The traditional wedding needs to end
An antiquated message it does send
Forsaking all others, too restrictive to me
To pick lovers, people should remain free
Still seen are the words, Love, honor, obe
!ho wants to be e"pected to act that wa
To make the vow, #ntil death do we part
$a unfairl tie the bride to some old fart
A better contract has a definite renewal date
So an end can be seen when love turn to hate
An agreement that e"pires in five ears
!ould eliminate untold strife and fears
An earlier escape clause should be put in
%repare for divorce before it does begin
Allowing ga marriage is long overdue
&as have the right to be miserable too
