Why do people so easily fall prey to error? ....
Truth ....
It is indeed diffiult for you! "y ser#ants on earth! to assert
yoursel#es against $isoneptions! for e#erything that o$es
fro$ the ad#ersary %ill also &e endorsed &y hi$! and he %ill
support those %ho are of ser#ie to hi$ in e#ery %ay &y
spreading error and plunging people into e#er greater dar'ness.
(is %orst ation! ho%e#er! rests in the fat that he $a'es the$
&elie#e that they are %or'ing for Me. )nd thus you %ill also
understand %hen it is said that he %ill appear in the gar$ent of
an angel of light! and you %ill e*ually understand that truth and
error are often lose together .... that the sa$e see$ingly ta'es
plae and yet it is entirely the opposite! onerning its ontent as
%ell as its effet.
)nd you %ill raise the *uestion as to %hy I allo% this to happen!
sine I! after all! lo#e "y li#ing reations and %ould li'e to lead
the$ into &eatitude .... +ou %ill raise the o&,etion that all
hu$an &eings stri#e for happiness and yet an &e $isled &y the
ad#ersary and the ene$y of their souls. )nd again! there is only
one ans%er to this! na$ely! that e#ery person need only
esta&lish heartfelt ontat %ith "e and sinerely appeal to "e to
protet hi$ fro$ error .... Then he %ould also &rightly and
learly reognise the error ....
But %hat auses the ad#ersary to ha#e suh a large follo%ing ....
%hy do people allo% the$sel#es to &e aught up in a
$isoneption %ithout opposing it?
They are indifferent to the truth! they don-t deli&erate enough on
%hat their fello% hu$an &eings tell the$! they don-t ha#e the
desire for the &right light of realisation to &e 'indled in the$ ....
)nd this is &eause their nature is not yet ontrolled &y lo#e!
&eause they are still too attahed to the %orld and fail to li#e up
to "y o$$and$ents of lo#e for God and their neigh&our!
other%ise they %ould &e &rightly enlightened and per$eated &y
the desire for truth.
They ertainly a'no%ledge the fat that people are re*uired to
lead a spiritual life and therefore ,oin this or that shool of
thought! they allo% leaders to push the$ into this or that
diretion of thought and do not suffiiently reflet on it
the$sel#es &eause they ha#e not yet found a heartfelt &ond
%ith "e %hih is the result of a life of lo#e .... The %hole
e.planation only rests in the indi#idual person-s degree of lo#e as
to %hether and %hy the hu$an &eing falls prey to error.
/*ually! ho%e#er! the person %hose %ay of life is a life of lo#e %ill
,ust as surely 'no% the truth ....
)nd I an only on#ey the pure truth to earth &y %ay of ati#ely
lo#ing people! so that it is al%ays possi&le to gain possession of
the truth! &eause this is guaranteed &y the lo#e %ithin a
person-s heart. )nd this! too! is 'no%n &y "y ad#ersary!
onse*uently he tries to distort the onept of lo#e ....
(e stops people fro$ orretly realising %hat they should do in
order to gain "y lo#e .... (e stops people fro$ arrying out
unselfish deeds of lo#e and there&y also fro$ attaining inner
enlighten$ent.
(e %ill al%ays 'no% ho% to nourish a person-s selfish lo#e! and
for that ti$e the latter %ill re$ain in spiritual dar'ness and thin'
%rongly! for he %ill &e reepti#e to $any urrents of thought
%hih originate fro$ the ad#ersary.
The hu$an &eing! ho%e#er! has free %ill .... If he seriously %ants
to 'no% the truth it %ill also i$parted to hi$ %ith ertainty ....
(o%e#er! if a person only relies on that %hih is supplied to hi$
&y another fello% hu$an &eing %ithout atually e.periening the
&urning desire to learn the pure truth fro$ his God and 0reator
hi$self! then he %ill neither reognise error nor defend hi$self
against it and "y ad#ersary %ill ha#e sueeded in his %or' of
inreasing the dar'ness1 this %ill &eo$e partiularly e#ident at
the end of an earthly period so as not to lose his follo%ers %ho!
ho%e#er! %ould reognise his true nature and renoune hi$ if
they 'ne% the truth.
/#eryone %ho reahes out %ith pleading hands in order to aept
the truth fro$ "e %ill also &e a&le to reei#e it in a&undane!
and the truth %ill indeed $a'e hi$ #ery happy.
/#en so! I annot pre#ent "y ad#ersary-s ati#ity sine he is
entitled to fight for his follo%ers. )nd no $atter ho%
apprehensi&le his $ethods are .... the hu$an &eing need not
suu$& to hi$ &eause he al%ays has strength at his disposal
and &eause he need only turn to "e "yself in order to &e
proteted fro$ his influene.
)nd truly! "y Word is &eing on#eyed to earth as a &rightly
shining light %hih an also &e reognised &y all people as
truth ....
(o%e#er! anyone %ho is still so entrenhed in selfish lo#e %ill
also &e instilled &y "y ad#ersary %ith the &elief that he li#es on
earth as an ele#ated spirit! and this $isguided point of #ie%
entails that the hu$an &eing also 'eeps hi$self losed to e#ery
e$anation of light %hih originates fro$ "e diretly.
)nd yet the person &elie#es to &e of ser#ie to "e and is
ne#ertheless not a%are of "y %ill %hih re*uires hi$ to hand
hi$self o#er to "e o$pletely in order to then &e per$eated &y
"e %ith the light of truth! in order to ena&le "e "yself to address
hi$! Who undenia&ly needs ser#ants on earth &ut only those %ho
ha#e o$pletely entered into "y %ill and are therefore a&le to
%or' on earth on "y &ehalf ....
