Naresh Kadian, Chairman, People for Animals Haryana, Master Trainer, AWBI and Rep. of
United Nation affiliated OIPA www.oipa.org in India, done a lot for animal rights, their
welfare along with Nature and Wildlife conservation, since last 30 years. Naresh Kadian
tireless service for animals needs recognition and Padma awards, 2015 because he has
sacrificed his life time, to aware public about animal rights and their welfare, he is the man
behind Congress party supporter Nawab Pataudi black buck hunting and released on
probation for performance of his fundamental duties, to wards protection of wildlife, in case
of Nawab Pataudi poaching, like wise the Govt. of Haryana also compelled to amend their
Cattle Fair Act, excluding elephant from the definition of cattle, where as Govt. of Punjab also
doing same amendment, on the points raised by him.
The Govt. of Rajasthan also declared camel, as their state animal and its credit goes to regular
campaigning of Naresh Kadian, his applications were duly considered by the Delhi and
Haryana Assembly, Committee on Petitions, to replace the toothless legislations for animal
welfare, he has lodged many FIRs, supported prosecutions against animal abusers, moved
many Public Interest Litigation's and get ban on iron ankush, which was used to handle
elephants, from the Jaipur Bench of Rajasthan High Court, presently his PIL on Sambhar Lake;
Wetland of Rajasthan under consideration before the Supreme Court of India, to protect the
said lake from illegal bore well mafia, to safe guard the ecology along with the natural habitat
of the Flamingo birds. He has also worked for ban of oxytocin for lactation, illegal cruel
animal transportation, use of mongoose hairs for paint brushes, capturing and killing of
leopard, elephant abuse and played key role in elephant Sunder rescue from the custody of
Vinay Kore, MLA of Kohlapur and he has exposed Soha Ali Khan, filmstar illegal arms license.
As a non official member of the State Committee for Slaughter Houses, Department of Urban
and Local Bodies (Govt. of Haryana), his proposals were appreciated for introduction of
special vehicle for animal transportation, ban their shifting in goods transport vehicles, like
wise cow progeny declaration as state animal status of Haryana, due to Naresh Kadian
tireless services and efforts, the Govt. of India also considering the amendment in the Motor
Vehicle Act. The Govt. of India also banned the experimentation on animals, where as Naresh
Kadian worked hard for this, he has lodged FIRs against two special cattle trains carrying
cows for slaughtering from Punjab to West Bengal, on December 10, 2000; he has lodged FIR
with GRP, Faridabad against abuse of 40 boogies cows and then on December 28, 2000 with
GRP, Gaziabad against abuse of 40 boogies cows, where as his objections were also uphold by
the Allahabad Bench of High Court.
