ONLI NE SUBSEA ENGI NEERI NG COURSE

Univation Limited, the commercial subsidiary of Robert Gordon University,
Aberdeen, in conjunction with Subsea UK, has developed an online programme
of four modules to support the induction of engineers from other industries and
new graduates into the subsea sector.

The UK Subsea sector is set for explosive growth. This modular online
course aims to provide an introduction to the oil and gas industry and
an overview of Subsea as an industry.
The current lack of engineering talent in the employment market has
led to the oil and gas industry trying to attract new recruits from other
disciplines, while also retaining and developing existing staff.
Initiatives with Higher Education partners are providing part of the
solution.
This online course has been designed to support subsea employers in
their recruitment drive by supplementing their training programmes.

students to gauge their progress.
A chat room and forum, where participants are encouraged to discuss the
programme content with other each other, is also available.
