So Long, CHS!

Carlisle High School

June 2014

Im speechless. To
quote Emily Dickinson,
Saying nothing
sometimes says the
most. Goodbye CHS!
- Spencer Pechart
The past four years
have been interesting,
to say the least. I have
made some incredible
friendships and some
amazing memories.
Now its officially time to
graduate and I cant wait
to see what the future
holds because as one
door closes, another is
opening and I couldnt
be more excited. Good
luck, Class of 2014!
- Bri Hendriksen

On behalf of the entire Periscope staff, good luck to all of the graduating seniors!
As we part ways, here are a few final words from Periscopes senior class:
I will miss this school,
even though there were
some... difficulties. I will
be excited, however, to
graduate and go on with
my life. Thank you all
for your help!
- Alana Mason

CHS, this isnt goodbye;

its a see ya later.
Optimism is the key to
success, remember that!
Catch ya in the real
world!
- Alexis Jefferson

Thanks to all my
teachers and friends who
have pushed me to reach
my maximum potential.
Good luck to the future
CHS graduates!
- Tyler Galaskas

Goodbye, CHS! Its

been a good two years.
Thanks for everything
and go out and do
wonderful things, class
of 2014!
- Janie Haseman

Its hard to say goodbye,

yet its hard to say I
would want to stay. The
past four years have led
me to this point right
now. Now in the blink
of an eye, everything I
once knew will change,
and I will have to do
everything on my own.
Ill miss you CHS, but
Im ready to travel the
road ahead.

PERISCOPEteacheradvice

June 2014

Success
is to be measured not
so much by the position that one has
reached in life as by the obstacles which he has
overcome while trying to succeed.
-Booker T. Washington
Never give up on your dreams and do what makes
YOU happy.
-Mrs. Devon Collier

Your time is limited, so dont waste it living

someone elses life. Dont let the noise of others
opinions drown out your own inner voice. And
most important, have the courage to follow your
heart and intuition. They somehow already know
what you truly want to become. Everything else is
secondary.
-Mr. Kevin Wagner

I think Rachels Challenge sums it up well:

1.
Look for the best in others
2.
Dream big
3.
Choose positive influences
4.
Speak with kindness
5.
Start your own chain reaction.

-Mrs. Chantal Savage

I love quotes. One of my favorites that has guided me is from
Helen Keller. She said, the best and most beautiful things
in this world cannot be seen or even touched they must be
felt with the heart. The catch is in order to feel these things
you have to open your heart when there is no reason to open
it up. You have to let things in; not just some people and
experiences but all people and experiences. You never know
which will be the moments that touch your heart so you have
to be willing to let every moment touch your heart. Opening
up your heart to everything will lead to some pain but the
moments of joy greatly outweigh the sorrow. So everyday give
yourself to the moments and you will find the wonder that is
life an extraordinary thing.
