In a world where superheroes are aforded
all the advantages our celebrity-obsessed
culture has to ofer...what would you do if
the media mistook you for a G.E.P. (Geneti-
cally Elevated Person)? If youre mild-man-
nered slacker GREG PINCUS, you cave to
the pressure put upon you by your Mother,
your (new) friends, and your opportunistic
roommate BARRY and live the lie!
Last issue, blurry after a long night of
male bonding with The Mighty, a G-Man,
and two bottles of straight scotch, Greg
agreed to be photographed for a spread in Super Illustrated magazine. But when
he arrived at the studio, Greg discovered that he was to be featured in the publica-
tions body issue -- and shot bare-assed naked. Whats more, each photo would
illustrate a mutants super-human abilities. In Gregs case, that meant emerging
unscathed from a barrage of Jake Blazes aming reballs. (Not likely)
Meanwhile, Desiree discovered a voicemail left by drunken Greg, disinviting her to
be his date to the Peoples Choice Awards. And Gregs brother, Frederick, experienced
a tipping point in his frustration with what he KNOWS to be Gregs subterfuge...

FLAVIA CARACUZZO
(COLORIST) Flavia Caracuzzo is
a 2010 graduate of the Roman
School of Comics, currently
working as an illustrator,
storyboard artist, and colorist.
Her artistic inuences span
from Flemish painting and the
Impressionists to comic artists
including Cyril Pedrosa, Skottie
Young, Sergio Toppi, Hayao
Miyazaki, and, of course, her
father, Giancarlo Caracuzzo. Her
paintings have been featured in
two exhibitions in Rome.
