Horticulture Club Award

TERMS OF REFERENCE

Purpose: To recognize commitment and achievement by

members of the Horticulture Club.

Source and Amount of Funding: A donation of between $500 and $2,000 from the
surpluses of the Horticulture Club’s funds as
determined by their executive body.

Tenability: Originally established in 2008, the award will remain in

existence at the discretion of the University of
Saskatchewan Horticulture Club Executive.

Award Committee: The Award Committee will consist of the Executive

Members of the University of Saskatchewan
Horticulture Club.

Number and Value of Awards:
Minimum: two awards of $500 to Maximum: two awards
of $1000 each. The number and amount of the awards
will be based on the amount of funds in surplus as
determined by the Executive of the University of
Saskatchewan Horticulture Club.

Program and Course Designations
and Eligibility Restrictions:
Open to full time students registered in any College at
the University of Saskatchewan who are members of
The University of Saskatchewan Horticulture Club not
currently serving on the Executive of the Club.
Recipients must have been members of the Horticulture
Club for at least one year and have shown exceptional
dedication and commitment to the work of the Club.

Selection Criteria: Selection will be based on the recipient’s commitment

to and involvement in the work of the University of
Saskatchewan Horticulture Club as determined by the
Award Committee.

It is hereby acknowledged that the above terms are acceptable and are in keeping with the
intent of the gift.
