundy
is confused, he holds the shock band in his hands and
stares at the thing that has hurt him for so long.
GRUNDY
Grundy free?
The look of question on his face turns to anger, he looks
up to Darkseid, throws down the band and rushes the flag
ship, he climbs up the side, Grodd follows. Diana and the
Martian take flight towards Darkseid.
DIANA
Kill the beast!
Cyborg, The Aquatic and Devil Ray join hands. Cyborg
lifts them up to the deck of the ship. The Flash runs
vertically up the side of the vessel, they confront
Darkseid.
GRODD
Did you think we would be on your
leash forever?
DARKSEID
On a leash is where you belong.
They attack Darkseid. Curious, The Martian hovers to the
Kryptonian, he places his hand on Supermans head.
30.
Images and memories begin to flash through the mind of
The Martian. Diana calls to him.
CYBORG
Martian! Rip out his soul!
The Martian takes his hand off Superman and glides over
the attackers, he stretches his arms out like a cross and
fazes down through the crowd into Darkseid, he quickly
fazes back out in agonizing pain, he sees flashes of
Darkseids thoughts.
MARTIAN
There is no soul to be taken!
The Martian erratically flies off the ship and hits the
ground. Desaad returns to the deck and sees the mutiny,
he notices the Mother Box only feet from the fight, he
grabs it, points it toward the White House and opens a
tube (in a there and back trip you must enter and exit
the tube at the same point). Grodd notices Desaad and
slaps the Mother box out of his hand, it flies overboard
and lands in the grass near the tree where Toyman is
hiding.
EXT. TREE - MOMENTS LATER
Toyman is struggling to get his shock band off and sees
the Mother Box and the damaged Green Lantern ring on
Ayalas unconscious hand. Toyman looks to see if anyone
notices, he grabs The Mother Box and pulls the ring from
Ayalas finger, the green glow surrounding her
dissipates.
On the streets, other members of Dog Cavalry and
Justifiers rip their shock bands off. They run away, some
fly off with the backdrop of a setting sun. Some open man
hole covers and take to the sewers, they scatter fast.
The leave bloody shock bands laying in the streets.
Desaad lies bloody on the floor, the attack on Darkseid
continues. The aliens dog pile on top of Darkseid and it
appears he is defeated when red glow illuminates under
the attackers, it grows brighter. A red burst of energy
explodes from under the attackers, sending them hurling
in all directions off the vessel and to the ground.
31.
The blast comes from Darkseids eyes. He stands up, hes
amused, he enjoyed the fight.
DARKSEID
Like underlings at my feet.
Darkseid continues to blast his beam at his attackers,
they all fall from the sky and hit the ground in pain.
Eyes tightly clinched, Toyman cowers behind the tree.
TOYMAN
Not the Omega Beam.
Darkseids Omega Beam has the power to teleport or
disintegrate a being. Toyman opens his eyes, looks to
Ayala laying there lifeless, he sighs, he doesnt want to
be a hero but he knows he must get her out of harms way.
Toyman runs from behind the tree, grabs her by the arm
and drags her to his hiding spot.
Darkseids flag ship tank backs up and heads for the
tube. Darkseid stands at attention at the bow of the
deck, Superman lies face down at his feet. The flag ship
rolls towards the White House and goes through the tube
and it closes behind him.
The remaining members of The Justifiers and Dog Cavalry
lay on the ground dazed from the Omega Beam. They help
each other up and gather their weapons. Cyborg flies
hundreds of feet straight up in the air, hovers and views
the area 360 degrees with his mechanical eye, he focuses
in on the statue of Abraham Lincoln at the Lincoln
Memorial and then spots troops racing to their location.
He drops to the ground on one knee.
CYBORG
Darkseid is gone but human
reinforcements are in route.
Devil Ray pulls out two laser pistols from the holsters
and looks at them.
DEVIL RAY
And death is their destination
32.
The other members of the Justifiers raise there weapons
and agree with battle cries. The Martian steps in.
MARTIAN
We are not at war with this world,
we must leave. Aerials (the
members with the ability of
flight) take a hand!
The Justifiers are disappointed. Members who cant fly
raise their hands. The members that can fly grab the
raised the hands of the non flying members and carries
them off. The Flash runs off at blurring speeds. Flash
hears a voice call to him.
TOYMAN
Flash! Comeback!
The Flash hears a familiar voice, he stops running, he
skids twenty feet before coming to a stop.
TOYMAN
Comeback!
The Flash runs back and finds Toyman and Ayala behind the
tree. The Flash looks down at Toyman.
THE FLASH
What are you doing here?
TOYMAN
(facetious) Conquering worlds.
Pick us up and take us with you.
The Flash sees Ayala.
THE FLASH
She is not one of us.
TOYMAN
She is not one of them (human).
Flash understands. Back up military vehicles descend on
them, The Flash throws Toyman and Ayala over his
shoulders and zips off so fast it appears as if they just
disappeared into thin air.
33.
The military personnel get out of their vehicles and look
around but see nothing. The sun sets, the alien refugees
have vanished.
INT. DARKSEIDS FLAG SHIP - MOMENTS LATER
Darkseids flag ship is traveling through the worm hole.
Darkseid carries an unconscious Superman over his
shoulder into a jailing facility onboard the ship.
Darkseid tosses him on the floor and gives him a moments
thought, hes curious about his strength, Darkseid cuts
his smoking eyes at the guards.
DARKSEID
Restrain him... with everything.
EXT. DARK ROAD IN THE MIDDLE OF A WOODED AREA - LATER
THAT NIGHT
The Aerials lower team members to the ground. With his
mechanical eye in Night vision, Cyborg scans the sky.
CYBORG
We have not been followed.
The others look around at this strange world. Barda taps
the comlink in her ear and calls to The Flash.
BARDA
Flash, what has your
reconnaissance revealed?
The Flash comes out of hyper speed and stops in her face,
wind blows her hair back. He has Toyman and Ayala over
his shoulders.
THE FLASH
Long range comlink is down, gone
with the relay ship. Ive canvased
one hundred square clicks, this
area has no power, no weapons or
communication centers, this is the
place to make base.
Grodd approaches like an angry gorilla.
GRODD
What is that Green Lantern doing
here? You fool, we will have the
entire corps to deal with!
Flash puts Toyman down, Toyman talks up to Grodd.
34.
TOYMAN
Shes hurt!
Grodd gets on all fours and lowers his gorilla like face
with huge teeth to see eye to eye with Toyman.
GRODD
Would you like to join her?
Toyman scowls. The Aquatic extends his trident between
the two of them. Toyman looks to the rest of them.
TOYMAN
Her power ring is destroyed, shes
hurt and alone, shes one of us
now.
CYBORG
This is no time to debate, let us
find food, shelter.
Grundy rubs his stomach.
GRUNDY
Grundy want food.
They start walking and pass a road sign that reads,
Pennsylvania Amish Community.
Several suspicious men in black suits search the site of
the battle between Darkseid and his soldiers, they find
the bloodied, disposed shock bands and put them in a
brief case.
INT. NIGHTWINGS HEADQUARTERS - ABANDONED DRAINAGE
CHAMBER BENEATH AN EMPTY RESERVOIR - MOMENTS LATER -
NIGHT
In an sealed off, dimly lit cement walled abandoned
drainage chamber beneath a decommissioned reservoir, John
Blake is surrounded by a wall of video screens he uses to
monitor Gotham City. A blacked out Tumbler sits in the
middle of the room, extra suits, gear and workout
machines are everywhere. A bed, flat screen and living
amenities fill a corner, along with metal storage shelves
filled with stacks of money.

Video of the assault on the White House and Washington DC
plays on every screen, he watches news footage of
Darkseids flagship leave through the worm hole, the
footage was filmed from far away.
ON SCREEN NEWS REPORT (V.O.)
After the attack on the White
House and the Capital building the
alien terrorist fled through some
sort of extra dimensional doorway,
a satellite search of the planet
shows no signs of the vessels. As
reported earlier the president and
first family remain safe in a
secret location.
Blake hacks into D.C. traffic system and accesses better
footage. The video shows a group of alien soldiers
fighting with Darkseid.
BLAKE
Alien on alien violence? Nice to
know that humans havent cornered
the market on bashing each others
heads in.
Blake considers.
BLAKE
Is the enemy of Earths enemy a
friend?
Blake notices a glitch in the video, he rewinds it and
slows it down and then freezes a frame. Blake sees the
blur of a form. The monitor has touch screen technology,
he pinches and expands the image to make it larger, he
taps the tool bar and a drop down menu appears, he taps
an option titled SPECTRUM. He taps the first option
Infrared, the image on the screen changes color but
appears the same. He taps Microwave, Radio, X-
ray,Ultraviolet, the result is the same, the image
only changes color. Blake taps the option Gamma and the
image on the screen turns almost white with brightness,
the blur in the image is giving of Gamma radiation. He
accesses satellite images over the northern hemisphere,
applies a Gamma filter and it shows the blur streaking
all over the globe leaving traces (appearing as hundreds
of dots on his screen) of Gamma radiation everywhere it
goes. Blake talks to the screen.

EXT. AMISH VILLAGE - PENNSYLVANIA - THE FOLLOWING DAY
The alien refugees have commandeered an amish community.
Grodd is using his telepathic abilities of mind control
to subdue the Amish villagers. He has them pulling him
around their village in one of their buggies as if he
were an emperor. Their eyes look empty, they have no will
of their own. Diana and Toyman watch while sitting on the
ground with their backs against a tree as Grodd passes.
TOYMAN
(to Grodd) They are not your
slaves.
Grodd winks one eye at Toyman, and for an instant Toyman
is under Grodds mind control. Grodd makes Toyman stand
up and dance like a jester would, Diana makes him stop.
DIANA
Grodd!
Grodd releases Toyman from his control, Toyman shakes it
off and gives Grodd a glare, Grodd returns a sinister
smile. Barda and Grundy have an entire horse on a
roasting spit cooking, Grundy turns the roasting spit.
The Aquatic is drinking a glass of milk, Devil Ray is
standing next to him and points to a cow, indicating that
it was the source of the white fluid, the Aquatic throws
up and Devil Ray laughs. The Martian is meditating,
hovering several feet off the ground. Confused, Cyborg is
holding a chicken, he stretches out its wing and then
gently tosses it into the air, he doesnt know a chicken
is a flightless bird.
The Flash blurs into the village kicking up dirt. He has
two half eaten turkey drumsticks in one hand and hes
also carrying several boxes of pizzas. Diana stands up to
meet him. The Flash is disgusted by the roasting horse.
DIANA
(to The Flash) Report?
INT. BARN IN THE AMISH VILLAGE - MOMENTS LATER
Ayala wakes up in a pile of hay, she angry.
EXT. BARN - MOMENTS LATER
Ayala kicks open the barn doors and comes out with her
ring hand extended, she points it at the aliens. Ayala
doesnt know that she isnt wearing her ring.

AYALA
Under codes set forth by the
Guardians of the planet Oa, for
the attack of this world and the
slaughter of members of the Green
Lantern Corps, you are all under
arrest!
The Justifiers erupt with laughter. Ayala jerks her arm
as she would to make her ring fire, nothing happens, she
repeats and still nothing, she sees that her ring is
gone. The Justifiers laugh even more. Dog Cavalry are not
amused, they are ashamed of what they did. Grundy
imitates Ayala, he pretends to have a power ring.
GRUNDY
Me Grundy, me Green Lantern, you
break code.
Ayala runs to Barda and takes a swing at her. Barda
easily neutralizes Ayala and pushes her to the ground.
Barda swings her club at Ayala. With her sword, Diana
blocks the club, Barda scowls at her.
DIANA
Have you not seen enough blood?
Barda walks away, Ayala looks up at Diana.
AYALA
You killed Lanterns!
With regret and strength Diana replies.
DIANA
Its true, I have extinguished the
light of many. Until today, I was
not given a choice. This day I
choose not to kill.
Diana extends her hand to Help Ayala from the ground,
Ayala considers and then takes her hand.
EXT. THE DESSERT - MOMENTS LATER
A convoy of blacked out SUVs speeds down an empty dessert
road. The convoy pulls up to a lone tree in the middle of
the dessert. The back window rolls down, a womans hand
waves a badge in front of the tree. A panel on tree opens
to a screen that reads Voice Print Required.

The screen now reads Amanda Waller, AREA 56 Security
Clearance - Alpha 1. The dessert floor opens up, there
is a ramp leading down, the convoy drives down it. The
ramp raises behind them and the dessert floor looks
undisturbed.
INT. WAR ROOM - INSIDE OF A SECRET UNDERGROUND U.S.
GOVERNMENT INSTALLATION - MOMENTS LATER
In a war room filled with screens, people monitor the
planet. The camera follows a woman walking, Dr. Amanda
Waller, head of the nations U.B.R.D, Ultra Black Research
and Development projects. If the government has a secret,
she would be the keeper of that secret, Dr. Waller
reports only to the president. Waller walks to a radar
(type) station, a separate screen next to it plays the
same traffic light footage John Blake viewed of
Darkseids soldiers attacking him, she stands over the
operator.
DR. WALLER
You better tell me something.
A nervous operator briefs her on the developments.
OPERATOR #3
Well, weve just discovered that
one of the terrorists is giving
off sub atomic levels of Gamma
Radiation. It can be tracked,
but...
DR. WALLER
Dont you give me but! I cant
go back to the president and tell
him that roughly two dozen heavily
armed aggressive aliens are loose
and unchecked.
OPERATOR #3
It doesnt stay still long enough
to get a fix. By our calculations,
this alien has traveled over
thirty thousand miles in the last
five hours.
He shows her the screen with illuminated lines covering
the Earths surface. The alien is The Flash.
OPERATOR #3
Its been all over the globe.
She sighs, gives it some thought and has an idea.

DR. WALLER
Lets take it by the numbers.
Figure out how many places this
thing has been more than once.
The operator is feverishly typing.
Dr. Waller speaks to the entire room.
DR. WALLER
And can somebody get me the
whereabouts of our self anointed
messiah in red and blue?
EXT. DARKSEIDS PALACE - MOMENTS LATER
Darkseids flag ship lands outside of his palace.
Darkseid exits his ship with a new control band on his
head. Desaad and soldiers follow him carrying Superman
over their heads. Superman is strapped to a large metal
crucifix. He is bound at the feet, hands, neck and waist
by all manners of shackles, chains, leg stocks and
electronic restraints. He is unconscious, armed guards
point their weapons at him as they walk on.
DARKSEID
Take him for assimilation.
INT. NIGHTWINGS HEADQUARTERS - MOMENTS LATER
A computer is running a program to locate The Flash.
Blake is in the background working on the Tumbler.
EXT. AMISH VILLAGE - MOMENTS LATER
AYALA
(to Diana) Where is my ring?
Toyman hands Ayala the damaged power ring.
TOYMAN
Your ring was damaged and until
you are a Lantern again, you are
one of us, a refugee.
Ayala slips on her ring and tries to fire it, the ring
hisses and sparks, she takes it off. With a mouth full of
food, The Flash reports to Diana.

THE FLASH
The food in the boxes is called
Pizza. I took it from a feeding
facility in a place called Time
Square, (puzzled) though I
detected no temporal anomalies.
Diana is irritated.
DIANA
Flash! Their weapons, their armed
forces?
Flash stuffs his face with food.
THE FLASH
This planet has vast armies and
weapons of mass destruction, until
yesterday it appears that they
only waged war against themselves.
The Martian, still hovering, glides over to Diana and
opens his eyes.
MARTIAN
(to Diana) It is true, I have read
the minds of these villagers.
DIANA
Flash, have you found a suitable
location for a permanent camp?
The Martian lowers his feet to the ground.
MARTIAN
We must find a human. Before the
Kryptonian was taken I joined with
his mind. His single thought was
of this man.
Flash raises an eyebrow.
THE FLASH
Perhaps the man is his life
companion. From what Ive learned
about the people here, its quite
common. Remember Belios four? (a
planet of asexual beings)
Diana, Toyman and Ayala react as if they understand what
Flash means.

MARTIAN
He is not his life companion. The
Kryptonian believed this man was
the keeper of a powerful weapon. I
have been trying to reach him
telepathically. Our fates depends
on this human.
DIANA
How is this so?
The Martian blankly stares.
MARTIAN
When I fazed into Darkseid I read
his thoughts as well. He is
searching for something he
believes the Kryptonian possesses,
when Darkseid realizes that the
Kryptonian does not have what he
seeks, he will return to this
place and do what he does best,
destroy.
Ayala steps forward.
AYALA
How do we find this human?
MARTIAN
The Kryptonians mind is powerful
and filled with well kept secrets,
this mans name was hidden even in
his own mind.
I have discovered from reading the
minds of these people that most
humans are connected by only a few
degrees of separation, that is to
say that they are all connected.
Perhaps, if I were exposed to a
larger population, there would be
a greater chance of my mind
linking the one we seek.
THE FLASH
If we traveled to a larger city?
The Martian responds with confidence.
MARTIAN
I could hunt this man down.
The Flash looks the Martian and Diana up and down and
then takes off running.

He returns seconds later with clothes, shoes and a large
book. The Flash has raided the Amishs closets for
clothes for himself and Diana to wear.
THE FLASH
(to Diana) Put these clothes on,
we will walk amongst the humans.
Flash holds open a book and shows The Martian a picture.
THE FLASH
This is a person of importance.
His likeness is everywhere.
Its revealed to the camera that the book is the bible
and The Martian shape shifts into the classical version
of Jesus. Flash looks The Martian up and down and says to
him with confidence.
THE FLASH
The humans will not know the
difference.
Diana calls for everyone to gather, she explains the
plan.
DIANA
Darkseid is returning to destroy
this planet. There is a human with
a weapon that can save us all. We
must locate him.
A few Justifiers scoff at the idea, Grundy mocks.
GRUNDY
Human save Grundy? Human no save
human!
DIANA
If we help this world, perhaps we
would be aloud to start anew,
here.
Some consider.
GRODD
After we destroy Darkseid, then we
take this world?
The Martian looks like Jesus.
MARTIAN
This world is not ours to take.

Grodd scowls and shows his huge teeth.
DIANA
Those among us who can pass for
human will go into the cities to
search.
The Flash changes in a instant into Amish farming
clothes. Diana leaves to change in the barn.
CYBORG
Im going with you.
The Flash gives him the once over.
THE FLASH
On this planet, you resemble a
machine that dispenses cold
beverages in small metal
containers.
CYBORG
In camouflage mood, my armor can
imitate anything my optics have
recorded.
Cyborg scans through images in his hybrid computer brain
then tiny light projectors all over his armor create a
full body hologram of Abraham Lincoln. Diana returns
wearing an Amish dress and bonnet. Grodd has returned to
his buggy, at each side there is an extremely plain Amish
woman sitting next to him.
DIANA
No one leaves this village.
With sarcasm.
GRODD
Why would we leave? We have food,
shelter, and the finest women
Earth has to offer.
Grodd raps his arms around the Amish women. Diana turns
to The Aquatic.
DIANA
See to it that these people come
to no harm.
The Aquatic looks to the Justifiers and understands. The
Martian, Cyborg and Diana take flight as Abraham Lincoln,
an Amish woman and Jesus Christ. Flash takes off in a
cloud of dust. Toyman approaches Ayala.

TOYMAN
Lets take a look at that ring.
INT. WAR ROOM - INSIDE OF A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECRET
INSTALLATION - MOMENTS LATER
The operator has tracked down the alien camp.
OPERATOR #3
Doctor!
Dr. Waller rushes to the operator.
OPERATOR #3
The target is on the move, but, it
has been to two locations more
than three times, Times Square New
York and an Amish separatist
village in Pennsylvania.
DR. WALLER
Get on the line with Groom Lake, I
want the Aurora aircraft topside
in five minutes, were going to
Pennsylvania!
Dr. Waller addresses the room as she briskly walks out.
DR. WALLER
Lets go people you know the drill!
Waller walks out. Operator #3 adresses to the room.
OPERATOR #3
You heard the lady! I want level
five containment gear and weapons,
if we cant catchem, we killem!
INT. ASSIMILATION ROOM - APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
In a dim room, the blood from different species covers
metal walls. There is a table with alien medical
utensils, shock bands and fluid stained rags. Still
unconscious, Superman is chained to the crucifix which is
now posted to the wall several feet off the ground. A
thin, ten foot tall alien doctor is trying to force the
metal prongs of the shock band down into Supermans flesh
but his skin cant be penetrated, the prongs bend. The
doctor turns to a guard.
45.
ALIEN DOCTOR
Alert lord Darkseid we have a
problem.
A SIRI type voice is heard.
SIRI TYPE VOICE
Target acquired.
Suited up as Nightwing, Blake steps to the computer.
Theres a blinking GPS dot on the screen. He slips on a
flip top helmet.
BLAKE
Aliens? Its always something!
INT. NIGHTWINGS HELMET - MOMENTS LATER
The inside of the helmet is a virtual command center. It
has a Thermal, Sonar and Night vision viewer, digital
binoculars and targeting cross hairs.
He wears a utility belt with multiple pockets filled with
gadgets and weapons. On each thigh is a holster holding
steel retractable fighting staff. On each bicep is a
holster holding a retractable baton. He wears forearm
gauntlets with utility pockets filled with more weapons.
On his back is a streamlined backpack, its a retracted
glider. The glider extends when deployed and folds back
when disabled. Nightwing taps the comlink on the side of
his helmet, a SIRI type beep is heard.
NIGHTWING
Transmit coordinates to mobile,
plot a root off the main highways,
we dont want to get pulled over
in Jerkwater U.S.A..
SIRI TYPE VOICE
Vehicles on your mark. You are
clear for exit.
Nightwing climbs in the Tumbler and drives through a long
tunnel lit with red lights, a large metal plate opens at
the end of it and he drives out.
46.
EXT. DECOMMISSIONED RESERVOIR - MOMENTS LATER
The Tumbler drives through a decommissioned reservoir.
INT. ABANDONED RUSTED OUT FACTORY - GOTHAM - MOMENTS
LATER
At the same time in another part of Gotham, the floor of
an abandoned factory on the outskirts of town opens up
and another, slightly different blacked out Tumbler rolls
out and roars off.
EXT. BACK ROAD - MOMENTS LATER
Racing down an old back road outside of Gotham, Tumbler
#1 is joined by Tumbler #2.
INT. SMALL TOWN COP CAR - MOMENTS LATER - SUNDOWN
Hiding behind a large road sign, a cop sitting in his car
holds up a radar gun and clocks the two vehicles at 120
miles an hour, he cuts on his sirens and gives chase.
INT. TUMBLER #2 - MOMENTS LATER
Inside Tumbler #2 the computer has detected the police
car and the screen flashes Disable.
EXT. TUMBLER #2 - MOMENTS LATER
A bright EMP flash comes from the back of Tumbler #2, the
cop car shuts down completely.
EXT. THE DESSERT - MOMENTS LATER - SUNSET
The ground opens up and a platform lifts up out of the
sand carrying Dr. Waller, Operator #3 and a few of her
team members, they are armed and wearing tactical gear.
The Aurora aircraft is touching down, it has hover
technology. The Aurora aircraft is a top secret airplane,
it can reach speeds of four thousand miles an hour.
Aurora is a black triangle with three illuminated
electromagnetic pulse engines on the bottom. Waller and
her team get on board, Aurora vertically lifts off, then
goes to four thousand miles per hour in a millisecond.
47.
INT. AURORA AIRCRAFT - MOMENTS LATER
Dr. Waller leaves the cockpit and addresses her team.
DR. WALLER
These E.T.s are as dangerous as
the Kryptonians. The president
wants them taken alive, I do not
hold subscription to such
illusion.
EXT. THE STREETS OF WEST PHILADELPHIA - MOMENTS LATER -
SUNSET
Cyborg, the Martian, Flash and Diana walk down a busy
street in a West Philly, Abraham Lincoln, Jesus Christ
and two Amish people. They believe their disguises are
working. The people on the street show varied reactions
from laughter to concern.
WEST PHILLY PERSON
Oh hell no!
They pass a large Baptist church, the Martian stops.
MARTIAN
This is a place of gathering.
He feels something, The Martian opens the church doors.
Its a lively Black church.
EXT. EMPTY FIELD - RURAL PENNSYLVANIA - MOMENTS LATER -
SUNSET
The Aurora aircraft touches down in a field near the
Amish village, Dr. Waller and team exit and Aurora flies
away. They get in next level vehicles and drive off
followed by assault choppers.
EXT. BACK ROAD - RURAL AREA - MOMENTS LATER
Tumbler #1 and #2 speed down a back road.
INT. HALLWAY - DARKSEIDS PALACE - MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid and guards walk down a long hallway, they carry
a large green stone.
48.
The Aquatic, Ayala and Toyman sit on the edge of a stoned
lined water well. Grodd is in his buggy, Barda and Grundy
are feasting on the roasted horse and Devil Ray is seated
on a bench cleaning his guns.
INT. ASSAULT VEHICLE - MOMENTS LATER
Outside of the village
COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER
Picking up Communicator signals.
DR. WALLER
Fry them.
EXT. ASSAULT VEHICLE - MOMENTS LATER
A parabolic dish pokes out of the window and hums.
The comlinks in the aliens ears short circuits and they
pull them out. To protect them, Aquatic pushes Toyman and
Ayala into the well then dives in as well.
GRODD
We have been found out!
Grodd stands up in his buggy and roars, several taser
darts hit him in the chest. Grodd grabs his laser cannon
from his back and shoot down a chopper then collapses to
the ground. The Amish are no longer under the control of
Grodd and run off. Several assault vehicles flood into
the village, special forces jump out firing laser and
conventional weapons. Grundy and Barda rush the vehicles,
turning them over. Devil Ray kills several soldiers with
his poisonous darts. Another chopper flies in, Grundy
rips tires off the overturned vehicles and throws them at
the choppers propellers, bringing it crashing to the
ground. Barda clubs soldiers to death.
INT. LARGE BAPTIST CHURCH - MOMENTS LATER
The churchgoers turn around to see the Martian as Jesus.
MARTIAN
I am looking for one good man!
49.
The Martian lifts off the ground and glides to the
pulpit, the preacher stands aside, the other aliens wait
at the door. The churchgoers faint, swoon and praise. The
Martian extends his hand.
EXT. ASSAULT VEHICLE - MOMENTS LATER
Dr. Waller hangs back.
DR. WALLER
Take this place off the map!
Rocket launchers and cannons raise from the assault
vehicles and fire everything and destroys every structure
standing.
INT. WELL - MOMENTS LATER
Inside the well, The Aquatic, Ayala and Toyman are
submerged under water, The Aquatic takes turns breathing
air into Ayala and Toymans mouths, the gills on the back
of his neck can be seen. The three see fire above them.
Barda calls to her team.
BARDA
Justifiers, a hand!
Grundy and Devil Ray raise their hands and Barda grabs
them and flies the three of them away. The vehicles move
in, Grodd lays on the ground unconscious.
MARTIAN
Take my hand.
An old Black women takes the Martians hand and others
taker her hand. He closes his eyes and images race
through his mind. The Martian opens his eyes.
With weapons drawn, Dr. Waller and her team approach the
burning village on foot.
50.
Dr. Waller Stands over the water well and looks down in
it, she sees still dark water, Grodd lays close by.
Operator #3 approaches and examines Grodd.
OPERATOR #3
You were right, Sasquatch are an
alien species, this proves it.
Dr. Waller looks to the sky where the Justifiers fled.
DR. WALLER
Great, weve got new and old
aliens to worry about.
Dr. Waller looks down at Grodd, disgusted, she kicks him.
DR. WALLER
I want this thing facedown,
shackled and sedated until we get
back to The Farm.
(The Farm is where Dr. Wallers base of operations).
Soldiers shackle Grodd, injects him with sedatives and
drags him into a transport truck.
The aliens stay submerged in the well.
The Martian lets go of the churchgoers hands.
MARTIAN
(to churchgoers) Bless you all.
The Martian flies back to the double doors and his team.
MARTIAN
(to team) These people were once
enslaved as we were, (puzzled) and
yet they hold no ill will towards
those who would oppress them.
There is much to be learned of
this world. We grow closer, let us
find another gathering.
The Martian takes to the skies, the others follow and
Flash zips off. Churchgoers faint.

EXT. CHAMBER OF THE GUARDIANS - PLANET OA - GREEN LANTERN
HOME WORLD - MOMENTS LATER - NIGHT
Three Green Lanterns of different species report to the
Guardians Oa.
GREEN LANTERN #2
We have retrieved six of our seven
Lanterns, all dead.
Looking down from high on a perch a Guardian enquires.
GUARDIAN
And the unaccounted?
GREEN LANTERN #3
Her ring is offline and we believe
she is no more.
The guardians consider.
INT. ASSIMILATION ROOM - APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid has the green stone in hand, he steps to
Superman and speaks in his ear.
DARKSEID
Kryptonian, this is the voice of
your master, arise.
Superman gains conciseness. Superman tries to get out of
his restraints, he cant. He coughs, chokes and then
vomits on himself. The stone that Darkseid has in his
hand is Kryptonite, its making Superman sick and
weakened. Neither Darkseid nor Superman realize that the
stone is poisonous to Superman. Darkseid takes a step
away from Superman and looks at him with disgust.
DARKSEID
I come to you bearing gifts. And
what I ask for is a gift in
return.
Darkseid holds the rock up to Supermans face. Superman
can see green vapors coming from the stone.
DARKSEID
This is a piece of Krypton I
salvaged after its fall, perhaps
all you will ever see of it.
Superman turns his head and winces.

SUPERMAN
You keep it!
Darkseid sits the rock down.
DARKSEID
I also offer you a long life... as
a slave.
SUPERMAN
Tempting!
Superman looks around the room.
SUPERMAN
How long have I been here?
DARKSEID
A day, a year, a moment, it
matters no more. Your time is my
time, and I am everlasting.
SUPERMAN
What do you want from me?
DARKSEID
What Ive scoured countless
galaxies in search of, The Anti
Life Equation.
Superman has a puzzled look on his face.
SUPERMAN
Pal, I dont even know what youre
talking about!
Darkseid steps closer.
DARKSEID
It is the source of your strength,
is it not? I have been informed by
my lessors that your flesh cannot
be breached, I have never known of
a Kryptonian with such attributes,
The Anti Life Equation is
powerful, and you have obviously
employed it.
(wanting) Is it tangible, a
machine, an elixir, a thought
perhaps? Could I hold it in my
hands?

SUPERMAN
Sounds like youre jonesing pretty
hard for this thing so just let me
down and Ill give you exactly
what you need.
Darkseid cuts his steaming eyes at Superman.
DARKSEID
You will reveal its secrets.
Darkseid watches sweat roll down Supermans face.
Darkseid places the shock band on Supermans head and
pushes the prongs into his skin. Superman cries out in
pain and drops his head, blood runs down his face.
SUPERMAN
Who are you?
DARKSEID
Darkseid, destroyer of worlds. You
will soon know this to be true.
DARKSEID
(to the doctor) Move him to my
private inquisition chamber and
see to it that the stone is his
constant companion, a reminder
that he has already lost one home.
Darkseid exits.
EXT. AMISH VILLAGE - MOMENTS LATER - NIGHT
Tumbler #1 and #2 arrive at the Amish village soon after
Dr. Wallers team leaves. Nightwing exits Tumbler #1,
scans the area and taps the comlink on his helmet.
NIGHTWING
Give me a ten mile search.
INT. NIGHTWINGS HELMET POV - MOMENTS LATER
He switches the visuals in his visor to thermal imaging.
SIRI TYPE VOICE

then looks down.

Thermal imaging shows three hot objects in the water. He
pulls a small flashlight from his utility belt and
flashes it down the well. Just below the waters surface,
he sees eye shine, reflection from The Aquatics eyes.
The sound of an energy weapon charging can be heard.
Inside Nightwings helmet he makes a questioned face.
Suddenly, an energy blast comes up out of the well, flies
straight into the night sky shooting water into the air,
Nightwing falls back and reaches for his belt, pulls out
a small smoke bomb and quickly throws it down the well.
The blast comes from The Aquatics trident, he fires a
second time. Thick smoke fills he well.
Nightwing taps his comlink.
NIGHTWING
Defensive positions, force lethal!
SIRI TYPE VOICE
Affirmative.
Both Tumblers pull in front of Nightwing and aim weapons
at the mouth of the well. Tumbler #2 raises its top
mounted cannons and points it at the well. Nightwing
cautiously moves to the well.
NIGHTWING
Im not here to fight!
Still submerged, The Aquatic looks to Toyman. Toyman
doesnt know what to do, shrugs his shoulders.
NIGHTWING
The enemy of my enemy is my
friend. My enemy is the thing you
fought.
55.
Nightwing lowers a cable from Tumbler #1 into the well.
The three grab the cable.
EXT. TUMBLER #1 - MOMENTS LATER
Nightwing activates the pulley cable and pulls the aliens
from the well. First Toyman climbs out wet with his bag
across his chest and clumsily falls to the ground. Next,
The Aquatic, with trident in hand, he extends his free
hand to Toyman and helps him from the ground. Last, Ayala
springs from the well and perches on the lip of it next
to The Aquatic and Toyman.
THE AQUATIC
We are the enemy of your enemy.
Nightwing taps his comlink.
NIGHTWING
Vehicles stand down.
Tumbler #2 lowers it cannon.
SIRI TYPE VOICE
Emergency vehicles two miles and
closing.
The aliens look at the Tumbler.
NIGHTWING
Come with me if you want to
survive. Two in that vehicle
(Tumbler #2) and one with me.
The top of the Tumblers open up, Nightwing climes in
Tumbler #1, The Aquatic and Toyman climb in Tumbler #2
and tit closes. Ayala is still perched on the well, in
one day she has gone from protector to refugee and now
fugitive, she is hesitant. Nightwing pokes his head up
out of the vehicle.

One mile and closing.
NIGHTWING
You coming?
Ayala leaps from the well like a cat into the vehicle.
The Tumbler closes and both vehicles roar off.
Nightwing appears on a video screen.
NIGHTWING
We are headed somewhere safe.
Ayala watches Nightwing.
NIGHTWING
(to computer) All vehicles stealth
mode!
EXT. DARK COUNTRY ROAD - MOMENTS LATER
The Tumblers go completely black and run silent.
EXT. CENTRAL PARK - NEW YORK - NIGHT
Thousands mourn the devastation of Washington DC. Still
disguised, The Martian, Diana, Flash and Cyborg touch
down in the darkness outside of the crowd. A jumbotron
plays images of the president, Superman, the asteroid
andThe destruction of the White House. National guard mix
through the crowd. The aliens watch from behind a tree.
MARTIAN
We are the cause of this.
DIANA
Have you never considered the
damaged weve caused?
The Martian grabs his head and drops to one knee.
MARTIAN
So much pain!

CYBORG
There is a way to dull the hurt.
The camera follows Cyborgs arm up to his face, he has
changed his camouflage to look like the president.
CYBORG
(as the president) they follow
this man, I will offer them hope.
Diana looks at her clothes.
DIANA
Flash, commandeer a more
appropriate attire.
The Flash zips off and returns with regular clothing.
THE FLASH
(to Diana) Your leg.
Diana rolls her eyes and sighs, she slightly lifts one
leg and then the other. The Flash has changed her clothes
in fraction of a second. He changes his clothes. The
Martian is still on one knee. Diana leads them.
DIANA
(to Aquatic) Whatever methods you
used to suppress your feelings for
the victims of our previous
assaults you will engage now. You
will take the form of the
Kryptonian and move among these
people.
The Martian composes his self and takes Supermans form.
MARTIAN
Forgive me, the human mind is so
loud, I will learn to control it.
DIANA
We make one pass for information
and then regroup there.
Diana points at the Empire State Building.
INT. ASSAULT VEHICLE - MOMENTS LATER
Dr. Waller and team speed down a freeway followed by a
string of armored vehicle. Waller is on the phone
explaining to the president.

DR. WALLER
I am aware of the optics Mr.
President.
Operator #3 sticks a cell phone in her face, it shows a
live news feed from Central Park, it shows the president
and Superman shaking hands with people in the crowd.
DR. WALLER
Mr. President, are you still
located at Safe House Magnus One?
Because Im watching something
that looks like you on a feed
coming out of New York City. Sir,
I will have to get back to you.
Waller hangs up the phone.
DR. WALLER
(to Operator #3) who do we have on
the ground in the NYC?
OPERATOR #3
The National Guard is on site.
DR. WALLER
Advise command to create a soft
perimeter around the pretender
and chief. Make sure Superman is
made aware of the situation, we
could use some backup.
Dr. Waller gets on her phone.
DR. WALLER
Aurora on my 20 in three minutes.
She hangs up the phone.
EXT. CENTRAL PARK - NEW YORK - MOMENTS LATER
Separately, Diana and The Flash canvas the crowd. Cyborg
walks among the people as the president, people gather
around him.
CYBORG
(to the crowd) We will get through
this together.
People chant.
CHANTING CROWD.
U.S.A!

A national guardsmen whispers into his walkie talkie,
other guardsmen receive the message and move closer to
Cyborg(appearing as the president). On the other side of
the gathering The Martian (appearing as Superman) moves
through the crowd, shaking hands, being touched. Every
time he has contact with someone he reads their mind, he
has split second glimpses of thousands of images.
Through the images The Martian has located the man they
have been looking for, it shows in his eyes. The Martian
(as Superman) is about to take flight when a heavy hand
lands on his shoulder.
DR. WALLER
Put us down in that park!
EXT. CENTRAL PARK - NEW YORK - MOMENTS LATER
With his hand on Supermans shoulder a guardsmen whispers
in his ear that they have orders to take down the
president. The Martian walks toward Cyborg (appearing as
the president). The Martian is followed by dozens of
National Guard. The crowd is still chanting. As Superman,
The Martian approaches Cyborg (the president) and
whispers to him.
MARTIAN
Your choice of camouflage has
betrayed you.
Cyborg looks at the soldiers. The crowd surrounds
Superman and the president. One hundred feet away Aurora
touches down. Dr. Waller and team rush out. Waller yells
into her radio.
DR. WALLER
Move in!
Superman and the president (The Martian and Cyborg) look
to Aurora and Dr. Waller and then to the National Guard
closing in on them. With a look to each other, they know
what to do. The two move with the flow of the crowd and
transform into regular people and blend in. The
National Guard and Dr. Waller loose sight of them.
Diana, Cyborg and The Martian take flight from different
parts of the gathering, it immediately catches the
attention of Dr. Waller and her team.
DR. WALLER
(to her team) Back on board!

The three aliens fly toward the Empire State Building,
the Aurora Aircraft gives chases. Flash removes his Human
clothes and takes off for the building.
EXT. THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING - MOMENTS LATER
Flash runs up the side of the building to the spire, he
hangs off of it and looks for the others.
Following Cyborg, Waller looks out the cockpit. He
switches camouflage to match the night sky and vanishes.
Waller scans the sky and catches sight of Diana.
DR. WALLER
(to the pilot) There! (to her
team) Get me the Disabler!
Someone tosses Waller the Disabler, its a shotgun that
fires multiple taser darts.
EXT. AURORA AIRCRAFT - MOMENTS LATER
The hatch on Aurora partially opens and Dr. Waller sticks
the gun out of it and fires her weapon. Multiple taser
darts hit Diana in the face and shoulder, electricity
flies off the darts. Diana falls from the sky. Still in
camouflage, Cyborg flies in to catch her, he appears as
an optical distortion across the night sky. Cyborg
catches Diana and covers her in his cloak, they vanish.
PILOT #1
Target is out of sight!
Frustrated, Dr. Waller tosses the gun to a team member.
Operator #3 is on his laptop.
OPERATOR #3
We have a Gamma hit, its on top
of the Empire State Building?
DR. WALLER
(to the pilot) Move!

Aurora flies to the top of the Empire State Building and
hovers. The Flash hangs off the buildings spire. Aurora
moves nose to nose with The Flash, he looks inside the
aircraft and Waller stares back.
High above the building, The Martian taps his comlink.
MARTIAN
Flash, take them for a ride.
THE FLASH (V.O.)
Affirmative.
EXT. AURORA AIRCRAFT - MORNING
Flash hops on top of Aurora and taunts Waller.
Through the cockpit window Flash gestures to go down.
Flash jumps off of Aurora and back onto the building and
then circularly runs down it stoping at the sidewalk.
Amazed Dr. Waller and team look down through the cockpit
window. On the ground Flash waves up to them.
DR. WALLER
(to pilot) Get him!
EXT. THE STREETS OF NEW YORK CITY - MOMENTS LATER
Aurora quickly descends to the street. Bystanders are
stunned, Flash takes off running. At a slow fifty miles
per hour, Flash lures the aircraft away. Aurora follows
as Flash runs through the streets of New York. Flash
turns corner after corner, slowly speeding up, he runs
over the Brooklyn Bridge and then through Time Square.
People on the streets fill a mystery wind from The
Flash and Aurora speeding through the city. Flash heads
for the highway and picks up speed.

Operator #3 is tracking The Flash on his laptop.
OPERATOR #3
The alien just jumped to one
hundred miles per hour!
EXT. HIGHWAY LEAVING NEW YORK CITY - MOMENTS LATER
The aircraft matches speeds with The Flash.
Monitoring on the laptop.
OPERATOR #3
Four hundred, seven hundred!
Flash looks to see that hes still being followed.
OPERATOR #3
Two thousand miles per hour!
PILOT #1
He cant outrun this ship!
The Flash blurs past everything.
OPERATOR #3
Three thousand miles per hour!
Flash taps his comlink.
THE FLASH
Martian, this airship could be of
use to us.

Running protocol Tired Man on
your location in two minutes, make
that one.
Passing through cities in the blink of an eye, Flash
circles back to New York. Flash pulls out ahead of the
ship and returns to the top of the Empire State Building.
On top of the building Flash pretends to be tired, Aurora
slowly rises up over the top of the building.
Looking at Flash.
DR. WALLER
(to the pilot) We got his ass!
Move in.
Waller grabs the Disabler.
The Martian flies up the side of the building, he becomes
transparent and fazes straight into the ship.
Inside the ship, The Martian fazes into the body of the
pilot and possesses him. The pilots thoughts flash
through his mind. The Martian rolls the ship over and
over dozens of times at very high speeds until the
passengers pass out. The Martian (as the pilot) looks out
the window and nods his head to The Flash.
Flash jumps on top of the ship and it descends to the
sidewalk. The ships opens and Flash rushes in.
Flash disarms everyone and throws them off the ship.
THE FLASH
Protocol Tired Man achieved.
64.
Cyborg uncloaks as he enters the ship carrying Diana, she
has taser darts stuck in her face and shoulder. Cyborg
yanks the darts out, Dianas face is covered in blood.
The hatch closes and the ship lifts off.
EXT. SIDEWALK - THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING - MOMENTS LATER
Waller comes to and radios for help.
DR. WALLER
Weve been jacked...by aliens.
The TV news plays new footage of The Martian, Diana,
Barda, Grodd, Grundy and Cyborg.
NEWS REPORT (V.O.)
These are the faces of the alien
terrorists.
The aliens fly back to the Amish village. Diana wakes up.
DIANA
Where are we?
CYBORG
We have taken a vessel.
DIANA
Collateral damage?
CYBORG
Zero.
Flash proudly interjects.
THE FLASH
Protocol Tired Man, works every

MARTIAN
Our search is complete. I am
attempting to communication. We
must collect the others.

INT. DARKSEIDS INQUISITION CHAMBER - MOMENTS LATER
The room is dark, a green glow reaches up to Superman.
Still on the cross, he is almost completely covered in
exotic restraints, he has Kryptonite sickness from the
stone at his feet. Superman gets the shakes from his
sickness and it rattles the entire room.
Aurora reaches the destroyed Amish village.
Cyborgs mechanical eye scans the village. Diana taps her
comlink.
DIANA
Dog Cavalry, Justifiers report!
Aquatic, Barda?
CYBORG
Ours is not among the fallen.
The Martian places two fingers on his temples, he is
attempting to communicate with Grodd.
MARTIAN
Grodd is non responsive.
DIANA
Martian contact the others.
MARTIAN
You know I can not link with all
species. Perhaps they were taken.
Cyborg does a long range scan of the area.
EXT. DARK BACK ROAD - LATER THAT NIGHT
Tumbler #1 and #2 speed down a dark back road.
Ayala is uneasy, Nightwing focuses on the road.
NIGHTWING
Something you want to ask me?

Ayala rubs the ring finger and considers.

A Blacked Out helicopter carrying Dr. Waller lifts off.

INT. BLACKED OUT HELICOPTER - MOMENTS LATER
Dr. Waller is on the phone with the president explaining
having lost the Aurora Aircraft.
DR. WALLER
Sir, no one is more aware than I
am that loosing a three billion
dollar piece of exotic technology
is a bad thing. Sir, it is time to
untie our hands. We are shooting
spitballs at battleships. These
out of towners are trained,
tactical, and exhibiting
attributes relegated to the
legends of ancient gods...Thank
you sir.
Waller hangs up the phone and addresses her team.
DR. WALLER
People, the president just flipped
the Kill Switch.
EXT. LARGE TRANSPORT VEHICLE - MOMENTS LATER
A large dark transport vehicle followed by a large
security detail of six SUVs drives down an empty highway.
INT. LARGE TRANSPORT VEHICLE - MOMENTS LATER
Grodd lies facedown and unconscious inside a metal cage.
Red laser dots coming from weapons are pointed at Grodds
head. Over a radio, a soldier reports to Dr. Waller.
SOLDIER #2
(cocky) The chimp is tucked in
and resting comfortably over.
The soldier pokes Grodd with the barrel of his rifle.
SOLDIER #2
(to the other soldiers) Who needs
air support? We got this.
The over confident soldiers hi-five each other.
The aircraft streaks through the sky.

EXT. NIGHTWINGS HEADQUARTERS - DECOMMISSIONED RESERVOIR -
MOMENTS LATER
Tumbler #1 And #2 speed through the entrance.
INT. NIGHTWINGS HQ - MOMENTS LATER
Tumbler #1 and #2 come to a stop, opens up and Nightwing
climbs out. Tumbler #2 opens and Toyman clumsily climbs
out. The Aquatic climbs out. Ayala leaps out and perches
on the roof of the vehicle. Nightwing introduces himself.
NIGHTWING
Nightwing, (points to Ayala) Green
Lantern, (points to The Aquatic
and Toyman) who are you?
Posturing and embellishing, Toyman steps forward.
TOYMAN
I am Toyman, feared in countless
galaxies. Tread not on me and you
will never know my wrath...
The Aquatic steps forward.
THE AQUATIC
He is Toyman, mechanic, engineer,
weapon maker with few equals,
storyteller and good friend.
The Aquatic puts his webbed hand on Toymans shoulder.
Toyman looks to Nightwing with an embarrassed smile.
THE AQUATIC
I am The Aquatic. Our squad went
in search of a way to stop a
madman.
NIGHTWING
The thing that enslaved you?
THE AQUATIC
We must locate the others.
Nightwing removes his helmet. Ayala and Nightwing eyes
meet.
NIGHTWING
I think I can help.
They gather around a computer console. Nightwing explains
his findings.

NIGHTWING
This is Gamma radiation, one of
your buddies is emitting it and
they sure do get around.
On screen, the Gamma signal crosses the Atlantic ocean.
TOYMAN AND THE AQUATIC
Flash.
NIGHTWING
If Flash is with the others we
can find them.
AYALA
We?
Nightwing turns to the Ayala.
NIGHTWING
Yea we! See Im kind of a
protector myself.
The Aurora flies over the ocean at high speeds.
While flying the aircraft The Martian is concentrating on
the location of the man they are searching for.
MARTIAN
Cyborg, can you pilot this craft?
Cyborg steps to the cockpit.
CYBORG
Have interface, will travel.
Cyborg exposes his wrist to show an articulated cable.
The connecting end mechanically morphs to adapt to any
interface. The cable connects with the ships console.
Cyborg downloads flight instructions from Aurora. Cyborg
retracts the cable and takes the ships controls.
The Martian sits down and puts fingers on both temples,
closes his eyes and concentrates. He sees visions of
talking to Superman, visions of police files, Wayne
Manner, a dark cave, the rush of thousands of bats. The
Martian opens his eyes.

MARTIAN
(to Cyborg) Head north.
INT. LARGE TRANSPORT VEHICLE - MOMENTS LATER
A young attractive lab technician wearing a lab coat,
cat lady nerd glasses, with neck, leg and arm tattoos,
full red lips, wearing a skirt and combat boots slides
open a door and enters with a tranquilizer gun. She
kneels down and sticks her hand through the bars of
Grodds cage and injects him. Soldier #2 steps to her.
SOLDIER #2
So is it an alien or a Sasquatch?
Or is Sasquatch an alien?
The lab technician raises up and faces the soldier.
ATTRACTIVE LAB TECHNICIAN
(conspiratorially) Its like you
and a dead man if you keep asking
questions... the exact same thing.
The attractive lab technicians name tag reads Quinn.
She walks back out of the door she entered.
The Martian is psychically navigating.
MARTIAN
Fifteen clicks east.
INT. LARGE TRANSPORT VEHICLE - SEPARATE COMPARTMENT -
MOMENTS LATER
The attractive lab technician enters a separate
compartment and text on her smart phone . Two other
technicians in the room are seated and buckled in.
ATTRACTIVE LAB TECHNICIAN SMART

Confirmed, Seeker Gorilla.
She presses send. A few seconds later she gets a reply.

She cuts her eyes left then right and slowly widens her
grins. She starts a stopwatch countdown from thirty
minutes on her phone, puts it in her pocket and has a
seat opposite of the other technicians.
EXT. OPEN FIELD IN THE ITALIAN COUNTRYSIDE - PRE DAWN
(SEVERAL HOURS AHEAD OF AMERICA, WHERE IT IS STILL NIGHT)
Blades of grass sway back, the Aurora touches down in a
field in the Italian countryside one hundred yards away a
country home. A light comes on in the house.
The Martian uses telpathy.
MARTIAN
He is here.
The four exit the aircraft and walk toward the house.
MOMENTS LATER
The lab technicians stopwatch clock reads 19:05.
EXT. THE NIGHT SKY - NIGHT IN AMERICA
A large twin blade unmarked helicopter followed by two
unmanned custom drones armed with eight Hellfire Missiles
fly through the night sky.
EXT. HOME ON ITALIAN COUNTRYSIDE - MOMENTS LATER - PRE
DAWN
As the aliens approach within one hundred feet of the
home the light that was cut on in the home cuts off and
the front door flies open. A man runs out the door with a
rifle in hand. The man stands in the darkness.
THE MAN THEY SEARCHED FOR
One more step and Ill remove your
heads from your shoulders! I know
what you are!
The aliens continue and the man opens fires on them.
Diana views the bullet in slow motion, its heading for
her face.

Diana, face still covered in blood, lifts her wrist and
deflects the bullet with her indestructible bracelet. The
man fires again, Diana deflects the bullet, sparks fly
off of her braclet from the impact. The aliens continue
and the man fires a few more shots, all deflected. The
aliens are within twenty feet, they stop, the man throws
the gun down and steps out of the shadows. The man they
have been searching for is Alfred Pennyworth. Alfred
raises his fists and takes a fighters posture.
ALFRED
If your here for a fight Ive been
trained by the bloody best! Lets
get on with it then!
The Martian steps forward.
MARTIAN
We did not come to fight.
ALFRED
You couldve fooled me, I saw what
you did to the White House.
MARTIAN
We need your help.
Alfred slowly lowers his fists.
ALFRED
I know that voice, your the bloody
voice in my head!
MARTIAN
I have been trying to communicate
with you.
ALFRED
Thank God, I thought I was loosing
my mind. Who sent you?
MARTIAN
The Kryptonian.
ALFRED
(considered) Superman?
Alfred looks around, he realizes other people could have
seen the aliens.
ALFRED
Come inside before somebody sees
you. You cant imagine how many
times Ive said that.

MOMENTS LATER
The attractive lab technician stop watch reads 13:29.
INT. HOUSE ON ITALIAN COUNTRYSIDE - MOMENTS LATER
The aliens follow Alfred to a sitting room.
ALFRED
Please have a seat, Ill be right
back.
Alfred walks to another room. Diana sits down, the others
stand. Diana feels the couch, she hasnt felt anything
that soft in a long time. Alfred returns with a bottle of
peroxide and a towel, he sits down on the couch next to
Diana. Like its second nature, he begins to wash the
blood from her face and tend to her wounds. Diana doesnt
know how to react, kindness is not something shes used
to.
ALFRED
Superman sent for my help?
MARTIAN
The Kryptonian was taken by a
being with power beyond power.
Alfred turns his attention to the Martian.
ALFRED
Impossible!
MARTIAN
When we first encountered the
Kryptonian, he was bloodied and
beaten.
Alfred realizes what happened.
ALFRED
The meteor, he must have stopped
it.
The aliens look to each other, shocked that anyone could
stopped a meteor.
MARTIAN
For a brief moment I joined with
his mind and his single thought
was that you would be able to
help.

Alfred has cleaned Dianas face, he smiles, looks at the
others and pretends to be surprised.
ALFRED
My, word! Theres a woman under
all this blood!
Diana tries to smile.
ALFRED
Noe this being he has Superman you
say?
DIANA
Yes.
Alfred confidently looks to them all.
ALFRED
Well if Superman was injured, he
will soon be fine and Im sure he
can solve all your problems.
MARTIAN
How is that?
ALFRED
Because...
Alfred points to the rising sun just outside his window.
ALFRED
Right outside that window is the
source of Supermans tremendous
strength, and everything he needs
to heal himself.
The aliens all look out the window, there is a cow fifty
feet away mooing.
THE FLASH
(amazed) That beast can heal the
Kryptonian?
ALFRED
No, the sun! The yellow sun.
The aliens look to the rising sun with question.
ALFRED
The yellow sun, its radiation
makes him immortal, gives him his
great strength, heals his body.

The aliens give each other a knowing look.
MARTIAN
The planet the Kryptonian has been
taken to circles both a red and a
blue star.
A look of concern washes over Alfreds face.
ALFRED
Well that would mean that he
was...
MARTIAN
Powerless.
Two soldiers open the door to the Inquisition Room for
Darkseid, he enters the room followed by the Alien
Doctor. He points to the exotic restraints across
Supermans chest.
DARKSEID
(to the soldier) Remove them.
The soldier waves a small scanning device across a lit
barcode on the restraint and it opens. They pull it off
of Superman and it hits the ground with a thud. Darkseid
walks to Superman and kicks the stone away from his feet.
The two are face to face. Darkseid runs his large hand
over the symbol on Supermans chest.
DARKSEID
Hope?
Weak and ill, Superman looks in Darkseids eyes, on their
surface a thin layer of flame burns. The light from the
flame illuminates Supermans face. Darkseid cuts his
eyes, grabs Supermans suit by the collar and rips it
down the middle of the symbol, exposing his chest.
Darkseid clears his nostrils like a bull, takes a step
back and begins to deliver bone crushing body blows to
Supermans ribs and chest. Again and again, Darkseid
brutalizes him, the blows raddle the room. The sound of

INT. HOUSE ON ITALIAN COUNTRYSIDE - MOMENTS LATER
Alfred briefly searches the top shelf of a wardrobe
cabinet. He pulls a GPS tracking device down, cuts it on
and a target is shown on screen. With device in hand,
Alfred announces to the aliens.
ALFRED
This is it! I hope you have room
for one more.
EXT. THE NIGHT SKY - MOMENTS LATER
The large unmarked twin blade helicopter is within visual
contact of the transport vehicle carrying Grodd.
EXT. INTERSECTION ROAD - MOMENTS LATER
On a road that intersects with the highway that the
transport Grodd is on, a huge foreign looking multi wheel
vehicle is speeding its way toward a collision with the
transport convoy.
MOMENTS LATER
The attractive lab technician looks at the stopwatch on
her phone and it reads 00:17. The phone receives a text,
it reads

Hold on tight - MR.J!
The attractive lab technician raises her skirt revealing
a inner thigh holster and a gun. She takes the gun out,
cocks it and shoots the other two technicians.

The large multi wheel vehicle is two hundred yards away
from the intersection with the transport convoy.
The transport vehicle with its security detail are almost
at the intersection.
EXT. THE NIGHT SKY - MOMENTS LATER
Over head, the unmarked twin blade helicopter and
unmanned drones are bearing down on the transport convoy.
The targets (transport convoy) are seen through the
optics of the drones night vision scopes. The drones fire
six missiles, one for each SUV.
The missiles rain down on the six SUVs. The explosions
are viewed through the drones optics (like actual
military footage of drone strikes).
MOMENTS LATER
The attractive lab technician looks at her phone and the
stopwatch reads 00:03. The compartment door slides open,
soldier #2 enters with his weapon drawn.
SOLDIER #2
Whats going on?
The attractive lab technician shoots him in the face.
I warned you about asking
questions.
The attractive lab technician winces and braces herself.
(to herself) This is gonna hurt!
The multi wheel vehicle and the transport vehicle colide
at the intersection. The multi wheel vehicle slams into
the rig of the transport vehicle, separating it from the
trailer. The rig flips over and explodes.
78.
The multi wheel vehicle drives off. The transport trailer
turns on its side and slides across the road.
The unmarked twin blade helicopter lands next to the
turned over transport trailer. Armed mercenaries rush out
of the helicopter with night vision and thermal goggles
on. The mercenaries with thermal goggles look through the
wall of the transport trailer to see the heated outline
of four armed soldiers trying to stand up. The
mercenaries open fire, shooting the soldiers through the
wall of the trailer, the soldiers fall.
The mercenaries pull thick cables and hooks from the
helicopter. They open the transport doors, rush in with
the cables.
MOMENTS LATER
A mercenary walks into the separate compartment of the
transport where the attractive lab technician is. Because
the transport is on its side now, the attractive lab
technician is buckled to a chair thats on the ceiling.
Her red lipstick is smeared across her mouth like a
broken smile, her legs dangle as she struggles to
unbuckle herself. She has been working with the
mercenaries. Shes angry.
(calm sarcasm) Next time, you
people should make a (shouts)
bigger mess!
The mercenary shoots her seat belt straps and she falls
to the ground.
The last mercenary out of the trailer throws a bomb pack
in it, The Attractive Lab Technician carries Grodds
laser canon is over her shoulder. She and the mercs get
back into the helicopter, it lifts off dragging Grodds
cage out of the trailer. The twin blade helicopter flies
away carrying Grodd (unconscious) in his cage, the bomb
pack explodes, blowing up the transport trailer.
INT. LONG CORRIDOR - DARKSEIDS PALACE - MOMENTS LATER
His hands clasped behind him, Darkseid walks down a long
corridor, he is joined by Desaad. Desaad seems worried.

DESAAD
My lord, New Genesis is requesting
a counsel with you in regards to
the attack on Earth Prime and the
state of our peace treaty.
Darkseid has a peace treaty with New Genesis, a
neighboring world that is the opposite of Apokolips. In
the treaty, many worlds are under the protection of New
Genesis and its leader High Father, a being as powerful
as Darkseid. In Darkseids mind the treaty is a chore, a
technicality that is wearing thin. Darkseid clears his
nostrils.
DARKSEID
Send Kalibak, (sarcasm) my little
prince. Instruct him to tell High
Father that a rouge faction of my
army tried to seize control of
Earth Prime and I went there to
retrieve them, a battle ensued and
damage occurred. If that does not
suffice, then this is a good day
for war.
DESAAD
Thy will be done my lord.
DARKSEID
Also, it could not be chance that
the Kryptonian should find
sanctuary on such an insignificant
world that also happens to be
under the protection of the New
Genesis Treaty. Find out why this
is.

The two walk in different directions.
INT. BLACKED OUT HELICOPTER - MOMENTS LATER
Dr. Waller flies toward the vehicles from the transport
convoy, they are on fire. The helicopter lands.
EXT. BLACKED OUT HELICOPTER - MOMENTS LATER
Surrounded by burning debris and smoke, fanned by the
helicopter, Dr. Waller and Operator #3 survey the
transport trailer.

OPERATOR #3
Jacked by aliens twice in one
night!?
Waller kneels down and picks something up, she looks at
it, its a bullet casing. She tosses it to Operator #3,
he holds it between two fingers and looks at it.
DR. WALLER
Not unless their using automatic
weapons and Hellfire missiles.
OPERATOR #3
Drones?
Waller is mildly impressed.
DR. WALLER
Laser guided drone strikes. Nice!
The transport was tracked by our
satellites, we should have images.
Weve got another player on the
board.
Waller considers.
INT. NIGHTWING HQ - MOMENTS LATER
Nightwing, The Aquatic, Toyman and Ayala are watching the
Gamma radiation tracker on the monitor. An alarm on the
computer console goes off. Nightwing starts typing and
switches attention to a different monitor. Nightwing
grabs his helmet and jumps in Tumbler #1.
AYALA
What is it?
NIGHTWING
This is my day job.
Ayala is confused.
NIGHTWING
How I protect.
Nightwing puts on his helmet.
NIGHTWING
(to The Aquatic) Can you swim?
The Aquatic replies by tilting his head and raising the
gills on the back of his neck.

NIGHTWING
Right. Your in that one!
Nightwing points to the Tumbler #2 and then looks towards
Ayala and Toyman.
NIGHTWING
What about you two?
TOYMAN
Will there be a fight?
NIGHTWING
Every time.
Toyman holds up Ayalas damaged power ring.
TOYMAN
Then I have a ring to repair.
Ayala leaps from the monitors onto the front of Tumbler
#1 and lands feline like.
AYALA
I am trained in over two hundred
fighting disciplines.
Nightwing pulls a retractable fighting staff (retracted)
from the holster and tosses it to Ayala. She presses a
button in the middle of the staff and it extends. She
presses the button again and the staff retracts. Ayala
hops in Tumbler #1, it closes. Both vehicles start up,
turn around and exit. Toyman sits down at the console,
takes off the bag of tools worn across his chest and sits
it on the console.
TOYMAN
(to himself) A day ago I was a
slave working in a dungeon, today
I am free, (looks around) working
in a dungeon. What will tomorrow
bring?

INT. AURORA AIRCRAFT - MOMENTS LATER - JUST AFTER SUNRISE
(SEVERAL HOURS AHEAD OF AMERICA, WHERE ITS STILL DARK)
Cyborg is at the cockpit, everyone buckles up, Alfred is
holding a GPS device. Seated, Alfred takes a look around.
ALFRED
Is this your spaceship?
Embarrassed, none of the aliens want to explain how they
got the Aurora. Flash gives Alfred a smile.
Aurora lifts off.
Nightwing explains to Ayala and The Aquatic what they are
doing. The Aquatic is seen on the video screen shown in
Tumbler #1 listening to Nightwing.
NIGHTWING
I planted a tracking device on a
vessel known for smuggling an
illegal substance. This vessel has
returned. Were shutting it down.
Move when I move.(to The Aquatic)
You hit them from the water. (to
Ayala) you hit their flank.
AYALA
Where will you hit them?
NIGHTWING
Everywhere else.
EXT. DARK DINGY STREET IN THE NARROWS, GOTHAM - MOMENTS
LATER
The two Tumblers race through a ran down part of Gotham.
The aliens, along with Alfred are flying back to the
U.S.A.
DIANA
The Kryptonian, a friend?

ALFRED
(joking) Well, I wouldnt want to
be his enemy! (beat) No, I think
he sees me as kind of a mentor, a
guide. He asks for advice, I give
it. You see Ive been in the
company of heroes,
uh, people of good character, for
some time now.
Diana points to the device in Alfreds hand.
DIANA
And that is your weapon?
Alfred looks at the device.
ALFRED
This? No. It will lead us to the
location of a very powerful
weapon, (ponders) I just hope its
still functional.
Alfred gives Diana an uncomfortable smile.
EXT. RAN DOWN DOCKS IN THE NARROWS - MOMENTS LATER
A yacht is making berth at a ran down dock. Freight
containers fill the docks. Men on the pier greet men on
the bow of the ship. The men from the ship jump onto the
pier, they speak French. A few bosses light up
cigarettes, stand around and talk, some give directions
to hired hands to unload the ship and put the drugs in
two waiting trucks, everyone is armed.
Behind the ship, in the dark water, submerged just below
the surface, a pair of strange eyes gleam in the
moonlight. The Aquatic waits for a sign to strike.
Nightwing is perched on top of freight containers stacked
one hundred feet high, Hes down on one knee
Nightwing uses the binoculars in his visor to spy on the
transaction. Digitally, his visor shows cross hairs,
distance from targets (400 feet) and the number of
targets (15). He sees two suitcases of money presented to
the Big Boss, a Black Frenchman. The suitcases are at the
Big Bosses feet.
84.
Nightwing raises from one knee and takes several steps
backwards. He taps his comlink.
NIGHTWING
Engage.
He takes off running and leaps from the freight
containers. In air, he engages his glider. The small
backpack on his back opens into a flying squirrel type
glider with its membrane connecting to the back of his
arms and legs.
While in flight his visor shows a Heading and Airspeed
Indicator. As he flies closer to the target, the target
distance reads by number closer and closer.
Out of the darkness of the docks, Tumbler #1 and #2 busts
through old wooden crates and comes roaring towards the
trucks being loaded with drugs.
INT. TUMBLER #1 AND #2 - MOMENTS LATER
The menu screen in Tumbler #1 and #2 have the word
Demolition flashing on it.
The smugglers open fire on both approaching Tumblers.
EXT. UNDER WATER - THE RAN DOWN DOCKS - MOMENTS LATER
The Aquatic sees Nightwings move and creates a
diversion. At high speeds he dives under the yacht and
makes a u-turn straight back up and rams it with his
body. The back of the ship lifts several feet out of the
water, shaking the smugglers on board.
Riding on the back of Tumbler #1, Ayala climbs up from
behind, where she was taking cover from gun fire. She
leaps from the top of the Tumbler high into the air.
85.
In mid air, executing a reverse summersault with the
retractable staff in hand, she extends it. Both Tumblers
slam into, knock over, drive over and flatten (monster
truck style) the trucks filled with drugs. The smugglers
spread out. The tumblers park close to the action.
INT. TUMBLER #1 AND #2 - MOMENTS LATER
The menu screen on both Tumblers flash Demolition
Complete.
Nightwing flies in, slowing himself down by posturing his
body and glider like a bird would when landing feet
first. On his way to the ground he plants both feet into
the chest of the Big Boss. The Big Boss hits the ground,
Nightwing lands on one knee and disables his glider, it
retracts and folds up on his back.
Ayala lands on the shoulder of a smuggler, wraps her legs
around his neck and uses her momentum from the fall to
flip the smuggler several feet. The smuggler flies upside
down into the smashed truck. Ayala lands with a hand and
a knee on the ground. She swipes the feet from under a
smuggler with the staff and cracks him in the head. She
fights very acrobatically.
Nightwing quickly gets on his feet, grabs his retractable
batons from the holsters, flicks them open simultaneously
in a downward x motion and starts slamming smugglers in
the jaw, head, ankles, and knees, bring them crashing to
the ground. Nightwing employs an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)
fighting style.
EXT. YACHT - MOMENTS LATER
The Aquatic climbs on board and ambushes smugglers. Hes
slamming heads into rails, throwing exotic open hand
punches to the face. Three smugglers jump in the water to
get away and he jumps in after them. When he hits the
water it hardly makes a ripple.
EXT. UNDER WATER - THE RAN DOWN DOCKS - MOMENTS LATER
The Aquatic drags the three smugglers under water, he
takes them down to the dark depths and lets them get a
good look at him, gills, webbed hands and all. The
smugglers are scared to death, they try to swim away but
he holds them down.
86.
A few seconds later The Aquatic emerges from the water
with three crying and screaming Frenchman.
The smugglers have be beaten and restrained. With hands
behind their backs, some lay on the dock, some sit up
frightened at the sight of The Aquatic and Ayala, the Big
Boss remains defiant, he laughs.
BIG BOSS
(French ascent) (smug) What do you
know, it is the Nightwing! You
fool, soon you will be known as
the, No Thing! Do you know who I
am?
With Ayala and The Aquatic at his side, Nightwing kneels
down and reaches into the Big Bosses breast pocket and
pulls out identification, he reads it.
NIGHTWING
So you got a diplomatic pass huh?
BIG BOSS
(amused) Thats right you idiot!
Nightwing looks to the aliens, holds up the ID and
explains a Diplomatic Pass.
NIGHTWING
(to the aliens) See, this piece of
paper says that this dirtbag
(points to the Big Boss) is not
subject to the laws of this
region.
The Big Boss and some of the smugglers laugh.
BIG BOSS
(to the other smugglers) I think
hes got it!
Nightwing kneels down and tucks the ID back into the Big
Bosses breast pocket. Nightwing stands up and reaches
into a big pocket on his belt, pulls out two small
grenades and activates them.
NIGHTWING
Sucks for you! See, Im not
subject to the laws of this region
either.
87.
Nightwing throws a grenade under each of the smashed
trucks filled with drugs, the trucks explode.
BIG BOSS
(enraged)) Are you crazy!
The Aquatic looks at the explosion, takes his trident
from its back holster and extends the staff. The sound of
the weapon charging is heard, the Big Boss looks to The
Aquatic. The Aquatic aims the trident at the yacht.
THE AQUATIC
Sucks for you! I am not even from
this galaxy.
The Aquatic fires his weapon several times, the yacht
blows up. The Big Boss is irate.
BIG BOSS
(in French) Youre dead Nightwing!
Your super friends are dead!
Nightwing picks up both suitcases filled with cash.
NIGHTWING
(to the Big Boss) Thanks for the
lunch money!
The top of Tumbler #2 opens and Nightwing opens the two
suitcases and empties the cash inside the vehicle. Like
the ex-cop he is, Nightwing pulls an extra compact
version of a cop radio from his belt and calls in the
bust to Gotham PD.
NIGHTWING
Gotham PD, this is Nightwing,
comback.
GOTHAM PD DISPATCH (V.O.)
Go ahead Nightwing.
NIGHTWING
I got a bunch of dope dealin
diplomats down at Pier #9 in the
Narrows. The drugs are burning and
the moneys gone. Send a fire
boat.
He watches the flaming yacht sink.
NIGHTWING
Cancel the fire boat.
88.
GOTHAM PD DISPATCH (V.O.)
Understood.
He and the aliens climb into the Tumblers and drive off.
EXT. THE FARM - MOMENTS LATER - DAWN
The blacked out helicopter carrying Dr. Waller and team
land at The Farm. A top secret installation and
headquarters for Dr. Wallers clandestine activities. The
Farm looks like a real farm, armed people pretending to
be farm workers mill about. Dr. Waller and team walk into
the front door of the farm house.
INT. THE FARM - MOMENTS LATER
The team walk through a full body x-ray machine on there
way to the command center, armed guards stand by and view
the screen. The team walks from the x-ray into an
elevator.
INT. ELEVATOR AT THE FARM - MOMENTS LATER
The elevator goes down ten floors and opens. Operator #3
is on the phone with the Groom Lake facility. He gives
Waller a status report.
OPERATOR #3
(to Dr. Waller) Aurora 2 is in the
air. Its carrying The Whistler.
Its been fitted with a live
cockpit cam and they are riding
dirty! The president has given
clearance to let Tiny Tim off the
chain.
DR. WALLER
(pencive)Tiny Tim, a shoulder to
site nuclear device, its a new
world. (to Operator #3) Get the
latest location on that Gamma
signature to our guys in the sky.
INT. COMMAND CENTER, THE FARM - MOMENTS LATER
Waller and her team walk into the command center of The
Farm. Dr. Wallers heads for her office.

INT. DR. WALLERS OFFICE - MOMENTS LATER
Waller and Operator #3 enter her office, it has glass
walls and is elevated over the rest of the command
center. Waller sits at her desk. Shes stressed, she
pulls open a desk drawer and takes out a bottle of pills
and takes one, rubs the back of her neck and sighs.
DR. WALLER
Get me that cockpit feed, a cup of
coffee and the Freak Files. I
want to know what the difference
is between the Bigfoot we just
caught and lost, and the ones
weve been trying to catch. To
date, none of the others have been
witnessed brandishing laser
weaponry.
OPERATOR #3
On it!
Operator #3 rushes out of her office.
INT. NIGHTWING HQ - MOMENTS LATER
The aliens exit Tumblers #1 and #2. Toyman has the power
ring disassembled, spread out on the console. Nightwing
walks to the console.
NIGHTWING
Looks like your friend is heading
back this way. When that signal
reaches land, we head out!
Ayala reaches into Tumbler #2 and pulls out a handful of
one hundred dollar bills, she looks at them with
question, Nightwing explains.
NIGHTWING
Money. Uh, currency, value to
humans.
Ayala understands but has questions.
AYALA
And you have been given the
authority to take this from the
doers of wrong?
Nightwing takes off his helmet.

NIGHTWING
The doers of wrong who prey on
the weak, the helpless, the
powerless, they give me the
authority.
AYALA
And this money?
NIGHTWING
It goes to feed the hungry and the
good people that could use a
helping hand. I fight for them.
Ayala understands. The two take the money and stack it on
metal shelving filled with more money. Toyman puts the
power ring back together.
Alfred stands behind Cyborg in the cockpit, hes reading
the GPS tracking device.
ALFRED
(to cyborg) Straight on. (joking)
At these speeds well be there
yesterday!
A beeping alert goes off in the cockpit. On a radar
screen it show a dot headed toward their position. The
Flash zips to the radar screen and reads it.
THE FLASH
Aircraft closing!
Smaller dots are seen shooting from the larger dot on the
radar screen.
EXT. AURORA 2 - MOMENTS LATER
Aurora 2 fires the The Whistler at Aurora 1. The
Whistler is a sonic disrupter, the weapon rips apart
solid objects on a molecular level. When deployed, the
weapon sounds like a giant trumpet being blown, sonic
ripple are also visible.
INT. AURORA 1 - MOMENTS LATER
CYBORG
Its fast!

THE FLASH
Incoming fire! Does this aircraft
have weapons?
CYBORG
Just us!
Cyborg maneuvers out of the line of fire. Aurora goes
into hyper speed.
EXT. AIR CHASE - MOMENTS LATER
Aurora 2 chases Aurora 1 through the sky, both aircraft
toping four thousand MPH. Aurora 2 fires on Aurora 1, the
aliens take evasive maneuvers. Aurora 1 flies north,
through Canada, over a wooded area, Aurora 2 fires on it,
misses and destroys a large swatch of forest. Everything
the weapon hits is gone. Aurora 1 flies further north,
over the North Pole. Aurora 1 flies low stirring up snow
and ice, Aurora 2 follows and fires, misses and slices
through hundreds of miles of ice shelf.
Cyborg grips the controls.
CYBORG
Hold on!
The ships fly south. Flying over North Dakota, Cyborg
spots an empty, dried up broken down farm. Aurora 1
circles the old farm over and over, thousands of times at
four thousand MPH, the aircraft is kicking up dirt, the
wind its generating is creating a twister a thousand
feet wide. The twister sucks in the broken down farm,
trees and everything on the ground. Aurora 1 stops in the
middle of the twister and hovers, the flying dirt and
debris are creating camouflage.
From the cockpit, Cyborg looks above Aurora 1 with his
mechanical eye, he sees in a kind of radar through the
dust. Aurora 2 hovers over the twister.
92.
The pilot and two other crew members check sensors but
all of the debris and dirt wont allow a fix on Aurora 1.
Tiny Tim is posted to the wall of the aircraft, it has a
nuclear yellow and black sticker on it.
PILOT #2
I cant get a fix!
Aurora 2 randomly fires into the twister, Cyborg gages
the shots and adjust their ship left or right to avoid
being hit. Every blast kicks up more dirt, making the
camouflage thicker. Alfred is very nervous
CYBORG
(to the others) This is the point
at which a lethal solution would
apply. I vote against said
solution, what say you?
The aliens reply as a team.
DOG CAVALRY
Against!
FLASH
So whats the plan?
CYBORG
Martian, can you take that ship?
MARTIAN
If it takes off while Im fazing
into it, I could be ripped apart.
CYBORG
Princess?
Alfred looks to Diana with raised eyebrow.
DIANA
Heavy Hands?
Diana heads to the hatch, she gives the Martian a nod
and the hatch opens, dirt and wind fly in and Diana flies
out.
93.
Operator #3 walks in with multiple folders and a cup of
coffee sitting on top them. He sits everything on
Wallers desk. Operator #3 cuts on the flat screen on the
wall. The live cockpit feed from Aurora 2 plays. Aurora
2 is hovering over the twister.
Waller excitedly gets out of her seat.
DR. WALLER
Get Aurora 2 on the line. Under no
circumstance do they land or come
within a thousand feet of Aurora
1!
Operator #3 gets on his phone, Waller watches the live
feed.
OPERATOR #3
(on the phone) I need a patch to
Aurora 2!
EXT. TWISTER - MOMENTS LATER
Diana flies out of the twister to intercept Aurora 2.
Alfred is upset with the male aliens.
ALFRED
How could you three just let her
go out there and fight this
battles alone?
Waller watches the video feed from Aurora 2. Operator #3
gets patched through to Aurora 2, he puts the pilot on
speaker phone.
OPERATOR #3
We got Aurora 2!
Waller takes the phone.
DR. WALLER
Do not engage Aurora 1 or the
aliens in close combat! I repeat,
no close contact...

Waller watches Diana on the video feed bearing down on
Aurora and grabbing it by the nose.
DR. WALLER
Get out of there now!
PILOT #2 (V.O.)
Shes got us!
Diana scowls and tussles with the aircraft on the video.
EXT. TWISTER - MOMENTS LATER
Aurora 1 flies out of the twister and hovers upside down
over Aurora 2.
DIANA
Martian... move!
The Martian fazes out of Aurora 1 into Aurora 2.
The Martian fazes into the pilot and takes control.
Waller watches Diana lets go of the ship and give the
pilot a nod. Waller knows that the ship is now under
alien control.
DR. WALLER
(into the phone) To the occupants
of Aurora 2, your pilot has been
compromised, take him out!
The two other crew member reach for their weapons. The
Martian fazes out of the pilot, leaving him unconscious.
He puts his hands on the foreheads of the two crew
members, a small pulse of energy illuminates in The
Martians palm and the two knock out.
The unconscious pilots hand slips off the console
jerking a control, the ship goes into a high speed
spiral, like a top spinning sideways. The ship falls into
the twister and flies out of control. The Martian is
thrown around the cabin of the ship, the inertia wont
allow him to get to the controls of the ship.
95.
INT. TWISTER - MOMENTS LATER
Diana flies into the twister and tries to grab the
aircraft, the spinning ship hits her and slams her into
the ground.
The Flash and Cyborg look out the cockpit window at the
out of control aircraft.
CYBORG
Flash!
THE FLASH
Way ahead of you!
The hatch opens and Flash jumps out (paratrooper style),
the hatch closes. Alfred gets out of his seat and rushes
to the cockpit and looks out.
ALFRED
All of you can fly?
Cyborg, occupied with the task at hand, casually points
out the window at The Flash who is falling from the sky.
CYBORG
Not that one.
Trying to neutralize the twister, Cyborg flies Aurora 1
the opposite direction of the wind thats blowing in the
twister, Alfred buckles up.
Falling, Flash begins to spin his arms around like
propellers. Controlling his flight pattern, he flies into
the sideward spinning Aurora 2. He lands on top of the
aircraft and in a log rolling motion he runs across the
ships surface in the opposite direction so as to stop the
ships spinning. The spiraling ship slows down. Diana
picks herself off the ground and flies to Aurora 2, grabs
it and holds it still, Flash balances on top.
The Martian takes the controls and lands the Aurora 2.
96.
The twister dissipates, Aurora 1 lands.
DR. WALLER
Aurora 2 respond!
There is no response.
EXT. AURORA 1 AND 2 - MOMENTS LATER
Aurora 1 and 2 are on the ground. Cyborg and Alfred step
out of the ship. Flash carries two unconscious crew
members of Aurora 2 on his shoulders, he runs off and
then returns without them. Alfred looks around to see the
aftermath of the twister.
ALFRED
Well you people sure know how to
make a mess, Ill give you that.
(to Diana) Are you alright?
Diana dusts herself off.
DIANA
I am.
The Martian points at Aurora 2.
MARTIAN
We will take this vehicle.
With the pilot over his shoulder, Flash runs off and
returns without him and they all board Aurora 2.
Cyborg sits at the cockpit, he interfaces with the ship.
The ship lifts off and hovers a thousand feet above
Aurora 1.
DR. WALLERS OFFICE - MOMENTS LATER
Watching the video feed, Waller and operator #3 see
Aurora 1 sitting on the ground. The Whistler is heard
firing and Aurora 1 explodes. The video feed goes dark.

DR. WALLER
At least we can track it.
Cyborg rips the cockpit camera and the tracking device,
he crushes them in his hands. They fly off.
ALFRED
(to Flash) Can you tell me
something, what happened to the
crew of this ship?
THE FLASH
(smiles) They will be fine.
EXT. THE PINK TIGER 24 HOUR STRIP CLUB - MOMENTS LATER
INT. THE PINK TIGER 24 HOUR STRIP CLUB - MOMENTS LATER
The crew members wake up disoriented at a strip club.
Sitting at Nightwings control console, Toyman has put
Ayalas power ring back together.
TOYMAN
Its done!
Toyman stands and holds the ring up and casually slips it
on. Ayala calls out to him.
AYALA
No!
Toyman falls to the ground and convulses and cries out in
pain. Ayala rushes to him and rips the ring off of his
finger. The others rush to Toymans aid. Ayala slips the
ring on and a green glow envelops her. She lays her hand
on Toymans chest in a healing fashion and the convulsing
stops. Toyman takes a breath and opens his eyes.
NIGHTWING
(to Toyman) Thought we lost you.
Toyman looks to the others leaning over him.
98.
AYALA
The ring is coded to accepted my
life force alone, unless otherwise
programed.
They help Toyman off the ground.
TOYMAN
Well we know that part of the ring
works. All systems are online
except interstellar communication.
Its very low on power and will
not hold a charge for long.
Ayala places her fisted hand with the power ring over her
heart and bows her head. A small swirling green vortex
materializes next to her, the others take a step back.
Inside of the vortex is a portable green lantern, a
charging station for the ring. Ayala raises her head and
sticks her fisted hand with ring into the lantern. The
ring is instantly charged, Ayala retracts her hand and
the vortex closes.
NIGHTWING
(to Ayala) What was that?
Ayala looks at he damaged ring.
AYALA
The lantern contains the energy
that fuels my ring.
NIGHTWING
And that lantern follows you
wherever you go?
AYALA
My lantern exists in a pocket
dimension, a storage facility that
can be accesses by the ring.
NIGHTWING
Can anything be stored in that
pocket dimension?
Ayala levitates off the ground.
AYALA
Anything of a certain size.
Nightwing considers.

EXT. SPACE - BLUE STAR - MOMENTS LATER
A massive blue star has become unstable and solar flares
are leaping from it. With their rings, the Green Lantern
Corps, numbering in the thousands are creating an energy
shield blocking the flares from hitting nearby planets.
The planets are being evacuated by large transport ships
and its inhabitants relocated. Green Lantern #3 is being
contacted on his ring, it pulses as he maintains his
contribution to the shield.
GUARDIAN (V.O.)
The power ring belonging to the
lost Lantern Ayala is back online
but she can not be reached. When
your task is complete, make your
way to Earth, return in numbers.
Aurora 2 slows down and circles over a location.
CYBORG
Destination reached.
MARTIAN
(to Alfred) is this the location
of your weapon?
Alfred looks out of the cockpit, he sees dramatic cliffs
overlooking the ocean.
ALFRED
This certainly fits the build.
EXT. WOODED AREA - MOMENTS LATER
Two miles from the cliffs, in the foreground, metal road
barriers go on for miles. An eighteen foot chain linked
fence with barbed wire lining the top and bottom has
cameras posted every hundred yards. Two signs are posted,
one reads Whooping Crane Sanctuary, Federally Protected
Lands, trespassers will be prosecuted to the fullest
extent of the law, 24 hour surveillance. The second sign
reads This land was donated and maintained by The Wayne
Foundation. In the far background, Aurora 2 touches down
at the cliffs.

INT. THE FARM - MOMENTS LATER
Operator #3 is tracking Flashs Gamma trail, then it
disappears.
On her computer, Dr. Waller is having a video conference
with the President, hes unhappy with Wallers progress
thus far. Operator #3 rushes into her office, she gives
him a not now nod. As the president speaks in the
background, Operator #3 mouths the words,
OPERATOR #3
Theyre gone!
PRESIDENT (V.O.)
Are we on the same page?
DR. WALLER
(to the president) Absolutely sir.
The Flashs gamma trail vanishes from the screen.
NIGHTWING
Its gone!
Ayala glides over to the console.
AYALA
If you have its last location my
ring can detect one hundred and
nine forms of known radiation,
including Gamma.
Nightwing pulls the compact radio from his belt and
tosses it to Ayala.
NIGHTWING
Use this radio to let us know
where you are.
Ayala catches it, shes is warming up to Nightwing.
AYALA
I will.
Nightwing pulls a hand held device from the computer
console and walks to Ayala.

NIGHTWING
This is the last location of Flash
and this is us.
Ayala points to the devices screen, repeating what he
said but making it personal.
AYALA
Them, you.
Standing next to each other, there eyes meet.
NIGHTWING
Right.
Ayala flies out of Nightwings HQ.
INT. COMMAND CENTER - THE FARM - MOMENTS LATER
Waller stands over Operator #3, hes at a radar screen.
DR. WALLER
What do we have?
OPERATOR #3
The first appearance of the aliens
was marked by a temporal
distortion. That distortion gives
off a crap load of energy! If that
happens anywhere on the planet,
Doppler weather radar will pick it
up in seconds, so...
Waller rolls her eyes.
DR. WALLER
So what? If they return, then we
got something? Anything on the
other footloose visitors?
Operator #3 has no new concrete info.
OPERATOR #3
Theres a video online of a six
foot tall angel (Hawkman) pulling
a family from a high rise fire in
Mexico City.
Operator #3 plays a grainy internet video on his phone.
The footage is of something large with wings flying from
the roof of a forty story building.

OPERATOR #3
(embarrassed) The video has over
two million hits.
Waller has a disappointed look on her face.
DR. WALLER
Hell, weve moved on less. Let the
Mexican authorities know well be
stepping on there toes for the
next twenty four hours and find
out who posted that video. Were
going bird watching.
EXT. AURORA 2 - CLIFFS - MOMENTS LATER
Everyone exits Aurora 2. With GPS tracking device in
hand, Alfred looks around and sees only ocean and the
cliffs.
ALFRED
Theres nothing here.
The Martian walks to the edge of the cliff and looks down
and sees a rock formation jetting out of the cliff wall.
MARTIAN
Could the weapon you seek be down
below?
Alfred looks over the cliff.
ALFRED
Its been in stranger places.
The Martian glides off the cliff to the rocky ledge
below. The Flash jumps off the cliff and spins his arms
like propellers to slow his decent.
EXT. ROCKY LEDGE - MOMENTS LATER
They both land and on the ledge.
THE FLASH
Theres nothing here!
103.
That instant, a fist appears to come through the rock
wall and hit Flash on the jaw. The sound of a static
discharge is heard, Flash collapses and falls to the
ground, hes knocked out.
A man steps out of what appears to be solid rock, he is
wearing shock knuckles (brass knuckles with taser) on
both hands. Hes wearing combat attire and is in a full
rage, its Bruce Wayne. Bruce takes his attack to The
Martian. His fighting style is straight forward
brutality. Wayne raises a boot and kicks The Martian
across the face, the soles of his boots is shock/taser
equipped as well. The Martian dodges the blow. Bruce
throws himself into a Brazilian Capoeira flip kick that
lands another boot to The Martians face. The Martian hits
the ground.
EXT. CLIFFS - MOMENTS LATER
Cyborg hears the scuffle and jumps from the cliff to the
rocky ledge.
Bruce looks up, sees Cyborg coming and ducks back through
what appears to be solid rock. Cyborg lands on the ledge,
Bruce comes out of the rock wall behind him and punches
him in the back of the head with the shock knuckles. The
iris in Cyborgs mechanical eye closes and his face
glitches and he collapses.
The Martian leaps from the ground, flies toward Bruce and
is about to faze into him but as soon as he gets within
striking distance Bruce lands a punch with the shock
knuckle square in The Martians face. The Martian hits the
dirt in solid form.
DIANA
(to Alfred) We are under attack!
Stay close to the ship!
Diana flies off the cliff, Alfred tries to stop to her.
ALFRED
Wait!
Alfred runs to the edge of the cliff and looks over.
104.
Diana lands in front of Buce with a thud.
DIANA
We did not come to fight.
BRUCE
Thats good, because you people
suck at it!
Leaning over the cliff, Alfred calls to Bruce.
ALFRED
Stand down Master Wayne!
Bruce looks up to see Alfred.
BRUCE
Alfred is that you?
ALFRED
It is!
Bruce looks to Diana and her fist is flying toward him.
Darkseid stands on his balcony and looks down at Kalibak
(prince of Apokolips) and crew load onto a transport ship
headed for New Genesis. Darkseid turns and walks off the
balcony and into his throne room.
INT. DARKSEIDS THRONE ROOM - MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid walks to his throne and sits. Desaad approaches
and reports his findings, he reads from a tablet.
DESAAD
My lord, I have the information
you requested. New Genesis has
claimed protection over Earth
Prime since that planets fourth
near destruction, seventeen
thousand years ago.
DARKSEID
Why such interest in such a dismal
planet on the backside of the
universe?
105.
That the last Kryptonian should
find a refuge on such a miserably
world brings but one conclusion,
The Anti Life Equation resides on
Earth.
Darkseids eyes ignite into flames, he ponders.
EXT. AURORA 1 CRASH SITE - EMPTY FIELD - NORTH DAKOTA -
MOMENTS LATER
Ayala hovers over the smoldering debris of Aurora 1. A
green beam shoots from her power ring at the wreckage.
Inside of the green beam a red haze can be seen, she
turns to follow the red haze. The haze is the Gamma
radiation that they have been tracking. She radios the
others.
AYALA
I have located the radiation
trail, long range scan shows the
trail leads back in your
direction.
Ayala flies of and follows the radiation trail.
The Martian, Cyborg, The Flash and Bruce Wayne are all on
the ground and coming to. Alfred is on the rocky ledge
with everyone else now. Alfred revives Bruce.
BRUCE
What are you doing here?
ALFRED
Looking for you Master Wayne
Diana is standing over Bruce holding his shock knuckles.
She hears Alfred call Bruce master, shes sensitive
about slavery.
DIANA
(to Bruce) Master? You make this
man your slave?
Bruce makes a huh? expression on his face.
DIANA
(to Alfred) Has he inslaved you?
Alfred doesnt know how to answer the question.

ALFRED
Well, I, uh, you see, he has never
been one to do his own dishes.
Alfred smiles at Bruce.
ALFRED
But he is more like a son.
Alfred and Bruce share a look. Alfred helps him up and
dusts him off. Bruce looks to Diana.
ALFRED
Shes stronger than she looks.
Bruce wiggles his jaw.
BRUCE
How did you find me?
ALFRED
I put a tracker in your watch.
ALFRED
These people...
Bruce looks at the aliens suspiciously.
BRUCE
I know who they are, alien
terrorist.
The aliens and Bruce scowls at each other, Alfred stands
in between them, the mood is tense.
ALFRED
(to everyone) Yes, well, the
phrase worlds colliding takes on
a whole new meaning, doesnt it?
(to Bruce) First things first, we
have a suspicious looking aircraft
parked topside that could use some
cover.
BRUCE
Come inside.
Alfred looks around, he sees only the rock face.
ALFRED
Inside of what?
107.
Bruce pulls out a small remote. The facade of the rock
face vanishes, it was a hologram. A huge opening in the
cliff wall one hundred feet wide is revealed, they enter.
INT. THE HALL OF JUSTICE - MOMENTS LATER
Bruce walks in cautiously followed by the others.Inside
is a massive cavernous installation with metal lined
walls going back one thousand feet into darkness. At the
entrance is a docking bay for Batmans air assault
vehicle and a new version of the Tumbler (halfway through
its construction) and an Suv. A ramp leading to the
surface for ground vehicle entry goes from the floor to
the ceiling. Machines, technical and lab equipment line
the walls. Farther in, there is a super computer command
center console with a ten foot by ten foot viewing
monitor. There is a gym, work out apparatuses from all
disciplines, a climbing wall, fighting dummies and
targets. At the end of the giant cavern are state of the
art living quarters. Bruce directs everyone were to walk.
BRUCE
This way.
Bruce gets a few feet ahead of everyone. He looks on the
ground and sees a yellow dot (ground marker), and walks a
few feet past it. He stops everyone.
BRUCE
(to everyone) Wait a second?
Alfred, a word please?
Alfred walks to Bruce.
ALFRED
Master Wayne?
Bruce calls out an order out into the cavern.
BRUCE
Computer, Containment Field
Yellow!
Bars made of light beams from the floor to the ceiling
surround the aliens, caging them in. Bruce set them up.
BRUCE
Those are focused microwaves, if
you move you fry! Now what are you
doing here?
Wayne looks to Alfred standing next to him,

ALFRED
Master Wayne please!
BRUCE
Hold on Alfred.
Alfred then transforms into the Martian. Bruce is
shocked, he looks to the containment field and Diana
moves from behind Cyborg, she has Alfred and her hand is
over his mouth. Bruce starts swinging at The Martian. The
Martian fazes into phantom mode (hes transparent).
Bruces punches fly right through The Martians body like
he was swinging at a ghost. The Martian pleads,
MARTIAN
We do not have time for this.
Diana lets Alfred go, he pleads with Bruce.
ALFRED
Master Wayne, hear them out!
Bruce stops swinging. The Martian fazes back solid.
MARTIAN
(to Bruce) Please.
Bruce calls to the computer.
BRUCE
Computer, disable Containment
Field Yellow and activate Laser
Rain, target everything
biological that is not me.
Hundreds of laser cannons the size of Coke cans line the
walls and ceiling from the entrance of the hall all the
way to the end of it. Green laser dots, from the cannon
sights (some coming though the darkness from the back of
the cavern) cover the aliens and Alfred. The Martian
takes a step back and the laser cannons and green dots
follow.
BRUCE
Each one of those lasers could cut
you in half. So why are you here?
The aliens look to one another.
Nightwing reloads his utility belt. Toyman and The
Aquatic examine a wall lined with gadgets and weapons.
109.
TOYMAN
(to Nightwing) It looks like you
are going to war.
NIGHTWING
Maybe I am.
A call from Ayala comes through on the radio.
AYALA (V.O.)
I have located the others.
Nightwing responds on his radio.
NIGHTWING
Were on our way!
EXT. THE SKY - MOMENTS LATER
A large private jet flies through the sky.
INT. LARGE PRIVATE JET - MOMENTS LATER
Dr. Waller and her team are headed to Mexico City to
investigate reports of a man with wings. Waller is seated
at a window looking out, in thought. Operator #3
approaches, he has news he doesnt want to report.
OPERATOR #3
The crew of Aurora 2 turned up in
a strip club in North Dakota and
the president just wired you a
personal message.
He reads from a piece of paper.
OPERATOR #3
It says it is time to put boot to
ass, exclamation point. Yours or
theirs, question mark. End
message.
Operator #3 smiles nervously.
OPERATOR #3
And this just hit the web.
He hands her his cell phone. The video plays of the
aliens fighting Darkseid. She watches a few seconds and
turns and looks back out the window.
110.
DR. WALLER
The pictures getting clearer.
These out of towners, theyre
awol from that things army
(Darkseid). They steal Aurora 1
and 2 with zero collateral damage.
Now, we got another one pulling
people out of burning buildings
like some kind of hero.
INT. LABORATORY - MOMENTS LATER
Grodd lies unconscious on a examination table in the
middle of a large laboratory. His body is too big for the
table, his arms and legs lay limp over the sides. Heavy
footsteps are heard approaching Grodd. A large albino
gorilla hand nudges Grodds face. Grodd comes to and
looks to the thing thats waking him up, he cuts his
eyes, he raises his lips, shows his teeth and snarls.
(note: the albino gorilla hand belongs to Ultra Humanite,
a character that will be introduced as Ultra in a
possible part II of this story)
The albino gorilla hand rubs the crest of Grodds head to
calm him. A deep voice is heard coming from the owner of
the albino gorilla hand.
ALBINO GORILLA HAND (ULTRA)
(V.0.)
Calm yourself brother, there are
far too few of us left in the
universe to fight amongst
ourselves.
The aliens have explained everything to Bruce.
BRUCE
(to the aliens) Hes coming back?
Cyborg gestures yes. Bruce gives the aliens a hard
look, sighs, and gives the computer a command.
BRUCE
Computer, disable Laser Rain.
(to The aliens) We better get
started.
Laser Rain shuts off. Alfred raises both eyebrows, hes
surprised.

ALFRED
Well, that was easy enough.
BRUCE
What do you think Im doing here
Alfred?
ALFRED
I see you and Lucius Fox are back
in business. Dont think Im not
happy to see youve returned to
top form, but I expected that when
you vanished this time, and
billions of dollars were
transferred from our offshore
accounts, that you would turn up
in Monte Carlo or somewhere with
empty pockets and a small drinking
habit.
BRUCE
The fight got too big to rest on
old tactics. When I saw what Clark
and the Kryptonians could do, I
knew someone needed to be on
guard, even against our new
guardian.
ALFRED
So all of this is to protect the
world from aliens?
Suddenly an alarm is heard, red lights flash, Bruce
rushes to the computer. He pulls the remote from his
pocket and pushes it, giant metal doors slide together
and close the entrance. Bruce looks at the computer
screen.
BRUCE
(to the aliens) Heavy vehicles
just jumped my steel road blocks!
Bruce watches the large monitor.
BRUCE
You got to be kidding me? Computer
disable alert.
Bruce presses the remote and opens the large sliding
doors at the entrance. He gets in a steel basket elevator
and goes up.

BRUCE
(to the aliens) Park your aircraft
in the docking bay.
Above ground at the cliffs, a rock formation opens and
Bruce steps out of it. The Tumblers drive up to Bruce and
stop. Tumbler 1 opens and Nightwing exits and approaches
Bruce, Ayala hovers overhead. Tumbler 2 opens, The
Aquatic and Toyman stand up in the seat and look out.
Ayala gently touches down on the roof of Tumbler 2 and
perches.
Nightwing and Bruce stand face to face in a standoff
style for a few seconds staring at each other. Nightwing
takes off his helmet and looks Bruce up and down.
NIGHTWING
What are you doing here Wayne?
Bruce looks past Nightwing to Ayala and Tumbler 2.
BRUCE
New friends?
Nightwing looks past Bruce and sees The Martian in the
cockpit of Aurora 2 lifting off to dock inside the Hall
of Justice.
NIGHTWING
I could ask you the same thing.
Tumblers 1 and 2 drive down a ramp coming from above
ground leading to the docking bay, Ayala glides behind.
The tumblers park and everyone exits. Alfred greets
Nightwing. Alfred looks at his suit.
ALFRED
Detective Blake, you wear it well.
The aliens greet each other. Nightwing looks around.
NIGHTWING
(to Bruce) I know this place, its
an old lead mine right? Weve been
tracking one of these guys (The
Flash) and the trace just up and
dropped off. Must be the lead.

Bruce acknowledges yes.
NIGHTWING
This place is in the history
books, closed down a hundred years
ago. How did you build all of
this?
BRUCE
I acquired twenty of miles of real
estate around the place. Brought
in ten different crews from ten
different parts of the globe. Had
each crew build one section at a
time. Theyd build a section, Id
close it off.
NIGHTWING
So no one would see the finished
product, smart!
BRUCE
When it was all done, I just took
down the dividers.
NIGHTWING
Must have cost a pretty penny!
Alfred interjects.
ALFRED
And then some!
Alfred introduces himself to the other aliens.
BRUCE
I call it The Hall, cause its
one long...
NIGHTWING
Hall! Nice!
The Flash approaches Bruce.
THE FLASH
(to Bruce) Does this facility
contain food? Pizza is preferred.
BRUCE
Theres living quarters all the
way at the end, plenty of food,
maybe pizza.

Flash takes off at high speeds, Bruce does a double take
and he and Nightwing look to each other.
NIGHTWING
Aliens?
Superman gains consciousness, a medical (heart type)
monitoring device has been attached to him. He looks
around the room its dark, hes alone. He looks down, the
stone from Krypton is at his feet, giving off green
vapor. He realizes that the stone is making him sick.
In restraints, Superman can move on foot. He gets his
foot behind the stone and flicks the stone away from him.
Alfred introduces Diana to Bruce.
ALFRED
(to Bruce) This is Diana, she is a
princess.
DIANA
(modest) (to Bruce) The last
surviving princess of Themyscira.
ALFRED
(to Diana) This is Bruce Wayne,
the billionaire formerly known as
Prince of Gotham.
Bruce knows what Alfred is up to.
BRUCE
(to Diana) Just Bruce.
Alfred walks to Toyman and The Martian.
ALFRED
(to The Martian) You are called
Martian, but I assume that is from
whence you hail, what is your
name?

MARTIAN
For many species it is hard to
pronounce.
ALFRED
Try me.
The Martian enunciates.
MARTIAN
My name is Jonn Jonzz.
Alfred raises his eyebrow and enunciates.
ALFRED
John Jones? (facetious) That is a
tough one. (to Toyman) And your
name sir?
Toyman is a embarrassed.
TOYMAN
I am Toyman.
ALFRED
And how did you get that name?
TOYMAN
Darkseid. My function was to
repair his toys. And, he found
great amusement in telling me that
I was the size of nothing more
than a toy.
Alfred puts his hand on Toymans shoulder and offer
comforting words.
ALFRED
Well on this world we have a
saying. Good things come in small
packages.
Alfred gives him a reassuring smile and Toyman smiles
back. Bruce calls everyone together.
BRUCE
If his army is as large as you
say, with the same firepower he
displayed here, the best plan is
an extraction. We retrieve
Superman, he has the strength to
fight an entire army, but we have
to get him back here. We take your
space ship and...

Flash interjects with a mouth full of food.
THE FLASH
That is not a space ship.
BRUCE
Then what is it, where did you
get?
Embarrassed, Alfred and the aliens look to each other.
ALFRED
Lets just say its on loan from
the government.
BRUCE
So we have no way to get to
Apokolips?
Toyman steps forward.
TOYMAN
That is not entirely so.
Toyman goes into his pocket and pulls out the Mother box
(the wormhole controller).
TOYMAN
This can take us there.
He hands it to Bruce.
DIANA
It opens the tubes. Pathways from
one place to another. It is how we
got here.
BRUCE
An Einstein-Rosen Bridge?
The aliens have a questioned look on their faces.
BRUCE
A worm hole?
Flash interjects with a mouth full of food.
THE FLASH
A tube!
Bruce makes an okay then expression.

BRUCE
We will sneak into Apokolips,
quietly acquire the Kryptonian.
Once here, with the combined
efforts of this worlds armed
forces, Superman and all of us
working together, I believe we can
stop Darkseid.
Bruce looks to everyone like its just another job.
Everyone else looks to each other with an unsure look.
Alfred pats Toyman on the back.
ALFRED
(to Toyman) Good things!
The team spends the next few hours formulating a plan.
Cyborg teaches Bruce how to fly Aurora. They go over the
weapons and capabilities.
CYBORG
I have interfaced with this
ship...
BRUCE
Wait, you can interfaced with this
technology?
CYBORG
I can link with any device that
uses a digitally coded system.
Bruce has an interest in Aurora on multiple levels.
BRUCE
And you have the design
specifications for this ship and
its weapon system?
CYBORG
That information has been
downloaded and stored.
BRUCE
Nice to know.
Bruce looks at Tiny Tim.

make our way to Darkseids palace.
For fear of an assassination,
Darkseid does not allow slaves in
the palace at night, only

INT. THE LAB - THE HALL OF JUSTICE - LATER
Later, in the lab section of the Hall, Alfred sits two
shopping bags filled with bottles down on the table. He
grabs a bottle from the bag and shows it to the team.
ALFRED
Superman believed the source of
his strength came from the
radiation from our yellow sun. It
makes his body super produce large
amounts of this vitamin, vitamin
D.

We are going to treat this liquid
vitamin D with Ultra Violet
radiation, same as from the sun,
and maybe, if hes still hurt, it
will give him a well needed pick
me up.
Alfred switches an Ultra Violet lamp on.
Toyman passes out inner ear comlinks to everyone. The
Flash describes his battle tactics with Bruce.
THE FLASH
(bragging) Protocol Tired Man.
BRUCE
And that works?
THE FLASH
Every time.
The Aquatic gives Nightwing pointers on his exotic
fighting style.
INT. WEAPONS ROOM - THE HALL OF JUSTICE - MOMENTS LATER
In the weapons room of the Hall, two 3D printers
replicate Batman symbol Ninja stars and other devices
as seen on the printers monitor. Bruce loads a utility
belt with gadgets, clip on cylinders, squares and weapons
he pulls from a wall arsenal. The belt is military style
with large pockets all the way around. On a nearby table
the Batman suit is turned inside out. There are cables,
plating, and wires exposed. Diana enters the room and
browses the wall of weapons.
DIANA
It looks as if you were preparing
for war.
Bruce loads the belt.
BRUCE
(stoic) I am. It never ends. And
its best to prepare for any
situation, however unlikely.

Speaking of unlikely, how is it
that some of you have the ability
of fly?
Diana moves closer to Bruce.
DIANA
The forces, magnetic, gravity, do
you not feel them? They push
against us.
Diana clinches her fist against her stomach to
demonstrate.
DIANA
To fly, one need only to push
back. The harder you push, the
faster you fly. Have you never
tried?
BRUCE
Not quite in that way.
Bruce reaches for another weapon, Diana takes his hand
and places it on her stomach. Diana gently pushes against
the forces and slightly raises off the ground.
DIANA
Can you feel that?
Lacking relationship etiquette Bruce takes his hand from
her stomach and takes a step back. Diana is now a little
uncomfortable.
DIANA
Im sorry, I...
She takes a step back.
BRUCE
Um, no its fine. Maybe, you can
show me another time?
Feeling awkward, Bruce goes to his comfort zone and talks
weapons.

Let me show you how some of these

Alfred sits at the lab, the vitamin D for Superman sits
in a beaker under an Ultra Violet lamp. The Martian
approaches.
MARTIAN
Do you require any assistance?
ALFRED
Its simple enough, a few more
hours under this lamp should do
the trick. You look like a man
with a question in search of an
answer.
MARTIAN
You can read my mind?
ALFRED
No, but I am familiar with the
look on your face.
MARTIAN
(puzzled)The human species has
propagated to most corners of the
known universe, I have encountered
many. In all of those meetings one
constant has remained.
ALFRED
And that constant would be?
MARTIAN
There has never been a human mind
I could not read. That is until
today.
Alfred is intrigued.
ALFRED
To which human mind are we
referring?
The Martian looks in Bruces direction.
ALFRED
And what do you see when you try
to read his mind?
MARTIAN
Two words, repeated, non stop and
nothing else. No past thoughts, no
future hopes, only two words.

(concern) And the two words?
MARTIAN
The mission.
Alfred considers.
ALFRED
Bruce is what we would call an
anomaly, a departure from the
normal. But, if youd like to know
a thing or two about him, you have
come to the right person.
MARTIAN
May I know what you know?
The Martian is asking to read Alfreds thoughts.
ALFRED
Read my mind?
The Martian gestures yes.
ALFRED
I hope this doesnt require a
tongue in my ear because I saw
that in a movie once.
The Martian places his hand over Alfreds. He is now
accessing Alfreds memories of Bruce.
The Martian sees Bruce standing over the grave of his
parents and visions of his many actions as The Batman.
Alfred gently pulls his hand back and the link is broken.
ALFRED
Now you know everything you need
to know about Bruce Wayne.
The Martian looks to Bruce with curiosity.
Bruce examines the Tiny Tim nuclear device.
INT. THE HALL OF JUSTICE - HOURS LATER
One by one, the aliens and humans are seen headed for the
living quarters. Alfred is tidying up.

INT. WEAPONS ROOM - THE HALL OF JUSTICE - MOMENTS LATER
Bruce is working on the Batsuit, Toyman observes.
BRUCE
Im fitting it with Servo motors
and a pulleys. Strength and
movement should increase fifty
percent.
Toyman picks up a silver dollar sized motors and examines
it. Alfred walks in.
ALFRED
Try and gets some rest Master
Wayne. Ill see you two in the
morning.
Alfred exits. Toyman steps closer to the Batsuit.
TOYMAN
Alfred mentioned that you were
formerly a prince? And now you are
a fighter?
BRUCE
I was always a fighter, its what
Im good at. What about you?
TOYMAN
I was a scientist. Then a slave.
Now I could not say.
BRUCE
We are all who we choose to be.
Toyman takes his tool bag off and sits it on the table
and takes out some tools, he picks up the small motor.
TOYMAN
You wire the pulley system, Ill
see about increasing the output of
these motors.
Bruce and Toyman work together to remake the Batsuit.
EXT. SPACE - BLUE STAR - MOMENTS LATER
The last evacuating ships fly off. One by one, Green
Lantern power rings shut off and retract their green
beams of energy. Lanterns fly away in different
directions. Green Lantern #3 sends out a message to the
other members of the corps via his ring.

GREEN LANTERN #3
Members not returning to an
assignment are requested to
accompany in the recovery of the
lost Lantern Ayala.
Green Lantern #3 flies through space and other Lanterns
join his side.
Soldiers open the door and Darkseid enters the room.
Superman has started to slowly heal.
DARKSEID
Kryptonian, this is your day of
days. What course you take next
will ripple through the rest of
your existence, however long I
allow that to be. My armada
readies to invade your adopted
world. Give me the location of the
Equation and I will go there and
gently pick it, like fruit from
the vine. Defy me and I will go
there as a beast and clean my
claws upon its back. The choice is
yours.
Superman lifts his head and blasts Darkseid in the face
with his heat vision. Darkseid is thrown back into a
wall, he activates the shock band on Supermans head.
Superman convulses, his restraints and the room shake.
Darkseid stands in front of Superman, he enjoys pain, he
increases the power. Darkseid watches the room shake.
Darkseid shuts off the shock band, Superman drools.
Darkseid punches Superman in the face,he notices that
the sound and feel of the impact of the punch is
different. Superman is regaining strength and his skin is
growing tougher. Darkseid looks at his own fist and then
Supermans face. Darkseid scowls and then punches
Superman in the face again and again. The soldiers in the
room look away, its brutal. When Darkseid is done he
looks at his glove, theyre ripped.
DARKSEID
I will break you.
Darkseid walks away, he hears Superman laughing. Darkseid
turns around.

SUPERMAN
(out of breath) Darkseid. When I
get out of here, Im gonna knock
your shit in the dirt!
Darkseid cuts his eyes and activates the shock band.
EXT. DARKSEIDS INQUISITION CHAMBER - MOMENTS LATER
Outside of the door, Supermans screams are heard.
Tanks, warships and Parademons prepare to attack Earth.
INT. DOCKING BAY - THE HALL OF JUSTICE - THE NEXT MORNING
The docking bay doors are closed. The aliens and humans
gather at Aurora 2, Diana notices Bruce is not there.
DIANA
(to Alfred) Where is Bruce?
The docking bay doors open and the sunlight falls into
The Hall exposing Batman standing behind them in the
shadows. Flash is startled, the aliens have never seen
such a man. Alfred steps forward with the bottle of
radiated vitamin D.
ALFRED
Master Wayne, you are creeping out
your guests.
Nightwing (without his helmet) looks to Batman and grins.
NIGHTWING
Back in black? Lets do this.
Batman steps to Diana.
BATMAN
You ready?
DIANA
I know no other way.
Toyman approaches Batman.
TOYMAN
You left for rest before I
finished.

(advises and demonstrates) Big
movements, arm or leg will
activate the servo motors. I
enhanced them, so your strength
and speed might have been
increased more than fifty
percent...take it slow.
Batman clinches his fist and understands.
The team (minus Alfred and Toyman) boards Aurora 2,
Cyborg sits at the cockpit, everyone buckles up.
Batman is the last to board. Alfred stops him like a
concerned parent.
ALFRED
I dont want to embarrass you in
front of your friends but you are
leaving for another world.
Alfred puts his hand on the back of Batmans neck.
ALFRED
You come back.
Batman rests his hand on Alfreds shoulder.
BATMAN
I always do.
Alfred gives Batman the bottle of radiated vitamin D.
Batman enters and Aurora 2 lifts off.
Aurora 2 accelerates from zero to several hundred MPH.
EXT. THE HALL OF JUSTICE - MOMENTS LATER
With the hologram facade of the entrance activated, it
appears that the aircraft flew straight out of rock.

stand in the docking bay, Alfred close the large doors.
Toyman looks over at the new, half built Tumbler.
TOYMAN
Could I take a look at that?
ALFRED
Have at it. Im treating myself to
a cup of tea and an aspirin.
Alfred walks off and Toyman looks to the new Tumbler.
Diana stands at the cockpit, shes programing the Mother
Box to open a tube to Apokolips.
Aurora slows and then hovers over a field.
Using the Mother Box, Diana opens a small tube in the sky
above them. She hands the Mother Box to Cyborg and a
compartment on his arm opens up and he places it in it.
Diana turns to the others.
DIANA
What we do, we do for this world.
MARTIAN
And for redemption.
THE FLASH
For freedom.
BATMAN
For justice.
The weight of the challenge shows on their faces.
Aurora enters the tube and it closes behind them.

EXT. THE STREETS OF MEXICO CITY - MOMENTS LATER
Dr. Waller and team are in Mexico City tracking an alien
sighting. Waller is speaking to eye witnesses, Operator
#3 interrupts.
OPERATOR #3
Doppler radar just got a hit on
the temporal distortion. About
fifty miles outside of Gotham
City.
DR. WALLER
(to the witnesses) Gracias.
Waller and Operator #3 walk and talk.
DR. WALLER
These aliens are not moving like
an invading force.
OPERATOR #3
Should I alert troops to meet us
at the distortion?
DR. WALLER
Like it would help! See if the
Mexican military can spare a few
jets, we need to get there
ASAP!(considered) Hell, for shits
and giggles, put a couple gun
trucks on site. Contact Star Labs,
theyve been looking for a real
world test of their new rail
weapon, it cant get more real
than this.
EXT. NEBULA - SPACE - MOMENTS LATER
Green Lantern #3 flies through a brilliantly colored
nebula on the way to Earth. Its revealed that he is
joined by many other Green Lanterns of all species. The
number of them is not yet revealed.
Aurora speeds through the worm hole. Batman and
Nightwing look out of the cockpit, theyve never traveled
in space. Diana lays out their plan.
129.
DIANA
No invading force of any number
has ever penetrated the burning
atmosphere of Apokolips and left
with their life force intact. That
is where we shall succeed. This is
not an invasion, battle will have
to find us another day. Flash, The
Martian and Batman will enter
Darkseids palace and extract the
Krytonian. The rest will stand as
back up. We will exit as we enter,
without detection.
Darkseid changes gloves, Desaad enters with a tablet.
DESAAD
Your army is moments from ready my
lord. The day will be yours.
Darkseid clinches his fisted glove.
DARKSEID
The thing that should be mine is
within my grasp. I command a
record of this day be started, for
this day will ring through history
and time.
Desaad types on the tablet device.
DESAAD
All will know of this day.
Looking out of the cockpit, Apokolips can be seen from
the end of the tube.
CYBORG
Apokolips ahead! Remember, we must
reenter this tube where we exit.
EXT. APOKOLIPS - NIGHT
The tube opening is next to one of the planets giant
flaming pits. Aurora 2 flies out and lands in a dead and
dried up industrial area, its dark and empty.
130.
Everyone climbs out of the ship and takes defensive
positions around it. Ayala accesses the pocket dimension
and charges her ring. Darkseids palace can be seen in
the distance. Batman turns to the others.
BATMAN
If we run into trouble, watch for
my sign.
THE AQUATIC
What sign?
BATMAN
All Hell breaking loose.
Flash grabs Batman and The Martian by their sides and
takes off running with them at blinding speeds.
DIANA
(to the others) Guard this
position.
EXT. INDUSTRIAL AREA OF APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
Diana and Ayala fly to the top of burnt out smoke stacks
and watch the palace and Parademon troops on the ground
surrounding it. Cyborg, The Aquatic and Nightwing cover
each side of the ship.
Through his visors night vision optics, Nightwing spots a
dozen soldiers and four snarling dog like creatures
approaching them from behind their position. Nightwing
taps the comlink to alert the others.
NIGHTWING
Freaks on a leash and a dozen
armed targets headed this way.
The Aquatic responds over Nightwings comlink.
THE AQUATIC (V.O.)
The Runaway Patrols.
Nightwing runs into the darkness and radios.
131.
NIGHTWING (V.O.)
Ill draw their attention!
Cyborg turns on night camouflage and takes flight. The
Aquatic takes off running, passing through broken down
structures. Diana, Ayala and Cyborg fly overhead in a
three point pattern over the patrol.
Nightwing gets the patrols attention, he holds down the
comlink button on his helmet and it becomes a megaphone.
NIGHTWING
(to the patrol) Drop your weapons
and step away from whatever those
things are!(leashed beasts)
The patrollers let the snarling beasts go. The beasts
take off running towards Nightwing. With force, Nightwing
throws both arms with fisted hands straight out in front
of him, the force cocks both of his gauntlets like
shotguns. The beasts get within striking distance of him,
Nightwing clinches his palms (which is the trigger
mechanism) and fires multiple tranquilizer darts at the
beasts. The darts hit but the beasts keep coming, he
keeps on cocking his gauntlets and firing on them. The
beasts lunge at Nightwing and collapse at his feet, the
tranquilizers have kicked in. Nightwing engages the
patrollers.
The Aquatic has gotten behind the patrollers, he attacks
throwing punches and kicks. Cyborg, Diana and Ayala
descend from above and Nightwing joins in. The beating is
swift, quiet and brutal. The patrollers lay limp on the
ground. Cyborg scans the area with his mechanical eye.
CYBORG
We are clear.
EXT. SPACE - OUTSIDE OF THE PLANET URANUS - MOMENTS LATER
Green Lanterns of yet unknown numbers fly past the planet
Uranus. Green Lantern #2 flies close to Green Lantern #3.
GREEN LANTERN #2
My ring has detected a tube
distortion on Earth. It is the
same frequency as the one recorded
on the rings of our dead Lanterns.
GREEN LANTERN #3
Our search starts at that tube.
132.
EXT. OUTSIDE OF DARKSEIDS PALACE - MOMENTS LATER
Outside of the palace, a onr hundred foot tall statue of
Darkseids stands, it is surrounded by hundreds of armed
Parademons guarding the entrance. Possessing no
intelligence, their eyes are empty, their drooling mouths
are filed with rows of jagged teeth.
Carrying Batman and The Martian, Flash runs through and
past the guards with ease. The Parademons react to the
wind that The Flash generates as he passes.
INT. DARKSEIDS PALACE - MOMENTS LATER
Still running and unseen, Flash and company enter the
palace. Flash runs through twists and turns, through
halls and down stairways lined with Parademons.
Unnoticed, they make their way to the corridor of
Darkseids private interrogation chambers.
EXT. INNER CORRIDOR LEADING TO DARKSEIDS PRIVATE
INQUISITION CHAMBERS - MOMENTS LATER
Flash and team stop at the opening of a corridor. Flash
pokes his head around a corner to see down the corridor,
Batman pulls him back and shakes his head no. Batman
holds up his index finger in front of Flash, it looks
like hes signaling wait a minute but Flashs eyes
focuse in on the fingerprint area of Batmans glove and
sees the iris of a tiny camera lens open and close, Flash
understands. Batmans pokes the tip of his finger out
into the corridor like a tiny periscope. A tiny
holographic video projects over Batmans right eye
showing what the finger camera picks up. He sees three
chamber doors with four armed Parademons at each door.
Batman uses hand signals to let The Martian and Flash
know what the plan of attack is. Batman holds up three
fingers on his right hand and then four fingers on his
left to indicate 3 teams of 4. Batman holds up one
finger and points to himself, two fingers and points to
The Martian and three fingers and points to Flash
(indicating who gets the first, second and third team of
Parademons). The Martian and Flash nod that they
understand. Batman nods to them and the three bolt off
around the corner.
133.
INT. INNER CORRIDOR LEADING TO DARKSEIDS PRIVATE
The Martian turns the corner and takes flight, he heads
for his assigned Parademons. The Flash blurs around the
corner and heads for the Parademons farthest away from
their starting point. Flash reaches his targets first, he
runs to them and without stopping, he punches his four
Parademons in the face as he passes them. The other teams
of Parademons react to the sound of the punches but cant
see who through them. Flash throws rapid fire punches.
Batman runs to his targets and leaps forward and crashes
his knee into the face of one Parademons and blood flies
from the impact. Batman lands, turns to the another and
takes a sweeping punch, it connects and the jaw of the
Parademon detaches and hangs. A Parademon slashes at
Batman with its claws. The Parademon slashes deep claw
marks across Batmans mask. Batman grabs the head of the
Parademon, leaps into the air and smashes the Parademons
head into his knee, the creature falls. The fourth of
Batmans targets takes a swing at him. Batman swings back
at the Parademons fist and the two connect. A ripple like
breaking of the Parademons hand and arm occur. The flesh
of the Parademons arm rips open and shards of the broken
bones protrude from the skin. Batman then throws elbow
after elbow into the creatures face. Batman realizes that
Toymans enhancements of his suit were far greater than a
50 percent increase.
Flying toward his targets, The Martian shape shifts his
arms and hands into large alien crab like scissor claws.
The Martian jams his scissor claws into the throats and
chops their heads off. The Martian morphs back into
normal form. The Martian gestures that they each check
the interrogation chamber in front of them.
INT. FIGHTER JETS IN FLIGHT - MOMENTS LATER
Flying shotgun in several Mexican fighter jets Dr.
Waller, Operator #3 and other team members fly to the
site of the distortion caused by the tube opening.
INT. NEWS VAN FOR GNN (GOTHAM NETWORK NEWS) - MOMENTS
LATER
A sloppy camera man for GNN comes back to the van with
coffee and donuts. A reporter waits in the van.
NEWS MAN
Its about time!

CAMERA MAN
Sorry your highness!
He passes the coffee to the reporter.
NEWS MAN
I just got a call from a
weatherman buddy of mine from down
in D.C. He says when that hole in
the sky opened up and those aliens
crawled out, the Doppler radar had
a conniption. He says it just
happened again less than an hour
outside of town. And guess whos
gonna be first on the scene?
They two repeat their mantra.
CAMERA MAN AND NEWS MAN
If it bleeds, it leads!
INT. DARKSEIDS INQUISITION CHAMBER #1 - MOMENTS LATER
Batman opens the door to inquisition room #1. In the
corner he spots two small figures sitting on the floor
holding each other. He steps closer to see that it is two
humanoid alien children approximately three years old,
they are girl and boy twins dressed in rags. Their ankles
are shackled and chained to the floor. Batman kneels down
to get a closer look at them, the twins cringe, Batman
comforts them.
BATMAN
I wont hurt you.
Batman reaches into the side of his boot and pulls out a
small laser cutting tool and begins to cut the chains.
The boy sticks out his finger like a curious three year
old would and touches Batmans nose. Batman looks to the
child and to his surprise it has morphed into a three
year old sized version of himself sitting on the floor,
suit, mask and all. The micro Batman looks at him and
smiles. Batman moves back and observes the girl stick her
finger out, the micro Batman touches it and then the
girl morphs into a micro Batman as well.
INT. DARKSEIDS INQUISITION CHAMBER #2 - MOMENTS LATER
The Martian enters the second inquisition chamber. There
is a man chained to the wall with a shock collar on his
head.

INT. DARKSEIDS INQUISITION CHAMBER #3 - MORNING
Flash opens the door of inquisition chamber #3 and slowly
enters, hes disturbed at what he sees. Supermans face
is bloody, torn and swollen. Superman doesnt look up and
assumes its Darkseid.
SUPERMAN
Ready for another round?
Flash puts a gentle hand on Supermans restraints.
THE FLASH
Were here to help.
SUPERMAN
We?
Batman enters holding the hands of the two micro
Batmans. Flash look at Batman and does a double take.
Batman lets their hands go and slowly walks to Superman.
Superman looks down at Batman.
SUPERMAN
The Dark Knight returns!
Batman grimaces at the state of Supermans face.
SUPERMAN
That rock over there, its poison
to me.
Flash picks up the stone and throws it out of the room.
The stone hits the wall and cracks into smaller pieces,
exposing a green glowing core.
Batman opens a pockets on his belt and takes out the
bottle of radiated vitamin D. The Martian enters carrying
the man from inquisition room #2 over his shoulder.
FLASH
(to The Martian) who is that?
MARTIAN
His name is Jason Blood and we
have to take him with us.
The Martian looks down to the two micro Batmans.
MARTIAN
Who are they?
Flash shrugs his shoulders. Batman cant reach Supermans
mouth because hes hanging high on the cross.

Batman hands the bottle to The Martian and gestures to
give it to Superman.
BATMAN
(to Superman) This is radiated
vitamin D.
The Martian lowers Jason Blood to the floor and morphs
into a twenty legged alien spider, he climbs up the wall
next to Superman. The spider(The Martian) puts the bottle
to his mouth and pours in the contents. Superman chugs
the drink. Superman winces and groans.The Martian jumps
from the wall to the ground and morphs back into himself.
He picks up Jason Blood.
BATMAN
(to The Martian) Get back to the
ship.
THE FLASH
(to Batman) Can you get him out of
here?
BATMAN
Its going to be hard to stop me.
Flash picks up the children and runs from the room.
Batman reaches into a pocket on his belt and hands The
Martian three small black balls.
MARTIAN
Explosives?
BATMAN
Distractions, smash them at your
feet and move. Go.
Batman pulls out the small laser cutting tool and puts it
on Supermans restraints when Superman begins to shake
violently. The sound of bones snapping back into place is
heard. Batman steps back. Superman stretches his neck and
flexes his chest, his body is healing itself.
SUPERMAN
Stand away.(rage) Stand away!
Batman stands back and the sound of metal whining and
buckling is heard. The metal restraints on Superman
bulge, Batman raises his cape to his face like a shield.
Superman bursts from his restraints, metal flies
everywhere. Superman stretches his back and chest, bones
crack. His fist drop to his side, he clinches them.
137.
BATMAN
Its time to go!
Superman is overtaking by rage.
SUPERMAN
Darkseid. (rage) Darkseid!
(screams) Darkseid!
BATMAN
Superman!
Superman walks to the door, winces and shields himself
from the green glow of the broken stone and takes flight
down the corridor. Batman follows Superman out the door
then stops and looks at the glowing green stone.
EXT. INNER CORRIDOR LEADING TO DARKSEIDS PRIVATE
Superman flies out of the corridor.
Using his x-ray vision to see through walls, Superman
flies passed Parademons, Batman follows. A Parademon
pushes a button on a wall panel and an alarm sounds. The
ground floor of the palace flashes red and the wall,
doors and windows go into locked down mode. Flying,
Superman zig zags through passageways on the ground floor
of the palace. Still following, Batman has small
skirmishes with Parademons along the way, Superman
ignores them in his search for Darkseid.
Undetected, Flash runs past hundreds of Parademns with
the two micro Batmans.
The Martian has morphed into a Parademon and walks out
with Jason Blood over his shoulder. An alarm on the
Parademons staffs sounds off and they take notice of The
Martian.
From atop the smoke stacks Ayala and Diana see a
commotion at the palace.

DIANA
This can not be good.
Just then, Flash arrives with the micro Batmans.
THE FLASH
We have Kryptonian.
Cyborg and The Aquatic notice the Micro Batmans. They
seem puzzled.
THE AQUATIC
(to Cyborg) Perhaps Batman is
familiar with their mother?
The Parademons confront The Martian with growls. The
Martian is surrounded. The Martian uses the black balls
that Batman gave him. The Martian slams the black balls
unto the ground. A black impenetrable cloud of smoke ten
feet wide and fifteen feet tall envelopes The Martian,
Jason Blood and the Parademons. A second later, with
Jason Blood over his shoulder, The Martian rises from the
smoke, morphs back into himself and flies back to Aurora
2. The Parademons sift through the cloud of smoke.
Superman stops in the middle of a large room, scans 360
degrees with x-ray vision, then slowly turns his eyes
upward. Superman sees through floors and ceilings to
Darkseids throne room. Superman leaps straight up from
the floor, breaking it. He crashing through floors and
ceilings on his way to the throne room.
Batman reaches the spot where Superman just crashed
through the ceiling, he looks up to sees Superman flying
upward. He knows Superman has super hearing, he addresses
him quietly by name.
BATMAN
Clark, we dont know how long your
strength will last.
Superman hears Batman, scowls and continues. Batman
reaches under his cape and pulls out the Grapple Grip.
Parademons are closing in on Batman from all sides.
Batman fires the grapple grip, it catches hold of
something, he retracts it and it quickly pulls him up.
The Parademons leap after him.
139.
Batman pulls a small cylinder attached to the side of his
utility belt, activates it and drops it on the
Parademons. The cylinder goes beep beep beep, and
explodes.
The Martian lands with a thud.
THE AQUATIC
(to The Martian) Who is this?
The Martian carries Jason Blood to the ship.
MARTIAN
He will be of use.
They watch an explosion rock the ground floor of
Darkseids palace.
DIANA
What is that?
THE AQUATIC
I believe that is all Hell
breaking loose.
NIGHTWING
Thats Batman.
Flying upward and using x-ray vision, Superman sees
Darkseid in his throne room.
INT. TENTH FLOOR OF DARKSEIDS PALACE - MOMENTS LATER
Batman climbs out of the hole on the tenth floor of the
palace, he takes another cbomb from his belt and throws
it to the side. He fires the grapple grip upward
ascends. The bomb is heard beeping and then it explodes.
With fists extended, Superman bursts through the floor of
the throne room at Darkseids feet and punches him on the
chin. Darkseid is stunned, Superman delivers blow after
blow to Darkseids head. The sound of the blows resinate
through the room.

INT. ONE FLOOR BELOW THE THRONE ROOM OF DARKSEIDS PALACE
- MOMENTS LATER
Batman stops a floor before the throne room, he hears and
feels the thuds and looks up. Batman activates his sonar
vision, a small hologram viewer appears over his right
eye. When Superman hits Darkseid the shock waves ripple
through the room and can be seen on Batmans sonar.
Superman gets on Darkseids chest and punches him in the
face. Darkseid grabs Superman by the face and throws him
off. Superman hits a wall and falls to the floor.
Darkseid gets up and rushes to Superman and picks him up
by the neck. Superman blasts Darkseid in the eyes with
his heat vision. Darkseid cries out in pain, he is
momentarily blinded, he lets Superman go.
DARKSEID
The equation gives you power!
Relinquish it!
Superman punches Darkseid out unto the balcony.
- MOMENTS LATER
Batman can see from the sonar ripples of Supermans
punches that they are getting weaker, the ripples are
getting smaller. The radiated vitamin D is wearing off.
Superman punches Darkseid in the face and it cuts his
knuckles. He does it again and his hand is heard
cracking. The strength Superman had is gone. Darkseids
momentary blindness has passed. Superman falls to his
knees, power is spent. Darkseid stands over Superman.
Darkseid smashes his fist down on Supermans shoulder,
Superman hits the floor face down. Superman tries to get
up but Darkseid punches him back to the floor.
DARKSEID
Did you not know that you would
find yourself at my feet?
Superman lies on the balcony, Darkseid looks out over the
balcony.

DARKSEID
If I had not extinguished a
thousand souls today, and a
thousand the day before and still
at least a thousand a day since I
came to rule, then your death
would hold a greater meaning. Of
course, that is all to say that
your death is without meaning, as
is your life. But fear not, if
this logic escapes you I am here
to show you the light.
Darkseid turns his eyes to Superman. The Omega Beam
blasts out of Darkseids eyes and covers Superman. The
beam is continuous. Superman cries out in pain.
Supermans skin blisters and sizzles.

Batman watches from one floor below with his sonar
vision. He knows its time to move. Batman switches off
the sonar vision.
EXT. AURORA 2 - INDUSTRIAL AREA OF APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS
LATER
A call comes out on every ones comlink.
BATMAN (V.O.)
This is Batman. Im going to need
air support in 30 seconds at the
top the palace.
With the twins and Jason Blood already inside, Nightwing
and The Aquatic jump into Aurora 2, Cyborg pilots.
CYBORG
(to Batman) We are in route!
- MOMENTS LATER
Batman squats and bends his legs to test the motors that
Toyman enhanced, he then leaps up twenty feet and out of
the hole in the floor of the throne room.
142.
In the throne room, Batman sees Darkseid and Superman out
on the balcony. Darkseid is still blasting Superman.
An air raid type alarm sounds, the armies of Apokolips
stand ready for command. Parademons climb into the
exoskeletal aircrafts and power them up.
The palace of our lord is under
attack! Make your way there!
A soldier at a radar type console turns to the commander.
APOKOLIPS SOLDIER
(pointing) There! A tube has been
opened!
Send troops. Do they know this is
Apokolips? These fools have come
to die.
Soldiers/slaves look to each other in disbelief.
Parademons in fighter aircraft and giant tanks move
toward the palace.
INT . DARKSEIDS THRONE ROOM - MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid continues to blast Superman with his Omega Beam.
Superman is on fire.
DARKSEID
Where is my equation?
In the background, Batman slips on a shock knuckle. He
takes off running, leaps into the air, (higher than
normal because of the suit enhancements) and on his way
down he smashes Darkseid in the face with a Superman
Punch. The shock knuckles explode and shatters on
Darkseids face. Stunned, Darkseid falls to the ground.
Still burning, Superman struggles through the pain.
SUPERMAN
(to Batman) Run.
Batman grabs a tiny pellet from his belt and throws it on
Superman. A white vapor rushes over him extinguishing the
flames.

Darkseid pushes himself off the floor and turns his head
and fiery eyes to Batman. Batman takes another pellet and
throws it in Darkseids face, the vapor washes over his
head and extinguishes the flames in his eyes. Darkseid
grabs his eyes and groans. Batman grabs Superman by the
collar and drags him to the edge of the balcony and then
jumps off, taking Superman with him. Darkseid stands up
and looks over his balcony to see Batman rising up
slowly, standing on top of Aurora 2, his cape flies in
the wind, Superman lies smoking at his feet and he has
Tiny Tim (the shoulder to site nuclear missile) hoisted
over his shoulder. Nightwing and The Aquatic stand in the
open hatch of Aurora 2. Batman looks Darkseid in the
eyes. Darkseids eyes begin to flame, he is about to fire
the Omega Beam. Batman screams,
BATMAN
Stay... away... from Earth!
Batman fires Tiny Tim. The missile hits Darkseid and
knocks him through the floor of the palace. Tiny Tim
detonates. A flash of light shoots through every window
in the palace, loor by floor exploding. Vapor rushes over
the grounds surrounding the palace taking out the
Parademon guards. Aurora 2 backs away and clears the
blast radius. The palace implodes.
In route to the palace, The Martian, Flash, Ayala and
Diana watch the palace fall. The Martian marvels at what
Batman has been done.
MARTIAN
(to himself) He is a human like no
other.
They watch hundreds of Parademons fighters headed for
Aurora 2.
DIANA
(to the others) It seems that
battle has found us after all.
The battle scarred commander watches the palace fall.
(surprised) My lord?
144.
Parademon aerial fighters fire their laser weapons at
Aurora 2. To avoid a hit, Aurora 2 quickly tilts to one
side, an unconscious Superman rolls of the roof of the
ship and Batman dives off the ship after him. Nightwing
jumps from the hatch to assist. The hatch of the ship
closes and the ship takes a defensive position.
EXT. THE SKY OVER DARKSEIDS DESTROYED PALACE - MOMENTS
LATER
Mid air, Batman reaches for Superman, he looks to his
side and Nightwing is falling along side him and doing
the same. Fifty feet before they all crash to the ground,
both Batman and Nightwing grab on to a piece of Superman
and simultaneously they deploy their gliders. They glide
roughly to the ground.
EXT. THE GROUND, OUTSIDE OF THE DESTROYED PALACE -
MOMENTS LATER
Batman, Nightwing and Superman hit the ground and roll to
a stop.
LATER
The Parademon aerial fighters move like a swarm. Aurora 2
fires the Whistler Weapon into the swarm, hitting many,
they explode and crash to the ground.
MOMENTS LATER
The wreckage from the downed fighters hit the ground and
roll on a direct course for Batman, Superman and
Nightwing. Batman sees the wreckage coming and throws his
body over Superman and Nightwing. With only a foot from
the wreckage slamming into Batman a green beam catches
and contains the flying debric. The green beam is traced
back to Ayalas power ring.
BATMAN
(to Ayala) Get him (Superman) back
to the ship!
Ayala uses the green beam to pick up Superman.
145.
Aurora 2 continues to fire on the fighters. Viewed from
the cockpit, the giant tanks roll their way. Cyborg taps
his comlink.
CYBORG
Cyborg to Martian.
MARTIAN (V.O.)
Proceed.
CYBORG
My guns are needed on the ground.
The Martian fazes into the ship and he and Cyborg switch
places.
MARTIAN
Hit them hard!
The hatch of the ship opens and Cyborg and The Aquatic
jump out. Ayala arrives and places Superman in the ship
and flies off. The two micro Batmans are strapped in.
MOMENTS LATER
Cyborg lowers The Aquatic to the ground by his trident
holster. The team gathers. Aurora 2, is dodging the
swarm. The Martian comlinks.
MARTIAN (V.O.)
I will lead them away.
EXT. THE SKIES OVER APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
Zig zagging through buildings, Aurora 2 leads the swarm
on a chase away from the rest of the team.
MOMENTS LATER
With her power ring, Ayala forms a force field around the
team as they discuss their next move. They look to the
area where they opened the tube and its now guarded by a
wall of thousands of troops and attack machines.
THE AQUATIC
(to the others) We are now stuck
on Apokolips.
146.
Their guns would shred us before
we ever reached the tube. This
fight was not in the plans.
Flash looks to the fallen palace.
FLASH
(impressed) But if you have to
fight, this is the way to do it.
The Diana surveys Apokolips, the place she hates so much.
DIANA
If we cannot leave, then let us
make sure nothing else can either.
Cyborg, what would it take to stop
those tanks?
CYBORG
An explosion on the core
containment wall.
DIANA
Flash, can you reach their cores?
Flash gives Diana an are you kidding me look. Batman
reaches behind his back and pulls off a grenade holster
with a dozen custom bombs on it and hands it to Flash.
BATMAN
Each one is magnetic, just press
the button and run.
FLASH
I can do that.
Batman turns to Nightwing.
BATMAN
You holding?
NIGHTWING
I learned from the best didnt I?.
Nightwing presents The Flash with two hands full of small
bombs.
The Aquatic taps his comlink.
THE AQUATIC
Martian.
The Martian has read his mind.
147.
MARTIAN (V.O.)
Understood! Flash and I will hit
out the tanks.
THE AQUATIC
(to the others) Let us take this
place apart.
CYBORG
If youre going to destroy
something this evil, your going to
need a wrecking machine.
Cyborg steps out of Ayalas force field and both of his
arms transform into laser cannons. Panels on his back
open up and two more cannons perch on his shoulders. Two
laser guns come out of panels that open on his sides and
a plasma blaster opens like an iris on his chest, he is a
weapon. Cyborg opens fire with everything in every
direction.
Ayala creates a big gun with a blast shield and she and
The Aquatic open fire on the fighters.
To draw their fire and create a diversion for Flash,
Aurora 2 flies towards the giant tanks. The tanks fire on
it. A few stray fighters follow Aurora 2 into the line of
fire.
From the cockpit, The Martian watches Flash run.
INT. NEWS VAN FOR GNN (GOTHAM NETWORK NEWS) - DAYTIME ON
EARTH - MOMENTS LATER
The news man and camera man speed to the location of the
tube opening. The news man is on the phone with station
director of GNN.
NEWS MAN
Get those satellites warmed up!
EXT. THE GROUND, OUTSIDE OF THE DESTROYED PALACE - NIGHT
ON APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
The team fires on the Parademon areal fighters.

THE AQUATIC
The Parademon is not a precision
fighter but they have numbers on
their side.
Overhead, hundreds of Parademon fighters pass over and
fire at the team. The laser blasts are deflected by
Ayalas big gun field.
BATMAN
(to Nightwing) Is that belt
equipped with EMP?
(electromagnetic pulse disables
machines ran on electronics)
NIGHTWING
Hundred foot radius.
BATMAN
(to Nightwing) Lets work.
Batman fires his grapple grip into the air and catches on
to one of hundreds of aerial Parademon fighters, hes
lifted off the ground and into the sky. The grapple grip
retracts and Batman is pulled toward the aircraft.
Nightwing pulls out his grapple gun and does the same.
Diana deflects laser blasts with her bracelets, takes
flight, draws her sword and hacks away at Parademons.
LATER
Hovering, Ayala fires on the fighters.
MOMENTS LATER
Runaway Patrols show up and unleashes their snarling
beasts, they rush Cyborg, the sound of the beasts crying
out is heard. The Aquatic fires his trident.
EXT. PARADEMON ONE MAN FIGHTING AIRCRAFT - MOMENTS LATER
Batman and Nightwing are riding piggy back on aerial
Parademon fighters. Batman taps his comlink.
BATMAN
Nightwing engage.
149.
Simultaneously, Batman and Nightwing both engage the EMP
on their belts and the sound of the hundreds of Parademon
fighters powering down is heard. The fighters go dark,
fall from the sky and explode on impact.
MOMENTS LATER
Falling fighters crash into the large Darkseid statue.
THE AQUATIC
Sucks to be them!
EXT. PARADEMON ONE MAN FIGHTING AIRCRAFT - MOMENTS LATER
Batman and Nightwing jump from the falling fighters and
deploy their gliders and glide through the sky. Ayala
approaches and flies next to Nightwing. Diana approaches
and flies next to Batman.
DIANA
(to Batman) The Kryptonians trust
in you is well placed.
Batman looks to the ground and sees oncoming laser fire
headed their way from ground troops. Batman grabs Diana
in air, disables his glider and rolls the two of them to
avoid being hit. Batman lets go of her and deploys his
glider and coasts down to the ground. Diana lands next to
him, shes impressed. Ayala and Nightwing follow.
EXT. STREETS OF APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
With explosives in hand, Flash runs toward the tanks.
The Martian fires on the tanks. He taps his comlink.
MARTIAN
Flash, it is now time for you to
do what you do best.
At blurring speeds Flash taps his comlink.
THE FLASH
I love it when you talk that way.
150.
Flash picks up speed, he runs so fast that everything
around him seems to be frozen in a motionless pose. Flash
runs past Runaway patrols and their leashed beasts,
Parademons and slave troops surrounding the tanks. He
looks to the sky to see Aurora 2 and thousands of
fighters suspended in mid air and laser blasts leaving
their weapons but moving very slow. Static electricity
crackles around Flash.
EXT. GOTHAM INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT - DAYTIME ON EARTH -
MOMENTS LATER
Dr. Waller and team board two blacked out helicopters.
EXT. THE FREEWAY - MOMENTS LATER
Two military trucks escort an eighteen wheeler from Star
Labs, its carrying a fifty foot canon covered in a tarp.
MOMENTS LATER
Parademon ground troops head for the fallen palace. In
the distance tanks roll toward the palace. Flash comes
out of hyper speed in front of his team.
THE FLASH
(urgant) Were going to need a lot
more bombs! I heard a
communication calling all forces
to our position.
CYBORG
What we need are a billion freed
souls to stand at our side.
THE FLASH
The slave camps?
CYBORG
Let them know that today they have
a chose.
Flash likes the sound of that, he runs off. The tanks
roll closer.
THE AQUATIC
(to Flash) What of the tanks?
Just then, explosions rock the giant tanks. Thousands of
Parademon ground troops advance on the team.
151.
EXT. SLAVE CAMP #1 , APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
In hyper speed, Flash approaches one of several slave
camps, blurs into a control room, presses a few buttons
and opens all of the doors to the slave camp. Flash
speaks into a microphone on the console.
THE FLASH
(to the slaves) Fight for your
freedom!
Flash beats up guards on his way out of the camp.
INT. SLAVE CAMP #1 - MOMENTS LATER
Creatures of all different species timidly come out of
their confinements (cells, tanks of liquid, freezers and
fire pits) and run out of the camps.
From a distance, all over the planet Flash is seen
running at hyper speeds from one slave camp to another
freeing slaves.
MOMENTS LATER
The team fights on.
EXT. APOKOLIPS - ON THE GROUND - DARKSEIDS TROOPS -
MOMENTS LATER
The battle scarred commander stands at a console and
requests backup from Watchtower, a weaponized space
station orbiting Apokolips.
Watchtower this is ground command,
our lord has been taken! Fire your
primary weapon on the palace and
destroy the attackers!
The Martian looks out of the cockpit window down on the
carnage below and comlinks.

DIANA
(to the team) Ground forces are
near crippled.
THE FLASH (V.O.)
The slave camps liberated.
MARTIAN
(to the team) If we could take
those troops surrounding the
tube...
MOMENTS LATER
Just then, a red blasts hits Aurora 2, destroying its two
back engines. Aurora 2 spirals out of the sky and hits
the ground. Through the dust and debris of the palace,
Darseids glowing red eyes emerge. Darkseid fires another
blast and it hits Ayala in the chest, she falls from the
sky and hits the ground. Flash comes out of hyper speed.
Darkseid fires rapid blasts that hit Flash and The
Aquatic. Diana deflects the blast with her bracelets but
is still thrown back from the blow. Batman takes cover
and Nightwing rushes to Ayala. With all of his cannons,
Cyborg blasts blindly into the smoke and debris of the
palace. A blast comes out of the smoke and hits Cyborg in
the arm holding the Mother Box, another blast hits him in
the chest knocking him to the ground.
DIANA
It can not be!
Darkseid steps out of the shadows. His molten insides
drip out from his wounds. Darkseid walks toward Diana.
DARKSEID
I am Darkseid. My will be done.
Did the lashes across your backs
not remind you?
EXT. WATCHTOWER SPACE STATION - MOMENTS LATER
Watchtower space station fires thrusters.
The Martian gathers himself, he looks back to the two
children.
153.
The two children have changed back from Micro Batmans
into their normal forms, they are scared, they hold each
other. Superman goes in and out of consciousness.
MARTIAN
(to the children) Everything will
be fine. (to himself) It has to
be.
Sparks fly from the cockpit, he tries to get the ship off
the ground but two motors are destroyed. An on screen
gage shows that the ships weapon system is low on power.
From the cockpit he can see Darkseid headed in their
direction. The Martian taps his comlink.
MARTIAN
This ship is badly damaged,
weapons systems are low on power.
In his mechanical eye, Cyborg scans downloaded data for
Aurora 2 and finds a solution.
CYBORG (V.O.)
(to Martian) I can teach you how
to reroute power to the weapon.
EXT. THE GROUND, OUTSIDE OF THE DESTROYED PALACE - NIGHT
ON APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
DARKSEID
(to the team) Fools, now you will
know the order of things.
The Martian reroutes wires, the ships weapon powers
up.With the one good engine in front, The Martian moves
Aurora 2 to target Darkseid. Darkseids eyes illuminate
again, he is about to fire his beam. But then, in rapid
fire, a dozen globs of glue with a small devices embedded
in it splatter on Darkseids face and eyes. Batman Has
fired sticky bombs on Darkseids face, the timer on the
bombs count down from three seconds and explode. Darkseid
falls to the ground. The Martian is heard over the
comlink.
MARTIAN (V.O.)
The weapon is charged!
Aurora 2 fires on Darkseid knocking him back a mile.
MARTIAN
(to the team) Get the wounded on
board!
154.
The hatch of Aurora 2 opens. The Martian helps Cyborg
aboard, Diana and Batman rush to help The Aquatic and
Flash. Ayala is hurt the worst. Nightwing carries her.
Ayala looks to him, she spits up blood.
AYALA
(to Nightwing) Directive six
sixteen states that if a Green
Lantern looses their will, if they
have been injured to the extent
that they can no longer fulfill
their duties, (coughs up blood)
they have the authority to
deputize a ring barer. You need
only put it on.
Ayala pulls off the ring. She holds her thumb to the
Green Lantern symbol on the ring, the ring glows green.
Ayala collapses in Nightwings arms. He rushes her to the
hatch of Aurora 2. As the two approach the ship, a blast
hits Nightwing in the back, knocking he and Ayala to the
ground. Nightwing is wounded badly. The Green Lantern
power ring hits the ground and rolls to Batmans feet.
Darkseid is heading for the team again. The side of his
face is cracked in multiple places. Batman and Diana get
Nightwing and Ayala into the ship. Ayala momentarily
wakes and looks to Nightwing, injured and lying beside
her, she looks to Batman.
AYALA
Choose your weapons wisely, the
rings power is draining.
Ayala passes out.
MARTIAN
(to Diana) We must find sanctuary.
Diana looks to Darkseid in despair.
DIANA
It makes no matter. We are done.
The dark forces that move him will
never allow us to leave.
Calmly Batman picks up Ayalas ring.
BATMAN
(to Diana) Get them out of here.
DIANA
What will you do?
Batman looks to Darkseid approaching.

BATMAN
Introduce him to the dark forces
that move me.
Diana takes flight with Aurora 2 on her back, she looks
down to Batman.
MOMENTS LATER
Batman looks to the ring, its size increases to fit him.
He puts it on, the power envelopes him.
In the background a green energy burst is seen.
MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid approaches Batman.
DARKSEID
Were you left as sacrifice?
Green vapors rise from Batman, his suit and symbol is now
a combination of the Batman and Green Lanterns. Batman
turns away from Darkseid and scowls.
BATMAN
Not exactly.
Batman leaps into flight, a green trail of energy follows
him. Batman arches in air and lands behind Darkseid. He
grabs Darkseids head and slams it to the ground. Batman
lifts his boot to stomp Darkseid, Darkseid catches his
boot and throws it off of him. Batman flies backward and
lands on his feet. Darkseid stands and the two face off.
Darkseid is at least four feet taller than Batman, Batman
recognizes the size difference. With the power ring,
Batman creates an exoskeletal robot suit around himself,
the two are now the same size. They rush each other and
start throwing punches.
Batman returns Darkseids punches with a Capoeira flip
kick to his face. Darkseid stumbles then gains his
footing. He grabs Batman, lifts him up and body slams
him.
156.
Batman lies in a small crater caused by the impact, his
cowl sparks, his comlink and the tiny hologram projector
over his right eye fizzles. Batman gets up and transforms
the hands on the robot suit into mechanical claws.
Diana carries the ship away, she comlinks Batman.
DIANA
Batman, we are clear of the
battle. We are 10 clicks west of
your position.
Batmans comlink is busted from the fight, he doesnt
respond.
DIANA
Batman? (concerned) If that ring
gives you flight now is the time
for your escape. Batman!
EXT. THE GROUND, OUTSIDE OF DESTROYED PALACE - MOMENTS
LATER
Static and Dianas muffled voice is heard coming from
Batmans busted comlink. Batman swipes the green claws at
Darkseid, slashing him across the chest. His molten
insides drip from the wound. Darkseid leaps to Batman and
slams his knee into his face. Batman hits the ground.
Darkseid lifts off the ground and hovers, Batman didnt
know he could fly. Darkseid speeds back to the ground to
crush Batman. Batman jumps out of the way, Darkseid slams
his knee and fist into the ground. While Darkseid is on
the ground Batman leaps to him and knees him in the back
of the head driving his face into the dirt.
DARKSEID
Enough.
Darkseid lifts up and blasts Batman with his Omega Beam.
Batman is knocked hundreds of feet away. Batman lands

Batman is now in the Batman suit. Darkseid approaches.

EXT. WATCHTOWER SPACE STATION - MOMENTS LATER
The sound of a charging weapon is heard. From the bottom
of the space station a giant laser fires.
Diana sits Aurora 2 down in a safe place.
The hatch opens, Superman is scorched from head to toe.
Cyborg and The Martian work on the cockpit.
DIANA
(to the others) Batman is no more.
His was a good death.
Cyborg pries the damaged Mother Box from the compartment
on the arm Darkseid blasted.
CYBORG
I hope ours is the same. (Holding
up the Mother Box) From worse to
worse.
Cyborgs hand transforms into several small tools and he
works on the Mother Box. Sensing the teams despair, The
Martian turns to them.
MARTIAN
What I have learned from joining
with the human mind is that
sometimes you must hope against
all hope and choose to believe
that all is not lost.
Superman hears The Martian and is coming to. Cyborg looks
up from working on the Mother Box.
CYBORG
Not for everyone but it is a
beautiful dream.
Cyborgs mechanical eye notices the laser blast from
Watchtower about to rain down on Batmans position.
CYBORG
He lives!

Batman! He must be alive,
Watchtower has just fired on him!
DIANA
His comlink must be down.
The Martian turns his psychic abilities to the destroyed
palace in search of Batmans mind. He faintly hears the
two words that Bruce looped in his mind.
BATMAN (V.O.)
The mission.
MOMENTS LATER
With eyes growing brighter and arms clasped behind his
back, Darkseid approaches and stands towering over
Batman.
EXT. SKY - APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
The blast from Watchtower is headed toward Apokolips.
EXT. THE GROUND, OUTSIDE OF DESTROYED PALACE - MOMENTS
LATER
DARKSEID
Prepare for a future of pain.
BATMAN
You first.
Secretly, behind his back, under his cape, Batman has
created a full arm gauntlet with large ten inch razor
sharp spikes on the knuckles and a spike on the elbow. He
takes the gauntlet arm from behind his back and jams the
spiked knuckles into Darkseids inner knee, hobbling him.
Darkseid cries out and falls to the ground on one knee.
Batman leaps straight up into the air and comes back down
crashing his spiked elbow deep into Darkseids skull. The
control band on Darkseids head cracks. Darkseids eyes
go nuclear and blasts everything in his line of sight.
Batman grabs his head and uses it like a laser cannon, he
points it at the troops guarding the tube entrance
destroying them.

They see the troops at the tube entrance destroyed. The
Martian touches his temples and telepathically calls out
to Batman.
MARTIAN
(to Batman aloud) Look up. Look
up.
The others join in.
DIANA
Look up!
INT. IN BATMANS MIND - MOMENTS LATER
Batman hears Dianas voice, looks up and sees the blast
about to hit the two of them. Batman lifts Darkseid, eyes
still blasting, face up over his head and uses him as a
shield against the blast raining down on them from above.
He also form a green force field around himself. When the
blast is over, the ground around the two is scorched.
Batman throws Darkseids limp body to the ground, its
chard and smoking.
Batman clears his nostrils and with the ring he creates a
pair of giant bat wings unfurling from his back. Batman
rises off the ground, he looks toward thousands of
Parademon piloted fighters and tanks headed his way.
Batman flies to meet them head on. Thousands of huge
razer sharp green energy batarangs launch from his wings
and slice a path through hundreds of fighters. The
fighters explode in air and hit the ground.
Diana sees massive war class cruisers approaching Batman
in the sky, she knows hell need help.
DIANA
(to Cyborg) This human is full of
surprises. Get that tube open.
Diana flies off.
LATER
Batman turns and sees the massive war cruisers advancing
on him.
160.
The bat wings formed of energy envelope Batman and
transform into a multi ringed gyroscope with Batman
sitting in the center in a gunners chair with a large
laser cannon. The gunners chair swivels at high speeds in
every direction and the cannon fires in rapid succession.
It appears that Batman is firing in all directions at
once. Hes hitting every in the air and on the ground.
One of the war class cruisers fires on Batmans
gyroscope, it hit and slams into the ground.
INT. THE BRIDGE OF THE MASSIVE WAR CLASS CRUISER -
MOMENTS LATER
The battle scarred commander stands on the bridge of the
large lead ship, he yells at the crew.
Destroy them all!
MOMENTS LATER
The gyroscope lies in a crater caused by the impact.
INT. GYROSCOPE - MOMENTS LATER
Inside the gyroscope, Batman hangs upside down in the
gunners chair. Laser blasts from above hit the ground
around it.
EXT. MASSIVE WAR CLASS CRUISERS - MOMENTS LATER
The massive war class cruisers fire on Batman. From
below, unknown laser fire hits the war cruisers.
EXT. THE GROUND - BELOW THE WAR CLASS CRUISERS - MOMENTS
LATER
On the ground, freed slaves have taken up arms, they fire
on the cruisers. The slaves have bloody rings around
their heads from pulling out their shock bands.
INT. GYROSCOPE - MOMENTS LATER
Batman clinches his ringed glove.

EXT. GYROSCOPE - MOMENTS LATER
The gyroscope transforms into a larger version of the
Tumbler. Instead of tires, this energy created Tumbler
has tank treads. Batman is seated center in this vehicle.
The vehicle grinds and roars, it climbs out of the crater
and drives towards Aurora 2 which is several miles away.
Batman is still being fired on from the war cruisers
above, he takes evasive maneuvers. The Tumbler smashes
through buildings and climbs over structures Monster
truck style.
INT. GREEN ENERGY TUMBLER - MOMENTS LATER
With comlink busted, using his mind, Batman calls out to
The Martian.
BATMAN
(to The Martian) Martian! Open the
tube open, Im headed your way!
In his mind, The Martian hears Batmans message.
MARTIAN
(to Cyborg) Our hopes have found
us but now we need that device
working.
CYBORG
I need more time.
The Martian watches the battle from the cockpit.
MARTIAN
My friend, that is what we sorely
lack. Batman is headed this way to
take us through the tube and he is
not alone.
The Martian sees the entire armada of Apokolips
approaching. Superman opens his eyes
Diana rips the cannon from a destroyed tank and uses it
as a bat.
162.
Superman crawls out of the hatch and hit the ground, he
looks to see the approaching armada. On all fours, in
pain, he leaps into flight.
MOMENTS LATER
The battle scarred commander looks from the bridge of the
ship to see Diana about to hit them with the cannon/bat.
EXT. GREEN ENERGY TUMBLER - MOMENTS LATER
Batman looks up and sees Diana and Superman, the tumblers
turns around.
EXT. THE BRIDGE OF THE MASSIVE WAR CLASS CRUISER -
MOMENTS LATER
Diana smashes the bridge of the war cruiser causing a
chain reaction explosion.
EXT. THE BRIDGE OF THE MASSIVE WAR CLASS CRUISER -
MOMENTS LATER
Superman slams into a cruiser causing it to collide with
another cruiser and they both explode.
MOMENTS LATER
Superman crashes through each deck of the cruiser until
he breaks through to the other side of it. A vomiting
explosion follows his exit.
Two large cannons form on the Tumbler and fire on other
war cruisers. Just then Darkseids Omega Beam hits the
Tumbler, sending it rolling over several times. Darkseid
stagers and then takes flight toward Superman.

EXT. THE SKY ABOVE THE MASSIVE WAR CLASS CRUISERS -
MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid is tackled in mid air by Diana, the two trade
punches. Superman flies to aid Diana when he is hit by a
blast from a tank, he falls from the sky. A second later,
Darkseid is blasted out of the sky by a hit from a slave
commandeered tank.
EXT. GIANT TANK - MOMENTS LATER
The slaves cheer from the deck of the tank and fire on
Darkseids tanks.
Cyborg finishes soldering the Mother Box and the screen
on the device illuminates. Cyborg looks out of the
cockpit window and points the Mother Box upward,
activates it and opens a tube in the sky. The Mother Box
then shorts circuits and throws off sparks, its screen
goes dark. Cyborg taps his comlink.
CYBORG
(to Diana) We have a tube!
EXT. THE SKY ABOVE THE GREEN ENERGY TUMBLER - MOMENTS
LATER
Superman falls to the ground, Diana races toward him and
catches him feet from impact. With Superman in tow, Diana
streaks past Batman toward Aurora 2.
Batman heads in the same direction, the Tumbler peels out
and crashing through everything in its path.
MORNING
Darkseid gets up and sees the open tube in the sky. Dead
Parademons litter the ground around him, he takes a
communication device off one of the bodies. He radios to
his army.

DARKSEID
This is the voice of your lord,
all aircraft to the unauthorized
tube. Bring me their ashes!
EXT. SKY ABOVE DARKSEIDS DESTROYED PALACE - MOMENTS
LATER
Hundreds of Parademon aerial fighters and the remaining
war cruisers turn for the open tube.
Carrying Superman, Diana streaks through the industrial
area.
Diana and Superman fly through the hatch.
DIANA
(to The Martian) Close it!
The green energy Tumbler smashes through the industrial
area headed for Aurora 2. It is being fired upon by war
cruisers.
MOMENTS LATER
A commander on the bridge spots Aurora 2 on the ground.
CAPTAIN OF WAR CRUISER
(to his crew) Destroy that vessel!
The operator fires at Aurora 2.
Batman looks up through the green energy Tumbler and sees
the blasts from the war cruiser headed for Aurora 2.

Booster rockets in the back of the Tumbler engages,
sending the Tumbler flying through the air. The Tumbler
transforms mid air into a giant green energy bat type
creature. The wings spread out and its talons grab Aurora
2. The blast from the war cruiser misses and hits the
ground. The giant green energy bat carries aurora 2 into
the tube. Hundreds of Parademon aerial fighters and
multiple war cruisers follow the team into the tube.
MOMENTS LATER
Darkseid stands along side the debris of what once was
his palace. Hundreds of aerial fighter aircraft surround
him, the fighters are now piloted by freed slaves of all
species. Approaching from behind the fighters are several
giant tanks, they point their guns at Darkseid. Darkseid
stands with his arms clasped behind his back, defiant.
Darkseid scowls and his eyes illuminate. The sound of
weapons fire and Darkseids Omega Blast is heard.
EXT. THE SKY OVER THE OCEAN - EARTH - DAYTIME - MOMENTS
LATER
Green lantern #2 and #3 followed by an as yet revealed
number of Green Lanterns fly over the ocean headed for
the location of the temporal distortion.
Batman, inside the green energy bat flies through the
winding tube with its talons clutching Aurora 2, followed
by the war cruisers and Parademon aerial fighters.
Diana tends to Nightwing and Ayala. Cyborg tends to
Superman.
Batman looks behind him to see that they are being
followed by the war cruisers and Parademons. The Green
Lantern ring beeps, its running low on power.

INT. THE BRIDGE OD A MASSIVE WAR CLASS CRUISER - MOMENTS
LATER
A gunner targets Aurora 2.
GUNNER #2
I have them in my sights.
The commander back hands the gunner out of his seat.
ALIEN COMMANDER
Fool, if you miss them and hit the
wall of this tube it will fold in
on all of us.
With his mechanical eye, Cyborg uses his x-ray on
Supermans chest. It reveals Supermans extra fortified
rib cage, connected muscles, exotic bone structure and
organs that are unfamiliar to the human anatomy.
Supermans organs have all stopped moving.
CYBORG
A scan of his vital organs show
there is no sign of a life force
present.
INT. GREEN ENERGY BAT - MOMENTS LATER
The power ring beeps, Batman grimaces, he knows they
must get to Earth faster.
The green energy bat transforms into a Batjet. Batman
rides in the cockpit. The green energy talons from the
giant bat clutching Aurora 2 have changed into cables,
hooks and harnesses holding the ship. The afterburners of
the Batjet kick in and it and Aurora 2 pull further ahead
of the war cruisers. The power ring beeps.

EXT. OPEN FIELD WITH WILD GRASS BLOWING IN THE WIND,
FIFTY MILES OUTSIDE OF GOTHAM CITY - SAME PLACE WHERE THE
TEAM OPENED THE WORM HOLE TO GO TO APOKOLIPS - DAYTIME ON
EARTH - MOMENTS LATER
The Star Labs eighteen wheeler with the cannon weapon
under the tarp rolls up to the location flanked by
military trucks. Scientists and military personnel exit
their vehicles and remove the tarp covering the cannon. A
scientist sitting at the base of the long cannon swivels
it from right to left and then up and down.
The two blacked out helicopters carrying Dr. Waller,
Operator #3 and team fly in and land. Dr. Waller and team
exit the helicopter, she greets a woman in a lab coat
waiting for her.
DR. WALLER
Professor, is that the new rail
weapon Ive heard so much about?
PROFESSOR
It is, its primed and ready for
testing. Where is the target?
Dr. Waller puts her hand on the professors shoulder and
leads her off.
Hidden behind the brush, in the background of all the
activity is the GNN news, the cameraman films. Overhead,
Green Lantern #2 and #3 followed by hundreds of Green
Lanterns of different species descend on the field.
Soldiers raise their weapons and the rail cannon turns to
the direction of the Lanterns.
DR. WALLER
Lower your weapons and stand down!
Green Lantern #2 and #3 land in front of Dr. Waller,
other Lanterns land, some hover above the ground.
DR. WALLER
I am Dr. Waller. I have worked
with the Green Lantern Hal Jordan.
Green Lantern #2 and #3 give each other a regrettable
look. Waller knows that look on their faces.
GREEN LANTERN #3
Hal Jordan is greatly missed.
Waller understands.

DR. WALLER
Yes, well, have you come to assist
us.
GREEN LANTERN #2
We come for our lost Lantern, this
was her last recorded position.
Jason Blood wakes up, The Martian helps him. Cyborg
attempts CPR on Superman but he isnt strong enough with
one wounded arm to push his chest up and down. Injured,
Nightwing looks to Superman.
NIGHTWING
(to Diana) Shock his heart.
Nightwing pulls a taser from his belt, activates it and
tosses it to Diana. On her knees, Diana puts the taser
onto Supermans chest and shocks him. Superman doesnt
move. Diana shocks him again.
DIANA
Flash, I could use a stronger
charge here!
Wounded, Flash makes his way to Superman. Flash takes a
deep breath and slaps his hands together and rubs them
feverishly (Mr. Miyagi style) until static electricity
envelopes his hands. Flash slams his electrically charged
hands onto Supermans chest, nothing happens. Diana draws
back and punches Superman in the chest, the ship rumbles,
nothing happens. The team repeats the shocking and
punching several more times.
EXT. OPEN FIELD WITH WILD GRASS BLOWING IN THE WIND -
SAME PLACE WHERE THE TEAM OPENED THE WORM HOLE TO GO TO
APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
GNN news man straightens his tie.
NEWS MAN
(to the cameraman) Are you getting
this? Its like a whos who of
what the hell is that!

The afterburners of the green energy Batjet multiply on
the wings and then blow even harder and widens the gap
between it and the war cruisers.
The team is still shocking and punching Superman in the
chest to no avail. The Martian steps in.
MARTIAN
Stand clear!
The Martian fazes his hand into Supermans chest and
grabs his heart. With Cyborgs x-ray vision he watches The
Martian messaging Supermans alien heart. Nothing
happens, The Martian pulls his hand from Supermans
chest. The Martian looks to the others and nods his head
no, the mood sinks.
INT. COCKPIT OF THE GREEN ENERGY BATJET - MOMENTS LATER
From the cockpit of the green energy Batjet, Batman sees
the tube open up in the distance. The power ring beeps.
The integrity of the green energy Batjet has begun to
weaken and grow thinner.
The tube opens in the sky above Dr. Waller. The Lanterns
point their rings at the tube, the military and the Star
Labs cannon does the same.
DR. WALLER
Everyone hold your fire! Lets see
what we are dealing with!
INT. THE BRIDGE OF A MASSIVE WAR CLASS CRIUSER - MOMENTS
LATER
The commander sees the opening and alerts a gunner.
ALIEN COMMANDER
Take them the instant we reach
open space.

The Martian looks out of the cockpit.
MARTIAN
Blue sky is in sight. We can not
allow that army to reach it.
THE AQUATIC
We must collapse the tube.
DIANA
We dont have enough fire power
aboard.
Injured, The Aquatic raises his retracted trident and
tosses it to Diana, she catches it and extends it. Cyborg
steps to Diana, he transforms the arm thats not wounded
into a laser cannon and then detaches it from his body.
Cyborg hands Diana his cannon/arm.
CYBORG
(to Diana) Do not lose it.
The Martian checks the cockpit console and sees that the
ships weapon is fully charged.
MARTIAN
Hope against all hope?
INT. COCKPIT OF THE GREEN ENERGY BATJET
Batman reaches the edge of the worm hole.
Diana exits the aircraft and flies to Batman.
Dr. Waller, her team, the military, GNN news, and the
Green Lanterns stare up at the worm hole opening. The
green energy Batjet flies out of the tube towing Aurora
2. Waller recognizes the ship.
DR. WALLER
(to herself) Aurora?

EXT. COCKPIT OF THE GREEN ENERGY BATJET - MOMENTS LATER
With weapons in hand, Diana flies next to the green
energy jet. She screams to Batman.
DIANA
We must close that tube!
Diana turns and fires inside the tube with Cyborgs
cannon/arm and The Aquatics trident.
INT. COCKPIT OF THE GREEN ENERGY BATJET - MOMENTS LATER
Batman understands, he turns the green energy Batjet and
Aurora 2 around and face the tube. A button forms on the
control stick(steering wheel) of the Batjet. The power
ring beeps, the green energy Batjet is beginning to faze
in and out, the Lantern ring is very low on power. He
opens fire.
EXT. COCKPIT OF THE GREEN ENERGY BATJET - MOMENTS LATER
Green energy laser cannons form on both sides of the
cockpit.
The Martian opens fire with the Whistler weapon. The
ships console screen gage shows that the ships weapon is
loosing power fast.
MARTIAN
We need more power!
Cyborg looks into the tube with his mechanical eye, he
can see the war cruisers and fighters approaching. Cyborg
slams his fist onto the cockpit console. The articulated
cable comes out of his wrist and interfaces with the
ship. Smoke rises from the console and Cyborgs arm, he
has a pained expression on his face.
CYBORG
Transferring power from my energy
storage.
Cyborgs arm sparks and smokes. The online gage for the
weapon shows its power quickly rising. The Martian
continues to fire.

INT. THE BRIDGE OF A MASSIVE WAR CLASS CRIUSER - MOMENTS
LATER
The gunner sees the blasts coming from Batman and team
hitting the wall of the tube.
GUNNER #2
They are firing on the tube!
The alien commander is impressed.
ALIEN COMMANDER
Ruthless. But it requires far more
fire power than they possess. Soon
we will have them.
Waller watches Batman and Aurora 2 fire into the tube and
she orders everyone on the ground to do the same.
DR. WALLER
This picture just came into focus.
Fire into that distortion!
The military, Star Labs rail cannon and hundreds of Green
Lanterns fire a multitude of different blast patterns
into the mouth of the tube.
MOMENTS LATER
The alien commander sees the barrage of fire into the
tube.
EXT. TUBE - MOMENTS LATER
The mouth of the tube expands and then contracts. A war
cruiser gets partially out of the tube. An explosions
vomits from the tube as it crushes and closes around the
war cruiser. The tube then sucks the destroyed war
cruiser back in.
173.
EXT. INDUSTRIAL AREA OF APOKOLIPS - NIGHT ON APOKOLIPS -
MOMENTS LATER
The tube reopens on Apokolips. A blow back explosion
vomits out of the entrance. The explosion of energy,
flame and debris binds with the flames of the nearby
giant fire pit. The fire pit erupts and an earthquake
began.
EXT. SPACE OUTSIDE OF APOKOLIPS - MOMENTS LATER
Giant fire pits all over the planet of Apokolips explode.
From space, cracks can be seen opening up all over the
surface of the planet.
EXT. THE GREEN ENERGY BATJET - MOMENTS LATER
The green energy Batjet fazes completely out. Batman
hovers in air but Aurora 2 falls. Batman and Diana fly
after it. Batman points the power ring at it but its
almost drained of energy. As Aurora 2 falls, the hundreds
of Green Lanterns point their rings at it, envelope it in
green energy beams and gently lower it to the ground.
Batman and Diana land in front of Aurora 2. The Lanterns,
Dr. Waller and military move closer.
The GNN cameraman films. The news man reports.
NEWS MAN
Its this reporters opinion that
this is the moment that we will
always remember as the day the
world changed forever, again.
The Martian steps out of the ship carrying Superman in
his arms. Diana drops the trident and Cyborgs arm to the
ground. Batman and Diana step to The Martian.
MARTIAN
His light has left him.
The Martian hands Supermans lifeless body to Batman.
Batman looks up and leaps straight up into the sky. Green
Lantern #3 calls to Batman as he flies away.

GREEN LANTERN #3
(to Batman) Lantern, your ring is
drained, you are without power!
DIANA
(to Lantern #3)(with admiration
for Batman) His power does not
come from the ring, it comes from
his heart.
Diana looks to the sky and then flies off after Batman.
The Martian approaches Dr. Waller.
MARTIAN
We have returned your ship.
Waller looks at the damaged ship, raises an eyebrow and
makes an oh really expression.
The Martian and Cyborg stand together. Cyborg picks his
arm off the ground and reattaches it, it still looks like
a cannon.
CYBORG
(to Green Lantern #3) We have an
injured Lantern. (to Dr. Waller)
And an injured human.
Dr. Waller looks Cyborg up and down, she makes a gesture
to Operator #3 and he points the Disabler hybrid gun at
Cyborg.
DR. WALLER
How about you drop that weapon
first.
Cyborg looks at his cannon arm, and then sticks out his
other hand, his fingertips light up and magnetically he
pulls the Disabler from Operator #3s hands. Cyborg
points his cannon arm and the Disabler at Dr. Waller.
CYBORG
This weapon or this weapon?
The Aquatic steps out of Aurora 2 and picks up his
trident and stands with his team. Flash limps from the
ship and stands with them, the military point their
weapons at them.
175.
EXT. THE OPEN SKY - MOMENTS LATER
Through clouds, building up speed, cape rippling and
snapping in the wind, Batman carries Superman higher and
higher through the atmosphere. With the last of his
strength, Batman pushes Superman out into space.
Supermans lifeless body tumbles out into space, the
bright unfiltered sunlight hits Supermans body and face.
At the edge of Earths atmosphere, the Green Lantern
power ring goes dark. Batman falls backwards, he gains
speed, Batmans cape catches fire as he reenters the
atmosphere. He turns his body around and now hes falling
face first with burning cape on his back.
The situation between Waller and the aliens escalates.
Dr. Waller draws her side arm. The Aquatic charges his
trident.
Batman free falls to Earth. An assorted arsenal of
weapons he keeps concealed and strapped to his back are
revealed as his cape burns away.
With guns pointed at the team, an injured Nightwing and
Ayala help each other out of Aurora 2, they are followed
by the twins, they stand with Cyborg and team.
MARTIAN
(to Dr. Waller) We are here to
help.
DR. WALLER
(tense) Just drop those weapons
and Ill listen to anything you
have to say.
In the background the GNN news team still films and
broadcasts the event. Dr. Waller looks to the Lanterns
for help.

DR. WALLER
Lanterns, please disarm these
fugitives.
The Lanterns step closer. From the hatch of the ship
emerges Jason Blood. He has a bloody ring around his head
where his shock band was removed. Jason blood has an
uncomfortable look on his face. Jason Blood chants as he
walks to The Martian and the team that freed him.
JASON BLOOD
(chanting) Gone gone the veil of
man, spawn the demon (rage)
Etrigan!
Jason Blood splits open and transforms into a twelve foot
tall demon with demonic yellow cat eyes, horns, claws and
a mouth full of large teeth, he stands with the team.
Even members of The Martians team are surprised to see
what he has become. The military takes a step back.
Batman is still falling, the ground is rapidly
approaching. An arm raps around the back of Batmans
waist, its Diana. She holds onto him and slows his
descent, they slowly fall.
DIANA
The Kryptonian?
As the two slowly ascend to the ground, something flies
by them at high speeds.
The green Lanterns turn their rings toward Cyborg and the
team. The Star Labs rail cannon is pointed at Etrigan The
Demon.
The sound of something cutting through the air is heard
and then Superman hits the ground in front of Cyborg and
team, he lands with a fist and a knee to the ground. A
thud is heard and dust is kicked up.

(to Diana) Thanks for the ride.
Batman takes Dianas arm from around his waist, he falls.
Batman presses a button on his utility belt and two small
panels on the back of his suit at the shoulder blades
open up and two small black parachutes deploy. The
parachutes slow Batmans fall.
A beaten, burned and weakened Superman stands and
proclaims to Dr. Waller.
SUPERMAN
These people saved this planet.
Theyre heroes. (calm but
forceful) Theyre with me.
Superman wobbles, Batman and Diana land at Supermans
side and they help him stand. The heroes stand together,
wounded, torn, burnt and battered as a team. Batman cuts
his eyes at Dr. Waller.
BATMAN
(to Dr. Waller) Stand down and
Ill get you up to speed.
Dr. Waller cuts her eyes back at Batman and considers.
DR. WALLER
(to her team, the military and the
Lanterns) Stand down!
Everyone on both sides lower their weapons. Batman looks
at the large demon standing with him, he looks at the
twins and they have transformed into micro Etrigan The
Demons, the twins wave at Dr. Waller. Waller looks to
all of the aliens and shakes her head in a considered
disbelief.
MINUTES LATER
Ayala is reunited with the Green Lanterns, with their
energy rings, they incase her wounded body in a green
energy pod hovering off the ground. Batman returns her
power ring to Green Lantern #3. Medics tend to the
wounded. Superman hovers above the crowd with his arms
spread out absorbing sunlight. Cyborg, Flash and the
Martian talk to Jason Blood who is no longer the demon.

Diana is on one knee talking to the twins, they have
returned to their normal selves. Batman and Dr. Waller
glare at each other.
INT. TELEVISION SCREENS ALL OVER THE WORLD - MOMENTS
LATER
People are watching the GNN News coverage of the event
that just transpired.
Alfred and Toyman are watching the GNN news feed on the
large monitor at the console.
TOYMAN
And these images are seen by the
entire planet?
ALFRED
They are.
TOYMAN
(troubled) The humans will know we
are among them.
ALFRED
(proud) Humanity will know that
when the world needed a hero, we
answered the call, all of us, a
league, united.
Alfred puts his hand on Toymans shoulder as they watch
the news feed.
THE HALL OF JUSTICE - NIGHT - DAYS LATER
The hall of justice is dark and Batman sits at his
console in front of the large monitor viewing the blue
prints of the Aurora aircraft. The aliens are heard
talking from the living quarters at the end of the hall.
A video call comes through. A picture in picture screen
opens on the large monitor, it reads,AREA 56
CONFIDENTIAL TRANSMISSION. Batman excepts the video
call. Dr. Waller is on the monitor.
DR. WALLER (ON SCREEN)
(sarcastic) Welcome back Batman.

(no nonsense) What can I do for
you Dr.?
Satellite images from our convoys
ambush revealed something that
might be of interest to you. Im
sending the images now.
Three images pop up on the large monitor. The images are
of the drones and missiles that hit the convoy that freed
Grodd. Batman looks at the images.
These are custom drones built with
tech reported stolen from Lexcorp.
Anything look familiar?
Batman enlarges the image of the missile and sees a
stencil of a playing card joker on it, he cuts his eyes.
He escaped from police custody,
hes got at least a billion
dollars in mob money in his back
pocket, and now a giant alien
gorilla in his keep.
(accusatory)Oh yea, and hes
completely obsessed with you. I
trust that... you will do what you
do.
Batman considers.
And Batman, one more thing. Under
your watchful eye and the
protection of Superman is where
our out of towners will remain,
for now. But know this, our
president, myself and the entire
United Nations now consider you
and yours a sovereign nation onto
itself, with which to date, we
hold no treaty or agreement. Its
citizens are considered living
weapons of mass destruction and
you are considered to be their
leader. (threatening) If they step
even an inch out of bounds, no
solution will be left off the
table. (serious) Waller out.

The video call drops off the screen and Batman taps a
button on the console. He speaks into an intercom.
BATMAN
Lucius, did you get that?
LUCIUS FOX (V.O.)
I did. Im executing phase 2.
BATMAN
Im sending you some help.
Batman reaches for a button to switch off the call but
Lucius has one more thing to say.
LUCIUS FOX (V.O.)
Batman, the green stone you sent
for analyses, its giving off some
new kind of radiation, its a
certainty that its not from
anywhere around here. What are we
calling this rock?
BATMAN
(pensive) Kryptonite.
FADE TO BLACK

EXT. THE SWAMPS - SUNDOWN
In the swamps, Grodds swinging gorilla arms are seen
walking forward. Grodd is being accompanied by an albino
pair of swinging gorilla arms. The two stop, they
approaches, Barda, Grundy and Devil Ray sitting in a
bayou. Grundy is holding an alligator and eating it, the
other two sit around.
GRODD
Brothers and sisters!

GRODD
It is time to rise up from the
muck, there is a world to be taken
here...and we are legion!
The others raise an arm and cheer, Grodd gives a sinister
grin.
